Big props to Chris for doing this entire trip with an infant
Ami will cherish these videos, so good!
And his wife!!!
@@Nonfiction79 I went to DW with my GF and that was tough enough. I can't imagine doing an entire roadtrip ending at DW with an infant and vlogging it all to boot. That's like superpowers level impressive.
She definitely cranked up the difficulty level to the max
@@AirtimeThrills I can imagine! But glad you guys had a great trip!
maybe it’s just me but i really enjoy your vlogs more than other coaster youtubers. they’re so uncut & genuine+ sophie’s added commentary is always appreciated. keep them coming!
Has to be my number 2 favorites behind coaster idiots
Agreed
honestly fr, I want to see way more of these!! I'd donate to a Patreon if he has one
same
So true!
Amy has been a star of the vlog. Sophie is getting more and more comfortable in front of the camera
I remember when Sophie rode her first looping coaster, she grew up so fast!
Yup almost 3 years ago now
@@AirtimeThrills Dang girl has more credits than I do, hahahah.
Chris missed the best dad joke ever.
With Amy at Epcot, he could've said she was speechless after asking her if she liked it
This vlog is giving me crazy nostalgia! I’m really hyped to come back this year and I’m definitely more of a Disney GP than you- trust me
I cant imagine anyone being more disney gp than me
I’m a coaster enthusiast who watches all your videos, but also someone who will choose the Disney parks (TN resident passholder) to casually go visit because of the ability to show up and simply enjoy the atmosphere. It was so refreshing to sit back and watch a Disney Vlog that was just someone enjoying their day instead of someone trying to force a storyline out of a day (guilty on our channel). Though, that Simpsons better than FoP opinion 😅
DESPITE THAT OPINION, thanks for all the awesome work! Content is HARD, and you’re pumping out great stuff! Keep it up!
I knew as I said Simpsons > FOP I would be burned at the stake for it
Great video as always 👍🏼 I appreciate you sharing your trips and family with us coaster enthusiasts. You have a beautiful family and I enjoy watching your videos for your opinion, tricks and tips for getting through the parks. Thanks you 👍🏼😎👍🏼
Honestly I might miss Epcot being the less crowded park. Now that Disney is so crowded and stressful, getting shitfaced around the World Showcase has generally become the highlight of my Disney trips. That, and lapping Mission Space. My cousin works at Epcot so I'm sure I'll be down there to get the credit soon enough but hopefully the park keeps some of its laid back atmosphere.
Hard to say what the least crowded park was during my 4 day trip. Either Epcot or AK. Both were still slammed
I’m stuck in bed with Covid and just found your channel. Disney is so sentimental to me and I’m really finding my self super emotional watching another family embrace theme parks the way we did when our kids were growing up. I’m a grammie now and can’t wait to do it all over again with my grandkids, but also absolutely have embraced theme parking as a 52 year old. What a beautiful family, thanks for sharing with this emotional old lady stuck in bed tonight!!
Sophie and Amy are beautiful! Glad you all had such an amazing time. Great vlog!
Being a huge Disney parks buff, this was really fun to see you enjoy my favorite parks! Thanks for the fun vlog!
Hi Chris, been following you for a couple of years now, along with some other coaster channels, you all are fantastic. I live in Australia so we don't have access to what you have, hence great videos!! Thanks for your in depth videos and rankings, you really know your stuff. Keep up the great work.
Your kiddos are so adorable! I can't wait to take my kiddos to Disney in a couple years! Awesome video!
Great video! It's great you had a good time! It sure rained and thunderstormed there a lot. That's one thing you don't have too worry about at Disneyland. Some of the rides broke down a good bit. I guess that's okay though.
Great vlog man! Keep up the good work!!
This video was really heart warming and nice to see!!! Sophie reminds me of my niece Ileen and shes becoming a little coaster enthusiasts too!!
So I would love a video on what your experience with the park reservations, genie plus and lightning lane was like. I hear everything from it’s amazing to it’s garbage and a pain in the butt and makes you stare at your phone all day. Where do you come down on all the new systems you have to deal with? And what was your experience getting into restaurants??
Ill talk about this either in its own video or in my park ranking video
It took me half a day to get used to it and yeah it is a lot of phone time trying to figure out ur next move
The thing is even with fastpass+ you still had your face glued to your phone
You should definitely do a ranking of your favorite Disney rides (coasters and non-coaster combined). Great vlog! I went in May and instantly loved almost everything there!
