I wish there would be made a movie about swimming, Phelps av one of the actors ❤ (not documentary, but a swimming competition movie about a teenager trying to make it in swimming 😊 like all those cheerleader movies 😛) It would be motivating for young teens 😍
@@alanahale9522 I know 😉 the closest I find as motivating swimming stuff in movies or series is that one girl who swims in pretty little liars and H2O 😅
5 years straight with no days off. That’s just crazy especially just being a teenager. Not even an adult. And he started pretty late at 11 years old. Just imagine his times and WR’s if he started when he was a toddler
@@art.1ggrechsgrundlagederle425 really? I heard him say in many interviews that it was around 11 when he started. Or maybe that’s when he started seriously?

@yonGGeun 드래근신 I suppose its possible but it wouldn't benefit him just to do it for a relay, if adrenaline did that to him he would've taken it for individual events
@yonGGeun 드래근신 it stood out a lot, I dont think anyone believes he used adrenaline, if there was reason for that the French team wouldve called it out immediately

Lol. I struggled so hard just doing 300 meters for my high school triathlon. I think I would actually drown if I tried one thousand meters. Let alone ten thousand.
After all his achievement and still humble. One of the greatest Olympians.

He is the UNDISPUTED Greatest Olympian of All time.

Goggles filling up during a race sucks I know how that feels
Me too, one time i was taking a shower and a drop sprinklered in my eye
I’d say he had a little help from Lezak
Well of course he did but they were relays, 2008 was an incredible performance
@yonGGeun 드래근신 dude they wouldve lost the relay without him
@yonGGeun 드래근신 they didn't but I dont think it was drugs, Lezak only got that time on the relay and that was pretty much out of pure luck

11:42 as a swimmer I can say that Anderson Cooper is pretty good.
I've seen better eight year olds... but as a guy who's never swam competitively, it is pretty damn good.
fully agree. he is an old broadcaster
