    This time we decided to explore the world’s third largest island... Borneo! Intrigued by its ancient equatorial rainforests, spectacular jungle wildlife, rich indigenous culture and culinary melting pot, we were looking for something wild - Borneo sure did not disappoint!
    Come on an adventure with us as we explore Sabah, the Malaysian part of Borneo. We discover untouched primary rainforests, where you feel like you are in the Jurassic lost world; catch a glimpse in the dense canopy of wildlife such as the endangered orangutang and the cartoon like proboscis monkey; learn about the heritage and old traditions of the Murut and the Kadazandusun tribes and admire the wide range of delicious cuisine of this magnificent island.
    In our track to spot wild Orangoutangs in Borneo, we decided to try our luck in the magnificent primeval jungle of the Danum Valley.
    And guess what! It felt like a dream! All nature lovers should not miss it, you will be in awe!
    This protected primary rainforest is one of the oldest in the world with an age of 130-million-year-old. It recognised as one of the most complex ecosystem where more than 100 scientists are still doing some research. And no wonder why! This enchanting arboreal fortress is home of multiple mind blowing creatures such as (non exhaustive list!): tarsiers, samba deers, flying squirrels, the cute red-leaf monkeys, the singing gibbons, the elusive clouded leopard, the feared king cobra and of course the fascinating Orangutang ..
    Did we have luck?
    Have a look! And let's get lost!

    Hi will, did you experience trouble getting your drone through customs or other problems related to drone use ?

    • @yourtravelbuddywill
      @yourtravelbuddywill  11 месяцев назад

      Hey buddy! At the time of the recording (2 years ago) there was no issue to go through customs with the drone. In some parks, I believe it’s not allowed to fly. Always ask the rangers! They’re usually relaxed

      Don’t be sorry buddy! To be honest, we’ve seen worst roads in other countries. Most of the road system is good in Borneo!