I'm gonna rank the coasters and then the non-coasters in separate videos. I tried to ride all the best stuff at each park but missed a few
While I have no desire to visit Disney, I enjoyed your showcase of the Walt Disney World complex. I loved the transitions.
Great trip and another quality video. Can’t wait for the Daddy/Daughter ranking list!
Wow, faint praise for Cosmic Rewind.... I was so intent on riding it that I bought a lightening lane for the first time in my life and since we also got into the virtual que line I got to ride it twice! It's easily the best dark coaster I've ever ridden and a top 5 coaster of all types.
Yay! So glad y’all had a great trip!
For rookies you did pretty well. I love how real your videos are they feel so genuine. Looks like you all have fun which in the end is the whole point of going. Until you come home and see your credit card bill.
This was a fun watch for me as a fan of your channel, coaster enthusiast, and Disney Cast Member that loves Disney Parks. We have a few differing opinions for sure but they're always fun to hear, although The Simpsons being called a better simulator than Flight of Passage was the most offensive to me haha. Cosmic Rewind I have ranked number 8 out of my 109 credits in between Fury 325 and The Beast, I absolutely adore it. One Way or Another is easily the best song with the ride, although I enjoy all the songs a lot except for Disco Inferno. Cosmic Rewind is also drastically better in rows 5-10. Also I love Epcot and the ride's story tying into the park makes me very happy. I could go all day about Disney World though. Excited to see your follow up content on it!
Oh yeah i have 4 videos lined up based on this trip
So glad you had a great trip! I completely agree with your Thunder Mountain take, that thing is awesome!!
Awesome vid!!! I'm glad you had a blast with the fam! I got that same Kennywood shirt, but mine is Black. Woot Woot!
Of all the parks, Epcot is my favorite because I'm an architecture and history nerd and the World Showcase has all that, plus dining. I'm also a fan because my USA soccer Crush, Alex Morgan is famous for her Epcot experience lol, and I like to party like her too!
Here's an architecture tidbit. Cinderella's castle looks wat taller than the 189 ft that it is. It's because of a design called "Forced Perspective" which makes smaller objects larger than it appears. In this instance, Disney makes the building look giant by making the top features thinner than the bottom ones.
Awesome video!!!
I visited Animal Kingdom during Covid reduced guest admission. We did every attraction by 3:30 PM. I doubt I'll ever go back and wait 60-90 minutes for attractions, or pay the ridiculous up charge for the new fast pass.
Space Mountain is underrated. It has a surprising amount of airtime for a Disney coaster.
Hey, this was a great review of WDW- refreshing too!! 😀
20:13 the cutest thing I've ever seen
Hahaha Amy is so cute 🥰 that Bueller comparison made me lol
Sophie now officially has more credits than me. Awesome job!
Seven Dwarfs IS a poor copy of Big Thunder! Thanks for agreeing with me! (Congratulations on getting out of the park WHILE the fireworks were on! Smart family!)
Back row of Space Mountain has so much ejector airtime!
Dang, we got front 2 seats
glad you had fun! Disney is a great place for kids and the coasters are decent for what it is. fun fact there use to be a wild mouse in AK. it was a crossed from Dinosaur and had a cheesy dino theme as well. it got quietly closed for cost during pandemic.
Yeah i was wondering where that ride was. That whole dino section is kinda weird and out of place
@@AirtimeThrills the theory online is that is had low ridership and was made by a nobody that went out of business ages ago so therefore parts were super hard to get. between the two and the lack of riders in covid time it got closed along with a stich ride that was on its last legs to. the hope is that a replacement will get announced (plus a area refresh) at the D23 expo in sept.
@@AirtimeThrills I never rode it, but it was notoriously bad and generally not missed when they tore it out.
Hearing you praise Space Mountain made me remember how much fun I had marathoning it 25 times in 3 days back in 2018
I’m a native Floridian living in Orlando. I love your channel. Thanks for visiting “my” parks, it’s weird after watching so many of your videos of parks I’ve never been to, suddenly I recognize everything. 😂
My favorite family vlogger 💖
I was there this last June for the 50th anniversary. It was awesome getting to ride all the new rides while revisiting some old favorites (my first visit was in 1996 for the 25th Anniversary).
just visited for the first time right before Cosmic Rewind opened🤦♂️. still very fun though! flight of passage and RotR were some of the best experiences of my life!
