Maps like these are what makes naval combat so appealing in Days of Ruin. I might've missed the part that people wanted to see Naval units in Tiny Wars but I hope we put on a hell of a show. This was such a crazy game, and I'm happy to have had it with you!
I love the Air and Sea map, I suck at AW but it was easier for me for some reason. Battleship are GOD and Carriers are fun (even if you need to sell a lung to afford them witouth skiping factory...)
Fun fact on capturing T. ports - It actually can be relevant, because enemy ships bigger than landers/gunboats can't move through your ports and T. ports. They have the same behavior as beaches if your enemy controls one.
@@DeejusProductions Actually forget what I said, I just went and tested it and neutral ports and T. ports work the same way as enemy ones. So you don't have to cap them to block enemy movement, I was misremembering. But capturing them will let your own ships move through them so I suppose there is still a point to capturing them.
Unless Tinywars changed it or I am not remembering correctly, they also provide a little bit of vision. As they they act as cities or other properties hiding your units and providing a bit of intel.
[SPOILERS] Deejus had the uncanny ability to somehow give away the ending at the start and then completely throw you for a loop at the end. This is not the first time he had me completely convinced he was gonna lose only to pull out a win in the end. Loving the DOR content
You make a good point about how Gage usually benefits from having a recon, tank or duster as his CO unit, instead of an indirect unit. Say you have 2 artillery (on different fronts) and 1 recon. If you make your CO an artillery, you won't be able to build charge with both of them. But if you make it the recon, you can move your aura around between artillery shots, applying it to both of them. Also I don't know if Tiny Wars changes this, but in DoR your CO unit has to expend its action to use your CO power. So if Gage makes a (say) CO rocket, that rocket will *never* get the +2 range when he pops his power.
The only thing I can think of off the top of my head that Tiny Wars changed is a Caulder nerf. Other than that, everything should be very close to the cartridge
@@caellanmurphy4751 It COULD be every turn if you consistently get that charge. But weather for three days can feel like a lot. Especially if it takes away from what you need. Sandstorm is the worst one to deal with.
Only watched the beginning, but yeah, Gage is trash. You want a mobile unit for your zone or you are at the mercy of your opponent. It's important to control the pace of the game, and Gage (usually) cannot do that.
Gage for me would be around a tier 3 CO. I feel like maybe going 30/20 for his indirects would be the best way to buff him without going too far. Though I will say I think people lately have been too harsh on Gage. Yeah, he isn’t great but I wouldn’t be surprised if soon people start comparing him to Tasha and Greyfield; which he is still significantly better than.
I think that a nerf to Isabella is important to give him a niche. He should have an significant advantage over her at least with indirects. That being said, i agree on a small buff. I thought about give him more CO zone but i don't know if that could be to much.
I hate that you're not losing for playing worse or anything, but just because you're not used to the mechanics... I wish you played more, you'd literally be ranked 1... Disclaimer: haven't watched the whole match yet.

@@alexisbaz8746 There are maps in Tiny Wars where you're given a pre-deployed Carrier so you can only splurge 15,000 on Seaplanes.

"I'M GOING TO LOSE BECAUSE OF BAD WEATHER?"
i actually couldn't predict who'd win until the end.
What an unexpected ending...
I love using rigs to terraform the map
I can relate to all those baboon moves
OOGA BOOGA
I live in baboon mode
Tinywars got some absolutely wonky maps!

What a match and great commentary keepibgvus guessing right till the end. Great job all around! 👌🏾
Nice hollow knight music
Been a minute since I heard Hollow Knight music, kinda fits the dark mood of a fog match

I think this map must be named after the side choices at Panda Express... I always go half and half, though. ;)

Isabella is everything Gage wishes he could be
Maybe giving him extra range in his CO unit?, he would be a Grit artillery
It was such a good Idea the temp port!!!! lol!

What happened to the music? :/
I mean, Hollow Knight's is great, but it's nothing compared to AWDoR music...
