yup! whatever is metal on the real steel is metal on the high end guns, the only polymer parts are the parts on the real steel, like glocks, or other polymer grips. they are dead on!
The new stuff is amazing. esp the Gas operated stuff. they run on Propane and operate EXACTLY like the real steel (recoil is equal to a 22mag, or a soft 5.56) They even field strip in the same way.The automatic electric guns are nice as well, similar in function with less recoil, the only "unrealistic" part is some ppl use hicap mags holding 3-400 rounds, but mid and standard cap mags are out there. check out Scoutthedoggie vids here on youtube. thats a great example of what its like!
@Ballbuster319 Thats exactly why airsoft is so good. True, it is not the same as shooting real steel, but if you own guns, you know about the ammo crisis every couple of years. Airsoft takes place of this, and you practice drawstroke, trigger control and, yes, even recoil control. Training with airsoft is like training with .22s: you place higher standards, smaller targets and faster times to simulate the real thing. Not to mention reload practice. Everyone needs reload practice ;)
I have done something similar to ispc comp. all I can say is bring an airsoft pistol and a 1911 to a range XD the most you can train is sight picture and stance. Stance you don't adjust to what you fire xD. The stress being under fire is the same like what you imagine shooting at in comp. I love airsoft and all but the only way you can train with continuous fire in comp is on a range with your chosen caliber.
Because instead of actually having to use the iron sights and actually aim you just point the dot in the sight at the target. The difference in skill between the two is huge.
It takes the same amount of skill, lets look at your points: recoil, you simply adjust for different recoils, BB. .22 .357, all projectiles fired from a gun at varying rates of power and speed. Stance: again, you adjust depending on the type of projectile you are firing. Stress: do you mean competition stress or stress associated with being under fire for real? Competition is competition and the stress is the same. Being under fire for real is irrelevant to a video about competition shooting
can you choose your gun? then why are they all blowback? you would need no recoil, high fps to go from target to target faster, and I would fit laser sights.
GBB=single action (or SA/DA). GNB=double action (or DAO). The trigger is much more important than no recoil. GBB range is 35-45 meters, it's a lot more than you need at the competition.
I have both... for 20$ i get about 50 rounds with my real steel and i shoot paper or clay... with my As i get 20,000 rounds, and i shoot real people all day long! and i get trigger time with a gun that reacts, loads, and functions just like my Px4, and M556a1...
You don't adjust shooting rounds in levels every round is different as well as being in a different platform you shoot it in. Different pistol different round even different barrels and rounds in the same style all have a unique difference it's not whether it has more speed and power.
You are aware that its aloud with a license in america right? its legal to open carry in New Mexico Alaska and few other states. And if you know your rights you can't get arrested for open carrying?
@Ballbuster319 wat the hell this is just a game and sport just because they aren't shooting real guns dosent mean there bad shots there pretty good shots
Guy on the left at 2:44 is holding the gun closer to his chest rather than in a "proper" stance. Would never work with a real pistol but since the bb has less recoil it actually gives him and advantage.
I'm not trying to hate or anything, but this barley takes any skill compared to real firearms. I mean gbb pistols barley have any recoil at all, plus they're using red dots and everything
I'm not saying that you are trying to bash airsoft i'm saying that you can adjust for the power associated with different calibers and different recoils, why couldn't you? They do train because it is cheaper and everything is the same, loading of mags, racking the slide, aiming through the sights, same weight, you can use the same stance, the same grip, same advancing, retreating, breaching techniques (for doorways and such) you can even safely practice firing at someone, no brainer really...
Not that i hate this or have anything against it, buy whats the difference between this and real steel shooting? Why not do real steel shooting? Nothing against thing aight?
+nalBleeding ok, it was good timing that you guys told me this because in the Philippines elections are up now and gun ban just arise for 6 months. So imma start doing this now. Thanks guys 🙂
Like Ethan not trying to hate, but this nearly takes any skill compared to real handgun competition. First, recoil. Second, under stress. Third, posture which includes the stance, grip, and arm placement. 80% of the contestants here wouldn't be able to shoot real firearms in their posture and handgun positions. Credentials ? Well you can hop on my channel for my sks video demonstrating recoil control on a SKS 7.62x39 with usgi and magpul dynamics grip
haha look man I wasn't trying to bash airsoft. I'm just saying it's not a matter of adjusting from airsoft to real steel grips stances guns will stay relatively the same but for every caliber is a different feel and you can't train with one and use another and this "adjust" doesn't kick in... the Police I reckon does not train with airsoft as much as you think it nor the Armed forces of the us. They use milsim rounds which fire the actual cartridge or use live ammo in a killbox..
I'm glad you're such an expert on everything... where would the internet be without people like you?
where can i find more of these comp videos? it is filmed really nice and pleasant to watch.
Wow, people are very supportive!
this is like the special olympics for guns
Feel sorry for that kid and his jams
yup! whatever is metal on the real steel is metal on the high end guns, the only polymer parts are the parts on the real steel, like glocks, or other polymer grips. they are dead on!
that was awsome bro more videos please thanks :D
When that poor kid's gun jammed.
That guy with the red dot is good
but the guys with the reflex are faster because they got faster target acquisition, the guys with the iron sights are awesome
pew pew pew pew pew after 10 shots, Ding!
Spray and pray was a competition even back in 2009. Nice.
ZeroG84 - even in IDPA or USPSA it’s spray and pray.
The guy on the right almost had it... rocking the iron sights whole time too
Very cool ! where would i find more info on this kind of shooting
challenge? whats the most common pistol is used?
The new stuff is amazing. esp the Gas operated stuff. they run on Propane and operate EXACTLY like the real steel (recoil is equal to a 22mag, or a soft 5.56) They even field strip in the same way.The automatic electric guns are nice as well, similar in function with less recoil, the only "unrealistic" part is some ppl use hicap mags holding 3-400 rounds, but mid and standard cap mags are out there. check out Scoutthedoggie vids here on youtube. thats a great example of what its like!
wow feel sorry for the kid whos gun jammed and the backup to!
Nice shooting!
02:25 DQ. Gun safety
And it seems his approach was very effective
you have to remember what it is the toy version of. It should be treated like a real fire arm.
Where can I buy high quality targets like these?
I wonder how bad slide bite would be with some of those airsoft pistols
Bro, do you have a tutorial to build the targets? Nice work! Awesome iniciative!
There was no specific order to engage certain targets in one area. They did have to follow the course properly in order to qualify. I hope that helps!

