    Oh man. I want to fish in Busan. Looks like I will visit Korea again this year. This time, Busan instead of Seoul. And as far as I understand, more possibility to go fishing in Busan. When I went to Seoul, I found and traveled to multiple tackle shops. Was hard to communicate but from what I gather, you have to plan to go fishing. Because it can take 3hrs or more to get to fishing area.

    thanks for coming back! don't disappear for long. Do you think a spinning rod up to 100 grams is enough for sea fishing in Korea or is sometimes more needed?

    • @rockyshore-english
      @rockyshore-english 8 месяцев назад

      Hi! Thanks for coming back to watch my video. I agreee that a 100g of rod is enough in most of cases if you are targeting 30-40cm fish or if you tartget Hailbut or rock fish you can catch up to 50-60 as well, but Amberjack or Tuna with the same size will overwhelm you.

    • @rockyshore-english
      @rockyshore-english 8 месяцев назад

      You need to check the maximum weight the rod can handle. If you use a lure that does not go over the maximum weight of your rod can handle. I think what lure you will use should decide the choice of your rod. In Gusan, I prefered to use 15~25g lure and a M action with around 100g heavy rod.

    how does this float differ from a classic float and is it clearly visible from afar?👍

    • @rockyshore-english
      @rockyshore-english 9 месяцев назад

      I do not understand clearly what a classic float but i guess you meant stick float standing vertically? This type of float is efficient in catching current and you can gain good understanding of the speed of current and change of it as well and you can adapt your fishing style accordingly. As for the visibility from afar is not so good with this one, but if you offset the buoyancy that the float has, you can feel through the line too.

      Oh actually it is a very possible situation. In the beginning of the video I was writing down my information on the boarding list. The captain will know in case someone boarded is missing from the list. But in very rare chance, some captains forget to refer to the boarding list and failed to pick everyone up at the end of the day and the angler stranded on a remote island had to wait until night when captain noticed that he missed someone.

    I am years late but Very nice video. For those asking what’s the difference this and that, it’s basically finesse rock fishing setup. The line and hook setup maybe similar to some but ISO fishing has specific rod and reel to complete name it ISO fishing, without rod and reel it’s basically float fishing. Long sensitive rod gives more controls over, and the reel has a trigger drag to control the drag on your finger tip which makes it more fun and also very effective. In summary ISO fishing gives more control over your bait, target species and good control the fish you’re fighting. Active fishing no siting and waiting for luck

    • @rockyshore-english
      @rockyshore-english Год назад

      Thank you for your comment. Yes, I think you have really good understanding what ISO fishing is. It is active fishing as you keep searching for the most potential spot and try to observe and interpret constantly changing environment.
