    RIP old F40s and Gallery cars. However, in addition to the Bombardier BiLevels and MPI MP36s, the MPI-rebuilt F40PH-2Cs are also staying.

    Where is the next destination for these cars? Scrap yard? Museum? Another agency?

      They’ll go live on SMART until they get sold
      There’s been some talk that metrolink may want them for 2028 games but we will see if they can find the money and justify it.

      @@gdrriley420 thanks for the answer. I used to ride the SP commute trains with the old heavyweight cars. I liked helping the conductor flip the seat backs at the end of the line. Now I am 800 miles away, and 60 years older.
