Welcome to my apartment. It is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom located just 10 minutes south of Sydney CBD.
The apartment has an open plan layout with a total internal area of 84m2 and a north-facing balcony. I live here with my girlfriend and two other roommates who occupies the second bedroom and bathroom.
Furniture and pieces are a combination of midcentury modern, contemporary, and Scandinavian. I combine both affordable pieces along with a few designer pieces which I got mostly secondhand.
The color palette is mostly neutral (black and a little white) with warm wood tones (mostly oak), and greeneries.
There are decor items that don't serve functional purposes, so to some, it might not qualify as minimalist. However, they help inspire me creatively and are visually pleasing, hence I have a few of them sprinkled throughout the space. They are meant to add personality and visual interest into the space.

I routinely watch apartment tours/anything home decor related and this was by FAR the most organized, calming, and well put together video I've seen. Probably just be straight forward and a bit strict
When you live as neat as this, it becomes easy to see where everything belongs. There's a difference between an item having a random place in a drawer, and an item having a specific labeled place in a drawer. But you do need to live with people who have the same principles as yourself, when it comes to maintaining a home. You don't want to act like a dad or mom to your roommate, that's not fun for anyone.

I absolutely love the workstation setup. Especially tiny details like installing an under-the-table, out-of-sight drawer to avoid cluttering the table and achieving a 'clean' look. The whole decor was an organizer's dream come true.
You crushed it. Interior design is phenomenal. Love the minimalist clean modern/Scandinavian look. Both worlds combined together bring minimalism and warmth under one roof - integrating practicality and livability. Definitely will learn from this for my set up. thank you.

Best tour ever. Just straight down to the point. Not showing things, but only layouts. In addition, I like how you keep your home organized and cozy.
I still find it crazy how you can get two other roommates to keep your place so tidy and clean and get the layout/design you want. I can only see just a partner who has same mindset. So hats off to you sir! Having extra roommates ruined my life lol
Haha I am fortunate that the roommates are people I know. It also helps that I practically 'run the place' (they moved in a year after I've been here) so they don't have to furnish and spend on anything other than their own room. My gf also help set up some ground rules (washing dish after every meal, no trash in common places, etc.).
Of course, it is not as 'perfect' as in the video, but overall can't complain considering the cost savings and most days I'm the only one home :)

agreed! the only thing i just can't stand are the fake plants, and the brabantia trash can, that's inconvenient to open and close. it doesn't close by itself, you have to close it all the time - a pedal one would be so much easier :D
The first minimalistic appartment i would love to live in. Most others look like prisons, some of them doesn't have beds.

That was something that I noticed too. It was not too minimal. I enjoyed that he had everything he needed. Not only did he show us “what” he had, but we were told “why.” Again, thanks for a calm tour at just the right speed and volume. I loved the whole calm vibe which included him at the end of the day enveloped by a cozy blanket, chilling next to an amazing view. What a way to end the day!

I just discovered that I'm a minimalist and like organisation, so this for me, gets me excited to get my own place, though I'm still 16😂 can't help seeing my place like this. The lights and their settings are my favourite!! They just set the mood perfectly , and the plants just give a feeling of nature and coziness along with the wooden textures and very calm colours .. I LOVE LOVE LOOOVE!!!!

The apartment is well decorated and has cool gadgets, furniture etc.. but there is still has a lot of stuff in the living room. Arts, plants, dinning table and couch , together make the place look busy.

Thanks for subscribing! It's probably not as tidy as in the video on day to day basis. But my girlfriend helped set up some ground rules (put things back where it belong, wash dishes after every use, etc) which have massively helped.
