Thanks for your thoughts on this one Chris! I've read a little bit about the movie, but not really much of a fan of Pete's style of comedy, so I wasn't really sure where I stood with wanting to watch it. Good to hear your take on it. I may watch it still, though, who knows! Take care:)

Hey Chris I am glad that you went and saw this film, thanks for taking my recommendation, I am glad you had a good time! I really liked the film and I think this is a good modern autobiographical film, serious but not. I do agree that perhaps the film needed to be shorter and maybe have a goal. Although i guess the no goal makes sense considering that film is about Scott coming to age a getting on the path of getting a goal, hence in the last shot. For me is a 7/10 very meaningful to me personally. You should check out another underrated Pete Davison film where he is supporting Big Time Adolescence it on Hulu and the film was at Sundance back in 2019. Another two recommendations 7500 starring Joseph Gordon Levitt and The Vast of Night Winner of the Audience Award in Slamdance both in Amazon Prime !
You need to review Ricky Gervais' series Afterlife. @him and watch your exposure increase by orders of magnitude

Thank you, seeing all these other reviews praise this film made me think I was alone in wanting good storytelling. I didnt pay for this movie, my coworker wanting to waste time watching this on firestick. First 10 mins we knew where this was going , so we fast foward through the filerl only to watch Bill Burr scenes. Pete acting was terrible, the supporting roles held this movie together. Well the scenes I did watch.
