First time I came across this stuff. I am a die hard heavy metal fan. I love Eleine, Alisha White, Melisha and other metal singers. Can't believe to see some ancient hindu stuff. Tons of love from India. I heard Rotting Christ in Ancient Greek it is also a marvel.
Sanskrit ( autoglotónimo संस्कृतम् saṃskṛtam ) is a classical language of India , plus one of the oldest documented , after the Hittite and Mycenaean Greek Indo-European languages Sanskrit is mainly used as a ceremonial language in Hindu rituals , in the form of hymns and mantras. Its pre-classic form , Vedic Sanskrit ( the ritual language of the Vedic religion ) is one of the oldest members of the Indo-European family
Small pronounciation tip: The consonants with a dot beneath or above are pronounced "retroflex", meaning with a curled back tongue. It's what makes all Indian accents so instantly recognisable.one exception is the n with the dots. With the dot below it is pronounced retroflex, when above velar, so like an n in English before a k/c or g. The other is the m with the dot. In ancient times it marked that the preceeding vowel was nasalised, ie spoken "through" the nose, but this is not done anymore generally.
Absolutely gorgeous. First experience with Greek heavy music was Aphrodite's Child album 666. Apparently, Greece still makes amazing epic music. Hell yeah.
Not a lot of people will notice this. I absolutely love how the guitars were never palm muted during the whole song. That's a modern metal thing to do but this is not a metal song. It's a prayer. All the chords were allowed to play fully to respect the religious element of this song.
Great song as expected from RC, Therion also made a song depicting Hindu Culture with "Eye Of Shiva". Metal bands should explore more this wondrous culture.
its not! its just a one small thing taken into BM just like any other elements of any religion...dont forgett hindu culture it was given to them by WHITE ppl.. all knowleage their got is from whte european ppl...

Man I feel like I’m going to the temple in my hometown and the monk are singing death metal, no kidding the monk in Buddism mostly the pray in Bali Sanskrit
Wow, roots of my country of India. Jagannath is the name of Lord Shiva and is praised all over India. But what I like about Rotting Christ is taking this mythology and making it in such a way that it is pleasant to listen to. The language is probably Sanskrit which is one of the oldest languages in India
Everyone has an opinion about some or the other thing. Greek music is considered the best in the world. I have found temple noise to be very annoying, But it could be different from your perception as you see it the other way round
I had visited that temple a long time ago. It wasn't a right kind of place for me as staying in the temple itself was awkward and now don't visit any of the temples. But couldn't say much about the music I've listened to in it. Must be good bro

First time I came across this stuff. I am a die hard heavy metal fan. I love Eleine, Alisha White, Melisha and other metal singers. Can't believe to see some ancient hindu stuff. Tons of love from India. I heard Rotting Christ in Ancient Greek it is also a marvel.
just having one of my heaviest goosebumps after listening to this piece.
Its pre-classic form , Vedic Sanskrit ( the ritual language of the Vedic religion ) is one of the oldest members of the Indo-European family
figures it would be islam and destruction used in one sentence
Ilya Kuryakin where is islam written?

This is the "official" scientific way of transcribing Sanskrit as used in the video.
Hi baby
@@Vladokaza can you translate it for us?
Small pronounciation tip: The consonants with a dot beneath or above are pronounced "retroflex", meaning with a curled back tongue. It's what makes all Indian accents so instantly recognisable.one exception is the n with the dots. With the dot below it is pronounced retroflex, when above velar, so like an n in English before a k/c or g. The other is the m with the dot. In ancient times it marked that the preceeding vowel was nasalised, ie spoken "through" the nose, but this is not done anymore generally.
Thanks for the lyrics captain!
Shoutout from India!!!!!
You need to come on tour here!!!!

