I can’t get my old fabric out. It seems like the tubing is stuck inside the groove, as if it’s glued in. Any tips to help me to slide it out please?

Did not tie the arms carefuly so when it suddenly streched out, it hit me hard. As tied arms are very tensed, it's dangerouse. The video itself is svery good. Thanks.
