I bought mine before they came out with the TORO. Last week I bought the TORO slide and a Sig Romeo red dot. Will be taking it the range next week to sight it in for my carry gun.
I love the trigger on this gun. I carry this full time. This gun is a shooter!! You nailed alot of good points. The trigger is awesome the grip texture is fantastic . I bought the mag extension from Taurus and it made it just that much better!
Great review pew pew nation. I noticed the GX4 didn't lock open several times. I've heard mixed reviews on the Riton MPRD. How has yours held up? How's the battery life? Is it your EDC? Looking for a quality compact edc with a quality red dot pre installed with co-witness so i don't have to go searching for the red dot like i do currently wo co-witness using adapter plate on a Taurus G2C & the ADE red dot.
Most pistols don't lock open when I shoot them because of my very high grip that rides most slide stops. As far as the Riton, I have not had any issues with them at all.
Do you know what model that Riton dot is? I was looking at the XL and for like 60$ more you can get one with that RDS which makes me think it’s a pos lol.

Got mine yesterday, and got my 13 round mag today. I can’t wait to get to the range this coming weekend. Should be fun.

Bought the gun for 269, bought the Toro upgrade barrel and optic for 199.
Does the riton red dot come with correct/proper screws to mount on the gx4 toro or do I need to order some? Thanks in advance
I believe I used the factory screws that came with the dot.

This takes an RDSC model. The specific one is is the Riton 3 Tactix MPRD2

How well does the red dot co-witness? Full/ 1/2 or 3/4?
Its barely 1/4. Just enough to see the sights without intruding on sight window.