Absolutely gorgeous. First experience with Greek heavy music was Aphrodite's Child album 666. Apparently, Greece still makes amazing epic music. Hell yeah.
The spell of Shiva is about to be completed
Not a lot of people will notice this.
I absolutely love how the guitars were never palm muted during the whole song. That's a modern metal thing to do but this is not a metal song. It's a prayer.
All the chords were allowed to play fully to respect the religious element of this song.
This sound is extremely awesome for my spirit!
would look forward to hear more of "Rotting Christ" + "Rudra"
Akira
Yes all of them
The best art sound of my life, Rotting Christ is amazing they are the best of the best. Congratulations.... of brazil.
Great song as expected from RC, Therion also made a song depicting Hindu Culture with "Eye Of Shiva". Metal bands should explore more this wondrous culture.
Many bands from black metal scene . put hindu culture to their lyrics.
Over the years I've listened to this often. Easily one of my favourite songs.
No words can describe this! Unic masterpiece!
Listen to this while rock climbing, out of this world
Afghan boogie beast mode . That’s awesome
This is such an emotional piece of art .... Hail Shiva 👽👽🤘🏼🤘🏼

I’m here boys. With a voice like thunder. Thanks for the baptism by 🔥 Om Namo Shivaya
Hinduism is currently one of the most metal cultures out there other than the ancient pagans
lol
And the only pagan religion that has stood the test of times, CONVERT WE SHALL NOT (felt like gandalf when i typed that)
lol
alphamaydus more than Hinduism, it is Sanatan Spirituality 😃
its not! its just a one small thing taken into BM just like any other elements of any religion...dont forgett hindu culture it was given to them by WHITE ppl.. all knowleage their got is from whte european ppl...
Niespotykane połączenie kultur, stylu i świetnej muzyki!!! Genialny kawałek. Pozdrawiam. Chwała pogańskim Bogom!!!
Wspaniały utwór 🖤🖤🖤👍
This is my Sanatan, full of spirituality and Healing Energy that you can transform into any form by practicing. Nothing is more metal than Hinduism! OM NAMAH SHIVA, JAY MA KAALI
the best song i heard in this year
A very refined sound. Rotting Christ is really evolving. Fantastic cultural exploration and a similar sound to Xibalba great parallels. Also I might add the art in this video is fascinating.
Ι felt shivers down the spine ...

I felt Shiva down my spine. ❤
Man I feel like I’m going to the temple in my hometown and the monk are singing death metal, no kidding the monk in Buddism mostly the pray in Bali Sanskrit
Really strange feeling...imagine this to happen for real!
😅
buddhist monks pray in a language called Pali, this song is in Sanskrit
@@drabnail777 In Theravada Buddhism, Pali is used I believe. In other schools, probably Sanskrit.
This is amazing!!!! Hello from México🇲🇽
A black metal band singing about Lord Shiva. What more would I want?
Allah maybe?

Om Namah Shivaay 🙏 Jai Mahakal 🕉️
The energy from this music is incredible.
Love from Nepal ❤ addicted to this song
Wow, roots of my country of India. Jagannath is the name of Lord Shiva and is praised all over India. But what I like about Rotting Christ is taking this mythology and making it in such a way that it is pleasant to listen to. The language is probably Sanskrit which is one of the oldest languages in India
Lol. Irritating? Maybe you've not been to the right temples. It is quite sad that you''d outright generalise and disregard the origins so casually.
Everyone has an opinion about some or the other thing. Greek music is considered the best in the world. I have found temple noise to be very annoying, But it could be different from your perception as you see it the other way round
Pawan Raju why don't you visit ISKCON, your perception might change, brother
I had visited that temple a long time ago. It wasn't a right kind of place for me as staying in the temple itself was awkward and now don't visit any of the temples. But couldn't say much about the music I've listened to in it. Must be good bro
Ok sir
Oh wow y'all are like the heavenly angels choir this is unbelievable! No wonder there are so many tributes.
Yeah this is my 50th time rewatching in a row, what of it?
It’s probably everyone’s
This is my new go-to song for the coming years. Absolutely phenomenal.
