So cool, thanks Bob. Kiss alive was my first ever concert in Los Angeles at the Fabulous Forum with Cheap Trick opening up for them when I was 12 years old and I was obsessed with them for many, many years. Seeing you at the concerts brought back so many great memories. So cool to be there with you, thank you so much...
Wow that was an amazing adventure you brought us on and myself being a super fan since 1974 and a KISS Army member almost as long. Had many meet and greets with the original 4 members before it cost money thanks to Doc McGee. Made the local newspaper in Boston with my son and Gene at his book signing and too many memories to mention over the years. Thanks for all the behind the scenes backstory and footage Bob, YOU ROCK 🤟🏻🤘🏻💪🏻👍🏻
I have a confession to make! At 65 I didn't really become a Kiss fan until AFTER becoming a Videobob fan about 4 years ago. Of course I have always known of them, heard them, listened to them when played but didn't really follow and pay attention to much about them until your stories of them so thanks for that. Rock on.
Hey Bob, did you hear me in Seattle? I yelled the announcement about 20 min before the show. The crowd started cheering...then stopped because it was only me....then someone said " He sounds just like him."😂 Well...I practiced. KISS ARMY KNIGHT over and out 🛡️🔥
Awesome video and thankyou so much for sharing.. Really enjoyed it.. I saw them in Verona, Italy 23'. You did a fab job and the experience & memories that will last your life time, is priceless. Congrats and well done
Haven't watched this one yet, but I will, but I have something to say to you, YOU ARE LIVING YOUR BEST LIFE! I admire you, and your right, you only live once, why not have the best! The thing that totally makes sense is you just didn't sit there, you put in work to have the best. Your smug and I love it!! Watched you while tripping the other day, it was like you were giving me a pep talk, totally helped me
Very Cool Stories! Very Cool Kiss, and Pantera Stuff! You were in the Right Places at the Right Time to know those Music Artists! How Cool is that! I've always been a Huge Fan of Both Kiss, and Pantera before they were Popular like they are these days! I remember seeing Kiss do a Free Concert in Forest Park in St. Louis, Mo. back in the Early 1970's. I was the guy Next to Stage with the Long Hair! 😆🎤 No Joke! I was there! I use to Paint my Face for the Concerts i attended. I would Love to announce a Band on Stage! I have Experience as an announcer. Over 20 Years of Club D.J. Experience, and Speech Communications Skills from the University of Missouri St. Louis. I remember seeing Pantera Live in Concert also in St. Louis, Mo. back in the 1990's with Dime Bag on Guitar, and His Brother Vin on Drums! I had Close to Stage Seats! Great Show! It was at the Same Venue that Guns & Roses were involved in a Riot. Peace! and Keep Rocking Out!!! Mark Rockledge ✌💯🤘
I've wanted to do that my entire life. You fucking nailed it, dude!!!!! I am a professional voice actor. I've done VOG events in major cities around the country (Jingle Balls, concerts, etc.) and I could NOT have done it any better. Seriously. Amazing job.
Bob....BOB, DUDE!!! How VERY COOL!!! I always wondered who the various guys were who have been lucky enough to do the KISS announcement before the show were! This is a rare and very cool thing and to honest the last show in MSG, yes I was there, he sounded a bit lackluster and bored honestly! 😴 I was there on that historic weekend, loved every bit of NYC and all the KISS events going on! We will never forget it, and so happy we did it! When KISS announced the EOTR I made it a point to be there, wherever that city was! It was a great night and thanks for sharing your journey!!!
So glad I got the see Kiss a few years ago it will always be one of my favorites thanks for sharing the last few shows and some behind the scenes it’s really awesome
13:48 Money, money, money. As Paul Stanley himself said: If you're in the show business and you're not making money, someone else is making it for you. And Kiss knows how to do that like no one else!!!
Thanks for taking us behind the scenes Bob. I was fortunate enough to make the final 2 shows at MSG with my best friend from childhood. 🙌 We also saw KISS with the original 4 guys back on the Dynasty tour. Honestly it was so loud back then, that I’m still half deaf 🤣Rock on! 🎸
Bob, you did a great job with this video! It had a documentary feel, different than your other vids. Excellent work, you kept my attention for 40+ mins with a topic im not even interested in. Very talented.
Awesome adventure Bob. Thanks for bringing us along with you. I’m from Portland, Texas, about 6 hrs from your home town Fort Worth. I saw KISS in concert, on their Dynasty tour, back in ‘79, and then twice more in Corpus Christi, Texas. Creatures and Lick It Up tours. They Rocked the roof off the Coliseum. Great voice intros Bob. Keep on Rockin’ 🎸 👍🤘🏼😝🤘🏼(⭐️👹👨🚀😺)
That’s awesome @Bob !! I’m truly so happy they gave you not only the job as announcer, but also the “OK” to put this out.. absolutely phenomenal to have the proof forever now!! I “liked” kiss all these years, but I will have to say, my favorite as a teen back then was @SkidRow .. I had to have my hair as close to @SebastianBach as I could get it !! lol.. Their music just absolutely resonated with me more than anyone else at the time.. So for you to get to stand there and do that spot with him was freakin nuts for my memories.. I appreciate the video for everything that it was!! Now, I look forward to seeing how this new “AI” stuff is gonna work out.. Leave it to @GeneSimmons and the rest of the guys to figure out a brand new way to make millions while they sleep.. lol.. I think @GeneSimmons will go down in history as one of the absolute BEST brand marketing members ever.. Without question .. Stay blessed brother!!
bob that was an incredible video. My favorite shot is when you captured Paul flying over his son Evan! This is amazing work. It must be the most incredible feeling ever as a KISS fan to experience all of this.
i was actually wondering about the announcements because i was actually at the palm desert show with my grandpa and that was so cool that you got to do the announcements and hang out with kiss
My buddy George (Lightwave International) owns the company that did the lasers for the tour. Love your voice over work for the city announcements. Would love to get into that line of work when I retire next year. I have an interest in it and all my friends think I should do it.
Very cool my friend - sounded great. That is something I always wanted to try and you actually got to do it. The Alive II guy was always one of my favorites since I wore out many copies of that album. Anyway, just knowing the band would be the dream.
Hey my sweetheart Bob 🤩🤩OMG‼️‼️This was phenomenal ‼️‼️You are truly back in your element ‼️I have thoroughly enjoyed this documentary💝💝💝I CANT wait for more of these💝💝💝
Thanks for sharing this with us Bob. I've followed KISS for years. It was funny but Gene actually said 'Wake The Fuck Up!!' then 'Yeah You' to someone in the front area there who wasn't being cool.
It's only fitting that you were there fir kiss's last show and I know you had DIME&VINNY in your heart while watching the final show cuz I know if they were both still with us they'd be there too....Great video again Bob. ..
Hey Bob, finnaly I figure the guy behind the mike! Thank you for the great moments, along with awesome KISS! Look, I'm from Brasil and I went in the Florianopolis show, I remember that was very tough for you pronouncing "Florianopolis", anyways, I loved it!!! All the best!
This was great! Props to you Video Bob for sharing this amazing opportunity 👍 👍

I don't think Bob was a KISS fan until he met Eric Singer by chance.
Rock and Roll! Well done, video, Bob! 🔥🤘
Living the dream, congrats!
Videobob is the Forrest Gump of Rock n Roll, he's seen and done so many cool things!
