The Clippers announcer was so salty, I love it. I was a Raptors season ticket holder that year, and Vinsanity was reaching a level of MJ/Kobe hype. Carter was on the verge of becoming a worldwide phenomenon, but injuries and petulant behavior kept him from truly elite status. Still, Vince was special and I'm glad he matured as he aged, and his legacy as a Hall of Fame baller and Top 3 dunker ever is secure.
@@CaLi4real Your attempt to discredit Gerald actually helped prove the point of the OP. You have to get up really high to blow out a candle on the heel of the rim.
Wait, wait... I didn't see any vintage stuff.... Oh, you mean the 90s/early 2000s stuff? From when I was a teenager or in my early 20s? That's 'vintage' to you?... ...Does that mean *I* am vintage!? 🤯
Great selection. DeAndre's slam is brutal as hell, but I would personally swap 1 and 2 around. There's just something about VCs that feels untouchable. The most perfect and vicious execution.
HoopLists is one of the few content creators that recognizes great players and highlights from all eras of the NBA. Shawn Kemp is rarely seen in compilation videos, even though the guy was an incredible, explosive player. Great video.
Hahaha yeah man, deandre on 1 is definitely also my choice. I was hoping to see him on 1. You should have captured his face afterwards. Even he felt bad for his victim 😅
Those Clippers Lob City years were awesome! The OG Sonics Lob City was amazing too! I liked this video a lot. I am not debating which number any were placed. Great picks.
Gerald Green's windmill has to be the best alley-oop dunk of all time. The dudes entire head was literally above the rim and the reaction from the Rockets bench was hilarious.
5:35. He makes this look so easy, but this is ridiculously hard to pull off In 50 years, I don't think I have ever seen an alley-oop from that angle done before,
Where's VC's alley oop windmill when the played at the tar heel arena (00'/01')? With all due respect, but two windmills from Blake, where he lacks extension and no Vince with his perfect windmill?
4:52 Gerald Green!!! Highly underrated!!! One of the best in game dunkers of all time!!! 4:58 lookt at this!!! Looking into the basket!!! One of the best dunks of all time!!!
That's a real good compilation. Mix of stylish ones and historical ones and important ones. Two things to nitpick: 1) I have the Nets Gerald Green one higher 2) It is missing a Clippers one before Lob City, Lamar Odom to Darius Miles. To be fair I only ever saw that one in mid quality but would easily relegate the JC betwen the legs outta there for that.
Iguodala had a couple good alley-oops from Iverson in Staples Center against the Lakers from the 04-05 season. Black 76ers jerseys. I never see those in any compilations. I did enjoy this video though.
That pass from Brian Shaw was tipped from the moment he let go, that's how it ended up on the other side of the rim. That dunk should've been higher on the list in my opinion
Vince's should've been number one. Great list. My six year old daughter just asked why there were no alley oops from the Harlem Globetrotters on the list, she's so cute.
Drose caught a one handed alley-oop from Ronnie Brewer that deserves a mention. The United Center and Stacey King went crazy. I WANNA GO HIGHER! THAT'S YOUR POINT GUARD GOING UPSTAIRS TO GET THAT BALL!!
Vince Carter's was literally a perfection. A true illustration of what an alley oop dunk should look like my God
Beat me to it!! Vince Carter is the filthiest dunker ever! Just amazing!
The Clippers announcer was so salty, I love it. I was a Raptors season ticket holder that year, and Vinsanity was reaching a level of MJ/Kobe hype. That MF'ing reverse alley @ 1:18 is ridiculous!!!
Vince was the best! Every highlight dunk that he had, he threw...that...shit...down!
Man i remember Vince that year ....every single game you were glued to the TV ...
Waiting and hoping for some Vince magic
Vin-sanity, that is.
@sunderl18Yup.. and then he passed that torch to Blake Griffin
Vince Carter’s dunks are so heart pumping! Especially the 2000 olympics dunk. For me the best dunker of all time!
Dunking over that 7 footer and Garnett almost slugged Carter because he was so hyped.
Gerald Green had some INSANE bounce
Yeah, and his dunk MUST be at least top 3. No way it's number 5.
The man who Blew out the 🕯️ and then dunked it 😂😂.. yeah crazy bounce
@@CaLi4real Your attempt to discredit Gerald actually helped prove the point of the OP. You have to get up really high to blow out a candle on the heel of the rim.
