    Shaderunner, love the look of this product, do we have this in Canada? We do have Shade sails, love them , cooleroo blinds on all our windows.

      I’m looking for a shade not just to protect from the sun in a pool, but also to keep heaps of leaves, fruits, flowers and twigs out of the pool from the many trees around me.

      Obviously not 15 years of uninterrupted study, but I see your point. Lots of ways to do the same thing and trade offs to consider. Ease of use beat affordability by deciding to use all those stainless steel blocks (pulleys). Check out their cost at a marine products store, where they are sold for using on sailboats.