wow. how many power its neaded for konk down a silhuete vith AIRSOFT pistol?? metal silhuete!
Because instead of actually having to use the iron sights and actually aim you just point the dot in the sight at the target.
The difference in skill between the two is huge.
?????
the kid in the cap got yolofied

Can anyone tell what type of pellets they are using? Steel on steel or plastic?
Guy in plain grey sweat shirt is good
Super duper
It's there a pattern they're always supposed to shoot? I saw everyone hit the low ones first.
quickattack - looked kind of a free shoot. Pick your pattern.

Visit our Website and see what guns interest you or go into one of our 4 locations and speak to our staff.

IS there a FPS limit?
good

fun
eeh i realized left side always win
nice video but some let the nerves get to them making them get really bad shots :P
like come on man,the last match if the guy didnt have a red dot on,he'd be toast.
Its unfair pitting Iron sights against Red dots
because we can =^)
Seru kali
Are they real guns or not
You are aware that its aloud with a license in america right? its legal to open carry in New Mexico Alaska and few other states. And if you know your rights you can't get arrested for open carrying?
Putting red-dots up against iron sights and open class guns against defensive ones?
Someone hasn't been studying class types clearly.
I could do this with my spring pistol.
@Ballbuster319 wat the hell this is just a game and sport just because they aren't shooting real guns dosent mean there bad shots there pretty good shots
To bad airsoft shooter don't handle their guns in a safe manner.
big kids with a toy guns :D
Toy Guns? hahaha Try getting hit by the smallest caliber anywhere.
Toy guns. Even if I hit your eye with Lego, it hurts, nevertheless, it still remains a toy ;)
Non Blowback KJW ruger would be good 400 fps
I hope the girl at 2:25 was disqualified for pointing her gun at the dude to her left!!!!
I agree with you, it was a real firearm !!!
She should had, but with that ass, nobody said anything
+Rodrigo Cirilo lol no it was a toy

+TheGaming Lard trust me i can pop your eyes out with those toys and i'm good with it.
SOMEBODYS USIN DOUBLE TAP :D
bro that was a cam lol, and they are gbb not real steel
Guy on the left at 2:44 is holding the gun closer to his chest rather than in a "proper" stance. Would never work with a real pistol but since the bb has less recoil it actually gives him and advantage.
look closer his handgun has a stock. that's why he's holding it with a rifle grip
I wanna be on that im a pretty good shot
who cant own a gun? any one of age can own a gun with a clean record of course.
@ 7:24 why this dude should stick to airsoft and never step foot in a live fire shooting competition.
at least there not chairsofters lol
I'm not trying to hate or anything, but this barley takes any skill compared to real firearms. I mean gbb pistols barley have any recoil at all, plus they're using red dots and everything

f hi Thursday 0
the
Because this is what I put in my backyard cause of my unfriendly gun neighbors... That's awesome but yeah I do 3 gun too.
Sight picture gentlemen. Sight picture... No sense in shooting if there isn't anything there...
My grandma could be good with a red dot
blow back "recoil" has not realistic effects when discharging these toys.