@@FLValentino I don't think me meant that negatively.
You should check out Shannon Brown. Now that man has some insane bounce!
This list had all the best ones but vince dunks will always be my fav
The most of unbelievable slam dunk player: Vince carter
I was at that game when Vince did that amazing alley-oop vs the Clippers. The sports arena shook when he did the dunk. It was chilling.
"Somebody should have told him he was coming from behind." 😂😂😂
Yeah, they should have.
Vince carter dunks hit the right spots for me
Vince Carter invincible 🔥🔥🔥
Carter at #16 wasn’t even off a lob - that was a bullet pass that he turned into an ally-oop reverse jam. What an athletic play!
So was Jr Smith dunk as well
That Gerald Green oop-windmill was picture-perfect! Straight FLAWLESS!!! 💯
Thats nr1 for me
Finally someone who includes some vintage all time alley oops 💯 great list
Thanks man
Wait, wait... I didn't see any vintage stuff.... Oh, you mean the 90s/early 2000s stuff? From when I was a teenager or in my early 20s? That's 'vintage' to you?...
...Does that mean *I* am vintage!? 🤯
To me, the Gerald Green windmill is the greatest of all time.
Absolute perfection
I agree
I agree too! My favorite alley oop and second favorite dunk ever (behind Vince in the Olympics of course :).
Great selection. DeAndre's slam is brutal as hell, but I would personally swap 1 and 2 around. There's just something about VCs that feels untouchable. The most perfect and vicious execution.
No slam dunk list is complete without vince carter
Never seen anyone dunk as beautiful as Vince does
Vince carter is the greatest dunker oat.. a legend
Gerald Green - quietly among the best dunkers in NBA history.
HoopLists is one of the few content creators that recognizes great players and highlights from all eras of the NBA. Shawn Kemp is rarely seen in compilation videos, even though the guy was an incredible, explosive player. Great video.
Vince carter alley oop should be No.1
🤯🤯🤯so much nastiness! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Vince should save the top 5 at least
"Spectators are having fun, the players are having fun and the broadcasters are having fun"😂😂
Gary Payton and the Reignman have tons of great alley oop. There should be more list from the original lob city
Half man half amazing is still to date can not be beaten for his amazing dunks.
Hahaha yeah man, deandre on 1 is definitely also my choice. I was hoping to see him on 1. You should have captured his face afterwards. Even he felt bad for his victim 😅
Great list 😃
Man loved this compilation. So many great memories and throwdowns.
There's an alley oop off the glass windmill dunk Vince Carter did during a charity game. Cleanest windmill I've ever seen. Dude was another level.
Those Clippers Lob City years were awesome!
The OG Sonics Lob City was amazing too!
I liked this video a lot. I am not debating which number any were placed. Great picks.
That Gerald green dunk will be forever epic Dammit man 😲
Kemp Payton is such a classic
I would shuffle within the 20 but good list👍 love the classic Payton to Kemp!
dunking on small dudes isn't impressive except jordan on knight, that's an exception
It was impressive because of his positioning in the air and how far back he caught the ball
Is a good list!!!👍🏼
Gerald Green's windmill has to be the best alley-oop dunk of all time.
The dudes entire head was literally above the rim and the reaction from the Rockets bench was hilarious.
Kobe to Shaq will always be iconic. ❤
Vince Carter all the way! Best dunker, and one of the best player in NBA. He's overall and talented guy not only dunks.
Lamar Odom to Darius Miles should be in this. Don't know why it's always missin in these compilations. Preposterous!!
I LOVE this game.
Gerald Green windmill 🔥🔥🔥
First time ive seen a list and i can agree with the outcome lol well done
Thank you ♥️
There’s soo many great ones it’s hard to make a list lol but best dunker in my opinion.. Mr Vince Carter
Deandre and Lebron put them two lil guys in the graves…wrong place wrong time ☠️😂😂
i knew what no. 1 would be before i even started watching lol
i LOVE #5 Green's windmill dunk. The Houston bench couldn't hide their reactions. Even Kevin McHale reacted to that dunk and it wasn't hist team
5:35. He makes this look so easy, but this is ridiculously hard to pull off
In 50 years, I don't think I have ever seen an alley-oop from that angle done before,
This was a good ass list fam!
“Lebron James murders Jason Terry” 💀
The Shawn kemp lob over Alonzo mourning in charlotte was dope
Agreed plus his fast break in Dallas and the halfway catch in Boston from Nate.
