MP is a true motivation. Going through all the pressure in those years and surviving a suicide, coming back stronger. He shares his thoughts in such a nice way. A very good interview.
It's May 1, 2023, 6:49am. I live in Yuma Arizona. I am pushing 64 years old. Swimming has always been my sport. I'm a diabetic, have a wonderful younger brother 57 years old. I weighed nearly 240 pounds. Long story short, I weigh 129 pounds now, I'm pushing 64 years old, and had "Phelps Fever" during his Olympic win streak. I am a classically trained opera singer and pianist. My brother restores classic cars to their original glory. We lost his wife a few years ago suddenly to an abdominal aortic aneurysm. I am the proud new owner of a Michael Phelps Swimspa and worked on it all weekend and have it all figured out. I'm not a social media person. I now donate $10 a month to perpetuity to his foundation. I went through the Mark Spitz era, thank you MP for motivational spirit to me!
Michael is an example of how a boy without a father if given a mentor who believes in him will do just fine in life. Rise up men! We need you to help our kids whose fathers either can’t or don’t want to be the fathers they need. You can change the boys’ lives forever!
Undoubtedly one of the greatest athelete. People talk lot abt working smartly but if you listen him, we will find that he has worked literally very hard with discipline and commitment over many years and worked towards achieve all small goals. Top of all he believed himself and never bothered what others think about him.
I am an avid mental health awareness advocate and spoken word performer, and I love this so much. I travel the country trying to bring that awareness on stages, in classrooms, hospitals, and on my RUclips channel, so I get excited when I see other advocates. 💚❤️
MP you are a phenomenon, a rarity with special attributes and blessed with the right drive, skill set and support system to succeed. The stars were all aligned perfectly and your life, through incredible hard work over a period of many years, sheer perseverance and high excellence have yielded a super high achieving Olympian and humanitarian. Each medal is the culmination of hundreds of 1000s of hours of pool and exercise workouts that are so well deserved. You gave us lots of happy memories and thrilled us with each race which we'll relive through YT. Congratulations on your successful Olympic career, you've made all Americans proud and you smashed the records with your outstanding achievements that are so over-the-top, we can't thank you enough.. Thank you for speaking up about depression and destigmatizing a major health concern for ppl all over the world. You're an inspiration and a positive force for mental health and water safety and making the public aware of important issues where public funding needs to be directed and publicized. Many blessings from an appreciative fan. 🌷
Winningest Olympic athlete ever but videos about him have such few views and no typical hour long documentary on him can be found...that is mind boggling !
Michael Phelps will always be the Best! He will always be the First Multi-Record breaker, First 8Multi-Gold Olympic Medal winner! No matter who comes next, (if there ever is someone else) he will ALWAYS be the first. He's the man!
I was surprised by the comparatively few views and scant comments. People can’t begin to fathom his level of achievement. He’s left with the challenge of describing it all. Not easy. He trained for swimming, not explaining.
I am going to be watching this Video over and over Again... Thank you for the Vid cuz Michael Phelps is just so impressive and he really expresses it in this Video...!!!
one thing people might be missing is how incredibly gifted phelps is. it's like he was born to swim, from his body proportions, to his double jointed feet that can kick like dolphins. hard worker, no doubt. but a lot of people work hard. he definitely won the gene lottery though.
Talk about humble...the greatest Olympic athlete in history and right away he gives credit to his coach. And he says "I was a pain in the ass." Hilarious. Seems like such a likeable down to earth guy.
I have some friends that know when I am isolating, but my husband doesn’t even know. I think many people say they care, but they either really don’t or don’t know how. I am a survivor. I have had many people, family & friends pass from Suicide. One just 2 weeks ago and just 24 years young. He had a lot of friends that showed up for his services, but were not there when he needed them.