Sophie has a point about reriding Everest. That's mostly all I did when I went to Animal Kingdom. We went as Pandora was opening, so the rest of the park was quite literally empty. Everest had a 15 mimute wait ALL DAY, with a 5 MINUTE WAIT in the morning! Me and my sister marathoned it all day, breaking for food, bathroom, and to do our fastpasses for Flight of Passage and Navi River Journey (which were both brand new at the time!). I think we got like 25 rides!
Amy's gonna think Fury 325 is lacking forces, I bet you all
My first looping coaster was Tower Of Terror at Camelot. I miss that janky old park.
Looking forward to Sophie’s and your rankings!
Last September we rode Rise of Resistance 3x in one day without any reservations. Awesome ride.
I loved taking my kids to Disney. And I also have the same Zippin Pippin shirt!
Been loving the vlogs 🙂 Can’t wait to see more, which parks are in the cards for the near future?
Next trip will be Texas on labor day weekend. Ill at least vlog SFFT
@@AirtimeThrills hopefully this time the wind doesn’t do it’s thing and close everything
I was the guy who setup your rider swap at Thunder Mountain! It was a fun surprise.
Rock n roller coaster is legitimately great, I loved it my first time and after four years of being away from it I got back on it pretty certain I had overrated it but I had just as much fun the second time. Great choice for a kiddo’s 150th coaster in my opinion
Man, I'm so jealous of how much of a trooper Amy is. My son, who turns 2 in late September, would've been a nightmare lol.
We definitely have to manage her lol...we capture her good moments on camera
1:06-The Real Star of the Video Amy
Love the Kennywood T-shirt!!
Chris, I’m a Disney pro 3x over, and I’ll be making my fourth trip there next year, with my infant son. Also, my name is Christopher so we got that in common too! I’m looking forward to my fourth time. Great video!
I watch every one of your video's Chris...
If you want airtime, you have to go to Europe! Try Kondaa, Taron, Untamed, Hyperion, Ride to Happiness and Expedition G-Force ;-)
Tron looks great! Love to ride that some day... I've ridden the prototype at Toverland in the Netherlands: Boosterbike!
Big Thunder Mountain at Disneyland Paris is the best!
85 minutes actually isn’t that bad for Flight of Passage, especially in summer! Wonderful ride!
If you can get your knees up with Space Mountain's odd T-Bar restraints, you can get some classic janky Arrow ejector on some drops and transitions!
I love your vlogs
What an awesome trip. My family did this exact park order a few months ago.
Any reason for this park order? I based it on the coasters i wanted to ride the most. Cosmic rewind, then everest, then the 2 at HS
@@AirtimeThrills it was my wife’s idea. Our kid has autism so I think she wanted to ease him into the rides.
I think Disney violated the Geneva Conventions regarding torture when they built It’s A Small World.
Rock n roller coaster was my first looping coaster… my parents said it went upside down only once and it really didnt 😭
Sophie legit the best part of this channel
I got “Let it go” stuck in my head, thanks a lot for that! Haha
Listening to this on the way to Kings Island for my 3rd time
I was just on Guardians Of The Galaxy last month and me and my mom loved it.
People think I'm crazy because I love Dinosaur! That ride scares the crap out of me and it's just so wild
I'm a fan of Dinosaur too. It's actually pretty intense. And it seems to be kind of overlooked so the lines aren't the worst. The biggest problem is that since it has a low height limit and involves dinosaurs, little kids go on it and it scares the bejesus out of them.
I thought it was okay but it's track clone Indiana Jones is just so much better themed IMHO.
I wasnt expecting anything from it so i was thrilled with it
You should do a video of the different track designs and track design progression of the major manufacturers, namely Vekoma, Intamin (and how B&M basically used Shockwave’s design), and you should cover the “Jetline” coaster in Grona Lund in Swede. What is going on with that track design??
I love watching content from this channel. I’d click on anything you upload. Different from the rest.
My 7yo daughter LOVED Everest when we did WDW last year.
Saw your wife finally for a quick sec, She's lovely! Tell her she should make an appearance sometime. Beautiful family!
Aw sweet, bonus footage at 2:20 - I wonder what it will be? [a few seconds later] …dang it.
