my god. Im a local Sabahan and all i have to say is not many people that i know have been to that island including myself. Certainly you guys are the ONLY FOREIGN RUclipsR who travelled and stayed there !!! Now thats AWESOME. That is the REAL TIP OF BORNEO off to the island. Cheers mate. Can't wait for your next video and stay with Sabah!!
Also recommended here in sabah : 1. kundasang 2. climb mount kinabalu 3. sepilok orangutan rehabilitation centre 4. sipadan island 5. borneo kellybays 6. mabul island 7. danum valley and many more.
The metrology department of Malaysia have issue a heat wave warning so do becarefull. I think allot of locals would probably stay indoor or at a waterfall in the jungle cause its cooler there.
I have been to Banggi and stayed there for a while. My take, it is important to always be careful around saltwater crocodiles, as they are usually more aggressive than freshwater crocodiles. Both of these crocodile species are commonly found on Banggi Island.
Also, sorry for the inconvenience when you bought the ticket. As a Sabahan myself, I can tell you, the local (particularly those living along the Sabah's coast) will take advantage of tourist. If you have a choice to reject any suspicious transactions, then do it.
Glad that you both enjoy your stay in sabah, by the way.. Harvest Festival is around the corner, if you are able to stay. There would be an event on 31st May
OHHHHH u finally come to my Area!! please visit THE TIP OF BORNEO too! (recommend around sunset, its beautiful there. bring your own snack just in case) great video btw and happy holiday
Mario, that haircut suits you really well man! You should keep that cut lol. That place looks beautiful btw! So glad you guys get to experience all of that together! Love from the U.S!
Remote tropical islands 🏝 very nice natural retreat 👍 but quite scary when find out that the river/estuary u guys crossing got saltwater crocodiles 😨..saltwater crocs in Sabah are ferocious...
Nice beach, esp the tip of the cove, conn to triangular island. But the white sand began to rot.. guess dirty water swept from some major cities to here.Maybe this why nobody feels likely to come.. not so clean water .?!?
Love u channel 😍 , im a sabahan myself never even travel enough to discover my own place thanks for letting me know about banggi island and what to do there , i would to go there if i have time hehe
I tried the Lingvist code and wouldn't work for me. Sent them an email so hopefully they can sort it out. Was so cool to see your adventures here. I have looked into staying at Bak Bak beach and some of the remote beaches in Kudat but didn't realise you can actually get over to Banggi Island as well. You guys are making my travel wish list too long haha.
Hi Mel, we're really sorry about that! We've also contacted them to solve this issue too so we will keep you updated. Another great spot not too far from bak bak is Tajau Laut guesthouse, we stayed there just after tammoyo place!
Sabah is paradise of seafood, super cheapp the only downside cost of traveling there way expensive that why mostly people in mainland end up in Thailand

Yeah we found the transport to be the most expensive so far in Malaysia
❤❤❤
Hike up Mount Kinabalu guys. It will test u mentally & physically.
hiking need months of practice... not easy😅
Yeah we would love to but didn't plan in advance, you have to book to do it because limited spaces. Maybe next time!

Be careful of salt water crocodiles. Always ask local.

Always!
Poring hot springs
Just watch out for jellyfish. These places have many records of jellyfish stings.
You should be careful when you in isolated beaches in Sabah. There are saltwater crocodiles
Mosquitoes??

Only around sunset or if it rains, but they provide a mosquito net and incense, best to take bug spray 🙂
