Hi Will. It depends on what you want to do with the tires. I would recommend the following tires - fast to Slower rank. Sort of Vitour P1 - the fastest before used slicks. Nankang CRS V2 or AR-1 RE71RS Toyo RR Maxxis RC1 Supercar3 AO52 and SC3R are fast too but low $/performance. Same pace as P1 or slightly faster. For lapping days. I would stay with V730s. I have done 2 seasons with the AR-1 and I use them for lapping days and TT. I take care of the tires and they last a long time. A lot of data out there that you can use. Also it depends on your driving style too.
I went to the toyo rr from the nto1. What is your spring rate and camn=ber up front. Tons of tread on that tire that did not get used. Do you flip them on the rims? I had issue with inside wear and the shop out me on much stiffer springs and that evened out my wear
How many track days did you get out of the NT01? What are your camber settings? I have NT01 on my e92 M3, I just fitted them and only done one track day but I've always loved these tires and used them on my old e36 M3 track car. They aren't the fastest but I go out to have fun laps and not set PB's all the time so it's a good tire for longevity and grip. A lot of people seem to love the RE71-RS though.
@@WillsGarageOfficial Thanks! I'll try something like that. 1/16 toe in - is that total toe or per side? 1/16 total is close to OEM spec (.18 degree) whereas 1/8 total is quite a bit (.36 degree)
I suggest V730, dry grip and longevity makes it worth it. Want to try CRS next though.
Looks like so much fun!!!
Incredibly fun and addictive!
Nangang CRS 285 square,
Your car is more prep than mine. Your car will benefit from it.
Thank you. CRS and RE-71RS seem to be very popular.

Hey Will I'm a Bay area BMW fan. Own an E39M5. Any suggestions on clubs or meetups to check out ?
good lap, what other tire have you tried?

I lost count but I think it was about 7-8days. Would've lasted longer if I didn't drive on it to and from the track.
will, we have the same M5. did you sell yours already? I still have mine
@@emersonmuyco9245 I still have the M5. Driving it everyday and loving it.
How is the cf driveshaft treating you? Really getting close to ordering.
It’s great. Doing what it’s supposed to so far. No regrets.
Wgat is causing that whine? Is that the diff bushings?
Yes. Car has solid diff bushings.
@@WillsGarageOfficial same car here debating going full track mode or not. What stiffess are they?
@@acsbimmer They're solid aluminum. Get poly or derlin bushings if you street drive the car. Solid bushings are unbearable on the street.

Front: -3.5, zero toe. Rear: -2.0, 1/16 toe in.
