Is there anyway you could let me know where you got the locker parts? I'm doing something like that, but I used BOCCA bearings. I JB weld the center diff.
@ILLhai Racing 23 - Thank you! if the slop is because of the play between dogbone and cup, pleased check this video @ 9:22, ruclips.net/video/xm3uKnyRKJ4/видео.html
@@illhairacing3543 - I would try the tubing first, that's going to take the play from the hub and I would also check the set screw in the hub thats holding the pin, might be loose. Putting a shim could cause binding. Let me know how it goes.
@@RCPASS1 by the way I speak from experience when I put my spools in I didn't do that I had to buy new spur gears for them LOL have a great day be safe man keep the videos coming !
@Mike s - You will notice the difference, there is no play on the drive system, nothing to give way except a failure. Also take your time to get used it when you install them, don't lock the brakes at high speed s.
@@RCPASS1 thank u. Im doing a real nice limitless gt build now.. going to try first with the 500k frint and rear ..then do diff lockers later to see the difference.
@Travis Drury - the bearings are sealed but I found this that might help with your question. Q: Do full ceramic bearings need lubrication? A: No, full ceramic bearings can be run completely dry. They do not need lubrication to run. Ceramic is non-porous, unlike steel, as a result it is virtually frictionless. Ceramic also dissipates heat very quickly, which is the same reason they use it on the underside of the space shuttle. Because there is no heat buildup and virtually no friction, full ceramic bearings can be run completely dry. They can be cleaned out with regular tap water or any cleaner, they are impervious to corrosion and can operate in a vacuum environment.
@Franco Limon - Most efficient way to capture all the energy to the drive system, AWD all the time, no diff to give way. I hope that helps, thank you for watching.
@Bryes H Photography - Most efficient way to capture all the energy to the drive system, AWD all the time, no diff slipping. I hope that helps, thank you for watching.
Ceramic Bearings on the car make a difference, on the spool full Ceramic Bearings don't work, they can't handle the RPM and vibration. Thanks for watching!
@@RCPASS1 Which bearings did you end up going with for the spool, if the ceramic ones ended up not being good enough for the job? ...and where else did you use the ceramic bearings that helped improve car performance? Great videos btw! I just got my Arrma Infraction v2...trying to eliminate all fast wearing, failing, stock parts.
@JAHbyDesiGn - Ended up using Fast Eddy Ceramic bearing kit, they are hybrid but is night and day the way the car rolls. For the spool full metal hybrid. Thanks for the support, I appreciate it 👍👊
That spool flows nice son
Great looking car
@Cmw Speed run Uk - Thank you, much appreciated!!!
what would a lock diff do differently on the infraction? like what would the performace difference be rather than an open diff?
Great Video! Very informative...
Thank you, much appreciated!
Awesome upgrades
@Island RC Duke - Thank you! Much appreciated.
One other question the diff gears not the stock sizes are they ? if not y different size
@Michael condrey The front and rear diff gears are stock, the V2 brings a better ratio for speed runs than the V1.
Is there anyway you could let me know where you got the locker parts? I'm doing something like that, but I used BOCCA bearings. I JB weld the center diff.
@Khris Yeet - I got the lockers from ebay, my only advice is to buy longer set screws for the center locker. Bocca sells great bearings!
Looks great man I was wondering how would i go about taking slop of my rear left side wheel on my felony?

@@RCPASS1 I will thanks
Cause Idk if I should put a shim inside the rear hubs because there is slop on the tires meaning when you wiggle them back and forth

You didn't shim the spool and check the lash between the input gear and the spool
@Derek Smith - I checked and there was no need for shims, thanks for the heads up. 👍

Those cups look super beefy, where did you get those?

I'm thinking of trying them out in my bashing build. I'm curious of how they handle. I believe King hobby based in NYC.

Do you put cap packs in your builds
@SmashGear RC - yes, for speedrun cars
@@RCPASS1 which cap pack you use and do you have a video doing an install of it

what caliper was that
@MrDwight107 regular digital caliper from harbor freight, I used the bottom end to measure both sides even.
