Merry Christmas Doc! My wife got me the APIS Gauntlet Gloves. Thx for this video. Your video is absolutely accurate. These gloves are amazing. Going to go back and watch your Glove maintenance video. I’m going to take care of these.
I bought these using your affiliate link and they came in handy last weekend when I had to replace the woodenware and frames in an emergency. The bees were naturally defensive yet I never took a sting. If I went gloveless (as I usually do when I perform normal inspections), my hands would have looked like mittens in the first 30 seconds. Great gloves!
Anywhere but wrist is tough when you are an allergic beekeeper! Great video and thanks for stating wear to fit and comfort. I’m a bit jealous you can get closer to your bees. ❤
I own three pairs of Apis Tactical Gloves, my wife has a pair too, we both love them. We also like the Sting Stopper ventilated goat skin gloves sold at FoxHound Bee Co for dealing with extra aggressive colonies we sometimes run into and you need the FULL suite on. Normally we just wear a jacket and apis gloves for working in our own yards. I find Apis tactical gloves give me the best use of my hands / fingers, and I really like that. The Sting Stoppers are NOT so good on dexterity, but great for a bit more protection when relocating / removing an aggressive / protective colony someone called to have removed. One other thing I would say about the Sting Stopper gloves, DO NOT GET THEM WET, if you do they will become trash the leather will turn rock hard and you cannot recondition them to get them soft again, I tried. I always recommend Apis gloves over the others to everyone who asks me about my gloves.
Wow that’s quite a comparison, pros and cons!! I’ve personally been curious about Foxhounds gloves but never got a pair. I appreciate your feedback on both gloves!
Love my apis tactical gloves! Only thing is Mann Lake just ripped them off by having the same gloves but just put their logo on them. They are the exact same gloves. I will stick with Apis Tactical.

Great video. I think I need to try some of these.
The best fitting glove I have purchased so far. I own over 5 pair. I have small hands and these are my #1.
Nice! I’m glad to hear that🐝🐝

You’re a brave dude and I admire your pursuit of beekeeping despite the risk. Stay safe and covered!
Great review and your endorsement sold me on them. I will have a pair or two.

@@thehivedoctor13 Don't get me wrong foxhound gloves have a purpose in my eyes, just not an everyday glove like Apis makes from my experience. 🤷♀
