Chris first I want to say you have the best an most informative videos of All professional anglers. Second your tuna tigers video was pure pleasure to watch. I live in Cape Vincent, Again thanks
Wow, best How to on Punching, I have seen, and me being newer to the Bass world, this was exactly what I was looking for, thank you for your time and Great Video!!!
Wow! Excellent teaching and appreciate the detail of holding up the hyacinth to give the visual. And, saying 8 of of 10 times then actual showing the 9th and 10 was great.
All these years I’ve avoided these areas and just fished the edges and clear spots in the grass great tips no body on my lake does this so I’m excited to try it
Chris, i just came across your video even though it's 3 years old, but this is so informative. Thank you for the great info and details. Tight lines. 🎣
Hard to punch here in MO with exceptions of coarse . But these are great tips and very good instructions. I appreciate your time. Excellent thanks Chris.
My Man...doing a great job spreading the love over multi-generations! Cool vid, quizzing on kids about the Googanz before giving SB's...and happy to see you using and "saying" Eagle Claw. The Eagle Claw brand really gets us middle aged nostalgic types, with a monthly lure stipend, in the mood to spend;-)
Hey mr. zaldain just came across your vids wow I’m hooked so I’ve unsubscribed all others as they don’t explain in detail as you. Can’t wait to put em into action. Looking forward to more and more more and more
Alot of good information packed in with this video. I wanna say thanks for this I wish I would've found your video's sooner. And your info delivery was very spot on. Thanks again and keep up the good work.
I have that rod. It has an adjustable handle that makes life so much better. Spiral wrapped guides and I use mine with heavy floro and a bantam MGL with a Yumeya shallow spool because you don’t need a lot of line
Thanks a lot man...I really appreciate people sharing their knowledge with us to make us better anglers. I am training for a tournament (starting from scratch and only have been fishing for a year or two), I am following your tips and videos to learn and train. I will let you know how I do in the tournament :-)
Great video! Very descriptive and thorough! Two questions ... is a 200 size real absolutely necessary or can I use a 100? Also will 7.3.1 GR work for either 100 or 200?? Because the Daiwa Tatula 150 and 200 do not come in a max 7.3.1 ... but the 100 does come in 8.3.1... lol
Thank you.. i am a petite woman ,only120 lbs with small hands. I cannot use a bait caster . Can you suggest a rod and reel to comply with this that i can purchase to achieve a bit of this technique..
What's your take on a Snell knot vs. a Palomar knot? I've seen a video that Palanuik put out on his take and why he prefers the Palomar over the Snell. I've been a big believer in the Snell over the years, but last weekend had two instances where the hook never came through the bait while punching on Kissimmee and lost two big fish.
Appreciate it, Al! Once we finish this CRAZY non-stop tournament schedule, we hope to really dive in deep and get much more going. Hang tight and thanks for the support.
Man I love your videos and learn a ton from you !!!. I personally wish you would just talk a lil bit more and be more detailed !!.. Not everyone would agree on you being such a Bully also !!!. Why would you punch a fish that can't fight back ??.. that's just wrong !!.. But...GREAT INFO ANYWAYS BROTHER !!!.. STOP PUNCHING THE DARN FISH MAN !!!.. GEEZE !!.. 😂🤣💪💯😱💥💢🥊🥊🥋🥋
50lbs is too light. So light it'll break the rest of your tackle including reel and rod. Ive jacked some fish and hung up more. Always have to cut my 30lb braid not even mentioning my 50 lb braid. Wrap it around my arm and break small trees and large limbs or it'll pull me into the water. Was 30 to 50. Now its 65 to 80. Crazy. I fo like the ease of pucking out ba klashes on my 50 lb setup but its plenty in slmost all freshwater cases.
And who the hell are you? If they are productive, pay taxes, and overall a good person, than yea buddy, they HAVE earned the right to bass fish. I know plenty of people that served who are huge jerks. It's certainly not a free pass to entitlement.
One of the best fishing "how-to" videos I've ever seen! Thanks Chris!
Thanks Martin!

Old Delta trick, love it!!

Excellent diy set up. What wire did you use inside the weight? Also, where did you get it? Appreciate the reply in advance.
🔥🔥 Awesome video & extremely detailed which was truly helpful compared to other video makers.
I appreciate that!
Your a gifted teacher and a hell of a fisherman. Wanna punch some mats in northern Wisconsin ? Great video, Thanks a lot!
I’d love to bud!
Thanks for the info, new to bass fishing!!
Great Job Chris! Been trying this technique the last few years in Florida. Your video helps big time in looking for productive areas for big bass.
Awesome to hear Andrew
Thank you.. i am a petite woman ,only120 lbs with small hands.
I cannot use a bait caster .
Can you suggest a rod and reel to comply with this that i can purchase to achieve a bit of this technique..
Im really curious, why are the eyes on your rod rotated? is that something custom you did and what does it do?
Megabass does it on a handful of their rods
This helped me a lot. I was planning to flip this weekend for a tournament but I have it all wrong. Thanks Chris!
Glad to help Thomas!
Great video. Very informative.
Good job, I love punching!!
What brand punch skirt is that?
Paycheck

It really is!
When your punching and you hold your line with your left hand,do you have a lot of slack??
Hey Chris! What lake are the clips from!? Great video man keep it going!

Incredible video thank you
Ya come to northeast , let’s see you guys fish these waters
We will be fishing the NE in a month
Thanks for sharing good video
Thank you for the watch!
Sorry I'm just finding your channel...superior coaching from the hand to the water...favorite part may have been 'pay attention to the "smack"...'
The bluegill smack is a tell tell sign
Great Info, thanks.
Love your videos I’ve learned soooo much from the zaldangerous one
That’s awesome, Brian. Thanks for giving the vids a play.
Could this rod be used for a mag flutter spoon as well? Good luck on Fork!
No, its a little too aggressive for treble hooks. I use the Mark 48 for my big spoons and other heavy baits that have trebles.
Love your style of fishing I myself only throw big baits cant ever return to conventional Hope you hammer them pig dudes in tourneys Cheers!! :))
I hear you there, Gary!
Love this channel. Priceless intell
Appreciate it, Al! Once we finish this CRAZY non-stop tournament schedule, we hope to really dive in deep and get much more going. Hang tight and thanks for the support.

@@Zaldaingerous up close around 6:33. Very cool detailed looking creature. Thanks for the reply
@@SponsoredByMeFishing that’s called a Dong-path and at the moment is Japan only
@@Zaldaingerous Ah, understood. Very cool bait. We'll probably see it eventually.

I usually just find a fish from the bank and dive towards them with a punch

If I set the hook like that it would end up in a different county
LOL
You should do a bass catch and cook
His basic set up is a $500 rod lol
Yes, that's what I use? I do this for a living. I'd expect a top level craftsman to use the best tools he can get his hands on...
@@Zaldaingerous completely understand, no disrespect was meant by my comments , I’m a huge fan keep grinding
@@northeastpac-man7652 No worries dude. Appreciate you taking the time to watch it!
Why aren’t you young guys serving your country? You haven’t earned your right to bass fish