On a side-note, it’s trippy knowing that, back in 2004, a daily ticket to Disney cost $42. The closest I’ve ever gotten to the Disney experience was Disney Springs back in 2021.
I saw the Jungle Book showing of Kite Tails. The kites in both shows are supposed to crash like that during the show.
Also, I am kinda surprised you didn't mention the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular over at Disney's Hollywood Studios when you were there.
I've been to WDW for over 15 years now and I'm going back there in 10 days and I am getting PUMPED!
Back row of big thunder yonks you. And has some decent airtime.
Love the t in Magic Kingdom!
Why you have to get the small world soundtrack stuck in my head 😭, kidding, great video
Big fan of your content, not a Big fan of the OU hat lol. Obviously I’m a biased Texas fan though. Either way, great video. Very informative. I’m taking my 7 and 3 year old in September to Disney world for a week. Same trip as your essentially, all four parks.
I’d love to hear a more thorough review and tips on Disneyworld as as whole form you. Like I said big fan. Keep it up. Hook’em 🤘🏻lol
Sweet Kennywood shirt bro! What’s better guardians or Hagrids? I like guardians better but I like those movies a lot more…
and the front gate to the magic kingdom is a larger version of the one that used to be a Geuaga Lake
The front gate of Magic Kingdom is a bigger version of Disneyland's front gate, which has been replicated by many parks around the world. Actually many parks around the world have some sort of Disneyland rip-off, even the Town Square at the Great America parks (which are not exactly at the front of the park) is based off the front of Disneyland & town square area.
okay so every coaster at disney i just love but the biggest soft spot i have.... barnstormer first coaster ever
If you ride Tower of terror with tons of slack in the seatbelt you'll float all the way to the ceiling its awesome. Also Florida TOT 100% has stronger forces then Mission Breakout. Mission Break is awesome though and feels like a party. I love both of them!
I love the party feel of mission breakout more than i should
So you may know this already, but the Patrick from Soarin’ is Patrick Warburton, who does Joe Swanson on Family Guy. He was in a few other Disney works too
That actually sounds like a good idea when visiting Disney world
Did you ride Gran Fiesta Tour when you went to Epcot?
I've been waiting on you to come here in Hope's of saying hello while I'm at work. Mayne next time.
A weird fact i found out in epcot is that their is a model of my grandma's childhood home Wutsberg, Germany.
Thanks for all the great videos. I’m looking to do a similar trip with my family where we hit multiple Orlando area theme parks. I’m trying to figure our where we would stay and how best to get around. Did you stay on Disney property, off property hotel, VRBO? Rental car? For Busch Gardens and Universal, did you buy 1 day tickets, multi-day tix? What do you recommend? Thanks.
We drove to florida and stayed off property at the springhill suites. We got 4 day passes for 1 park a day
For busch we have sea world platinum passes. Universal last year we did both parks in 1 day but i wouldn't recommend that
You going to try the Orlando star flyer?
Nice shirt!
When I rode GOTG Cosmic Rewind, 1st ride The song I got was “One way or Another” and my second ride I got “everyone wants to rule the world”, it’s one of the most rerideable roller coasters in my opinion
Everybody *wants
I had no idea it was different every time til my wife and sophie got off and said they got Gloria estefan
@@AirtimeThrills conga is the worst I’ve gotten it 9 times now
True
Yeah, Space Mountain at the Magic Kingdom is kind more like Disneyland's Matterhorn, just with a space theme, as it has two sides as well. Due to it's popularity they brought it to Disneyland as well, but made some changes due to lack of space, and well, that park already had the Matterhorn, so it's more it's own ride, than a copy of an existing one, a weird history for sure.
Really interesting
21:58: good thing I'm not watching this video right before bed
You have introduced me to so many top quality parks, I feel disappointed and sad that the disney standards have gone so far downhill, especially for your first family trip.
rock n roller coaster was my first looping coaster
I went to cp and dang it is insane the top 3 are all soooooo good but i wish dragster and valravn were open
mah-ey-wah, mah-ey-wah, mah-ey-wah 😤🎶
Space Mountain is still one of my favorite coasters tbh
I agree, tons of airtime on those drops. For such an old coaster they really nailed the drops on it.
This vlog reminded me why I’ll never go to Disney world during the summer again ever
Dinosaur is underrated and also my brother works entry at WDW now
