- After 5 long months of furnishing, decorating, and redecorating, this apartment finally feels like ours 🥺 Drew basically gave me complete creative reign over this project, and I had so much fun (and so many melt downs) turning an empty unit into a home.
The modern finishes and open concept design of the space allows for a natural flow of light from two walls of south/west facing windows. It also made the space feel comfortable to us almost immediately, creating a golden effect on sunny days. Since we came into this from renting 1 bedroom units and furnished airbnb's, we were basically starting from scratch in the furniture department. After many long hours spent on Pinterest, I took inpso from modernism, rustic design, traditional bauhaus, and a Scandinavian aesthetic... So let me coin the term "modern earth tones" right here and now 👀