All of them put it down for sure, but half man half amazing can't be touched. 💪💪💪👍👍🔥💯
That was some sweet dunks!!
Green is a severely underrated dunker
Great list.
Where's VC's alley oop windmill when the played at the tar heel arena (00'/01')? With all due respect, but two windmills from Blake, where he lacks extension and no Vince with his perfect windmill?
I think Brandon Knight is STILL laying on the court
Very good list!
HALF MAN, HALF AMAZING
The last one will go down as the most DISRESPECTFUL one ever
The Sultan of Soar, The Deacon of Dunk, The Juggernaut of Jam...The Vince Carter. Hands down my favorite player of all time.
Amazing stuff
Magnifique 😮 j'adore 😊😂
LMAO, the prophecy. #17 Dwight Howard on Jrue Holiday.
Announcer: Somebody should have told Jrue Holiday he was coming from behind.
4:52 Gerald Green!!! Highly underrated!!! One of the best in game dunkers of all time!!! 4:58 lookt at this!!! Looking into the basket!!! One of the best dunks of all time!!!
Vince Carter!!!
I forgot, JR had some get up sheesh!
Is Dwight Howard the tallest Gay man in history? He closes refrigerator doors with his hips and says “boop”
lol
number 18: the passer was earl watson, the season was 2008/2009
I would have been Cool with it if it was just all Vince Carter Alley-Oops
Dwight howard coming from behind is CRAZY WILD!
1 Alley oop you miss was Lamar Odom to Darius Miles
Just making sure the glove and the reignman were in the video, carry on.
Totally agree with #1 every time I see that clip I feel like I witnessed a murder.😂
Kobe was a legend, but he didnt have hops like MJ or Vince, not even close
That's a real good compilation. Mix of stylish ones and historical ones and important ones.
Two things to nitpick:
1) I have the Nets Gerald Green one higher
2) It is missing a Clippers one before Lob City, Lamar Odom to Darius Miles. To be fair I only ever saw that one in mid quality but would easily relegate the JC betwen the legs outta there for that.
That first one...
Lawd sweet baby Jesus
VC first place no matter which slum, all are number one.
2:30 is borderline lost media
Carter's precision and power is still one of the best 😮
Iguodala had a couple good alley-oops from Iverson in Staples Center against the Lakers from the 04-05 season. Black 76ers jerseys. I never see those in any compilations. I did enjoy this video though.
Honorable mentions:
KD to Russ
Brewer to D.Rose
Shumpert to JR Smith
Brooks to Ja (two handed windmill)
Wade to Lebron (over John Lucas)
That Gerald Green alley oop windmill should be top 3 all time!!!
Either top 1
Im touchig my self while watching this. It was that good
Somebody should have told Jrue Holiday he was coming from behind him 👀😄 No diddy..
God, those alley-oop Tony Allen to Gerald Green were the greatest..
WOWWW....🤩🤩🤩
The giannis one was actually from the 2018-2019 season
Kobs was prop the most difficult coming from the other side of the rim and getting fouled
That pass from Brian Shaw was tipped from the moment he let go, that's how it ended up on the other side of the rim. That dunk should've been higher on the list in my opinion
@JasonWeddleDeathWeddle yeah, everything about it....like chic Hearn said , he never seen that play before ..and we haven't seen it since
Crying at old Shawn Kemp pushing on number 14
Dwight Howard secretly had 2 entries on this list. That’s Gold 🙏🏾
Nobody takes the ball out faster than somebody who got cooked
4:58 - What!?! 🤯 It’s like dude is dunking on a 8ft elementary school rim.
Vince carter the god of dunk best dunker ever no one can bet him no one no one
I’m in agreement with #1.
Carter no. ☝️🔥⚡
#5 should have been #1. Gerald Gren was so high he risked being blinded.
Vince's should've been number one. Great list. My six year old daughter just asked why there were no alley oops from the Harlem Globetrotters on the list, she's so cute.
DeAndre Jordan: "GET OFF ME!!!" moment at 5:55
Nr 1 and 2 are changeable, both are so good
Drose caught a one handed alley-oop from Ronnie Brewer that deserves a mention. The United Center and Stacey King went crazy. I WANNA GO HIGHER! THAT'S YOUR POINT GUARD GOING UPSTAIRS TO GET THAT BALL!!
