Johnny Gil was knock down, he got up again. Knock down , got up again. That is a true R & B warrior. He put his career first. Now that he is not singing, He is catching up with celebrities events. I still give him credit for the respect he gave to his fellow members in the beginning. Johnny Gil is still an artist and could climb the charts . if he stays with the love ballets. ❤❤❤

JOHNNY GILL was also very humble. He's always been professional and his eyes 👀 were always beautiful so is his skin. He definitely was a vital accent to New Edition who I loved since they came out when I was in 7th grade.

Johnny did take a lie detector test to prove he isn’t gay, but I don’t understand why it was anyone’s business if he was or not as if him being straight or gay was going to impact their lives. People need to worry about themselves. I am glad I didn’t remember when people said all that, but then again I didn’t care about what or whom makes people happy. Not my business.

I have always felt that when Johnny Gill came into New Edition brought the grown up sound to the group. And when they did Can You Stand The Rain. That is a really great song and Johnny Gill put the soul in that group.

Stacey Lattisaw had multiple hits since she was very young, not just one song or album and picked by the Jackson’s to be their opening act when MJ was huge in early 80s. She and her family are responsible for him getting him into the industry. Her last song was #1 duet with him (Where do we go from here) before she left industry in young 20s. Without her, likely few would know him.
