I've recently been pretty hooked to Sly & The Family Stone (Their music oughta be able to wake up the dead). All music is great as long as you get it ;)
I saw Goldfrapp open for Duran Duran, I didn't know anything about them before the show and enjoyed it a lot, have listened since. She's definitely talented

I had the pleasure of seeing Sly and Robbie with Black Uhuru and Burning Spear back in the day. Vibes!!! Funny enough after your Saturday download my thoughts were of Argentina and of hope, put on some Juana Molina it made me smile. Just ordered her Juana Molina "ANRMAL" Live on vinyl. Past Masters is a great buy! I only have it on CDs but I still enjoy playing it....nice pickups, well thought out buys, you know what I’m saying,, no knee jerk buys...later D👋🏻
I don't support the idea of record store day but I support my friend's record shop and they were having an anniversary sale that coincided with RSD. I walked away with 3 vinyls and 6 CDs for 70 bucks. 😊
Hi Dereck, the prices for vinyl here in germany are much higher. I bought a bunch of „cheap“ records in the US like soundtracks, Wes Montgomery, Chet Atkins and even Laurel & Hardy.🙂
Glad you had a good set. I picked up 2 Bill Evans records at RSD... The Japanese pressing of Bill Evans "Consecration Immortal" was $50 but not worth it. Seems like they cut off the last songs on both sides before they were finished. The mono version of "Everybody loves Bill Evans" is a great pressing. Thanks for sharing.
I went record shopping today for first time in six months. I pocked up last years Slowdive, and Felix Pappalardi And Creation! Our new turntable will be serviced in May sometime. Needle drops incoming.

I recently bought Betty Davis albums but I can’t find the Columbia years album. Maybe it will get a reissue. I enjoy her albums.

that Spoonfed Hybrid was the absolute TOP of my RSD list, which was 2 releases long! so happy to see this re-issued!!

The only thing i found at record store day was a live Thin Lizzy album. The song Rosalie is on it though coincidentally. Cheers
