The Eighth Doctor Meets Charley Pollard [Doctor Who: Storm Warning - Animation]

- With Charlotte Pollard and Eighth Doctor reuniting in some Big Finish audio dramas this month, I wanted to animate their first ever encounter with each other aboard the R101 in the, as of this week, 21-year-old story "Storm Warning."
I don't really consider animation a hobby, and I don't know much about it, but every few years, I try my hand at it for some reason. In the almost 10 years I've had my channel, I've uploaded 2 animations. I think this one turned out much better than those two.
*Small Correction: the R101's registration was G-FAAW not G-FAW
This audio drama is available for purchase from Big Finish's website: www.bigfinish.com/releases/v/...
and it's on Spotify: open.spotify.com/album/2a8CiC... Видеоклипы
My dream for Doctor Who is an animated adaptation of a Paul McGann Big Finish story, in the style of the animated lost episodes. They released Shada in multiple formats, surely they could do that with Big Finish!
I love this so much, the little quirks in the movements, Charlie looking down the camera as she talks to herself, so charming
I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!! It makes me want to listen to my copy on CD and picture your awesome art style. Keep up the great work!
I like this! I foresee great potential in Charlie and her companionship with the Doctor.
Brilliant!
Well done on the animation!
We can say the we have seen the 8th Doctor get another go at least!
👍🏻
1:18 made me chuckle
this is a great animation, thanks for putting in the time and effort to make it, you've done a great job!
You've put more effort into this than I think anyone can fully comprehend. Well done. This certainly shows the world your true talent, skill and perseverance. I hope you're very proud!
This story was a great intro to Eight, him and Charley were a great duo.
Nicely done!
I love that Charley actually makes an aside to the camera. XD
Oh my goodness, what a lovely surprise - and a great way to celebrate this story. Superb job Paul!
A scene from the first episode of New Who in an alternate universe
This is absolutely superb. You've really nailed it with the little gestures
This is excellent I would love them to animate big finish like this! 👍
Absolutely brilliant piece of work! Please do more!
This is really well made!
This is really really well done. It'd be fantastic if you'd do more of this story!
Excellent animation, really captured the characters really well. Nice one.
love it would love to see whole audio animated really get into it 😀
This animation is incredible
this looks fantastic amazing
A really nice little watch. Thanks
Love it!
This is the first Big Finish audio I listened to.
I hope you do more! Especially a multi-Doctor story.
awwww this is so sweet!!!
Fantastic
this is brilliant
Best part is that this comes shortly after Eight almost crashed the TARDIS into the R101 while trying to avoid a ravenous Vortisaur pack and, accidentally (instead of on purpose, for a change) ended up LOSING the TARDIS after it got flushed out of a ballast tank xD
This is terrifying
it would be interested in what the sirens of time looked like animated that was as the 9th Doctor would say "Fantastic"
I’m definitely not experienced enough I’m animation to the point I can start taking requests, but who knows? Maybe, I’ll get around to doing something from that story one day. Something from part 4 maybe.
I would love to see the full thing animated. What do you think about it.
Nice Hylton Collins.
This was awesome.. do the one where he meets lucie Miller
Maybe someday
Nice work Paul! What program did you use to animate this?
The drawing was done in MS Paint and touched up in Photoshop, and the animation was done in Premiere Pro.
Can you do a scene from monsters in metropolis where The Ninth Doctor meets The cybermen
I barely ever have the time for animation. It's not my number one hobby. That said, I'll keep that in mind in case I ever feel like doing another one. (also, I haven't bought the Ninth Doctor Adventures yet.)
@@PaulAndroid me neither
@@benmiller3252Why are you asking somebody to animate a scene from an audio adventure you haven't even listened to yourself yet? I suppose you just read about the scene off the Fandom wiki and thought "Well maybe that's interesting". My god, you are sad.
Those teeth 😆😆😆😆😆😆
