brianmayforreal : We WILL Rock You !!! - again - given half a chance !!! 😉 Micro Moment #11. This is the riff I get asked about most often. It gets that strange ‘clang’ to it because I’m playing a high ‘A major’ chord as a ‘bar’ on strings 2, 3 and 4, way up at the octave position, but the A-string is not fretted - it’s left behind at the bottom sounding a low open ‘A’. So you get that ‘interference’ between the harmonics of the component notes. Especially with the amp turned up into distortion, as here. I’m not hitting the bottom ‘E’ at all. When we first recorded this, I was determined to break all the rules. Including putting the solo at the end of the song instead of somewhere in the middle ! And having no drums !!! Funny - ironically it became a drum favourite - which makes me very happy ! But the stamps and claps became a trade-mark. Here you can hear the guitar with NOTHING else !!! Cheers ! Bri Via Brian May

Yeah. I love him because you know that he can play extremely difficult solos and stuff but also he doesn't play them unless he feels like they're the best addition to the sound of the song. Also, he just seems like a nice guy

Greatest riff everrrr...it stops then u count 1-2..I've paid my dues, time after time...I swear when I was a kid 1976-77 my longtime friend and I fought verbally that rocks u and champions were 1 big song like borap...it took us until we had enough loot to buy the album with frank the robot looking psycho that we knew....yes I was wrong...my friend still ribs me atleast everytine we hear it played...great laugh GYMORMUS HIT WED BREAK OUR SPEAKERS ON THAT 1 BRIAN MADE-WE WILL ROCK.U...THANK U QUEEN-YOUR 1 OF THE FEW GREAT THINGS THAT STILL REMAIN FOR ME & OTHERS JIM SURE...LOL

While I was just a little girl, QUEEN was QUEEN!!! I had to much older siblings, but my dad was a totally normal father for his time, thus no "Gay" music was aloud in our house. BUT our neighbor's across the street had no such limitations. In 84 I was 6 years old and already a hardened fan of Queen. Then my parents were Devorced in 91 and I watched them on TV.
With my first salary I bought my first work clothes and the 3 CD QUEEN Gold album.
Obviously now my husband and I are both fans and I think if it was possible to time travel we would've put all our savings in to watch QUEEN live at Wembley.
He knows that when we drive somewhere and a QUEEN song sttarts to immediately crank up the stereo in the Vehicle so that I can go full throttle on my QUEEN fix!
Just a final comment, Brian May! I LOVE YOU!!! In my opinion as a music lover from classical to Heavy Metal, there is just a few people I would have on my top 5 Guitarists list, but there shall always be Brian May at Number ONE!
