    Bought a 24 two weeks ago. I sometimes pick it over my 24 300 KTM. Great to learn pivot turns and slow wheelies on. Also funny to lead a ride in single track. With expensive orange wagons following you. Ha,ha.....great content by the way. Many facts in the vids

    I'm 6,2 160 lbs I just just sold my 2013 crf250r but I used the bike for woods. I want to know if the crf250f can climb good steep hills? I will be buying one soon.

    • @notsoupmoto
      @notsoupmoto  Месяц назад +1

      it definitely struggles with hill climbs. you need a lot of momentum for steep technical stuff however it can be done. it's super heavy so that can be a pain in the ass if you don't make it up a super steep hill and have to maneuver it back down. since the power deliver is quite consistent rather that snappy and hard hitting, it can be quite a tractor pulling up hills however. like i said you just need a lot of momentum for the really steep stuff

    • @troyater1609
      @troyater1609 24 дня назад +1

      Id say it can putter up pretty much any hill. First gear is a tractor. We have two and we can putter up steep hills surprisingly slow with no issue. it wont rip up them like a race bike but it will always make it if you don't make bad mistakes. The main downfall is it doesn't have the power really pop up the front wheel over 90 degree shelves on hill climbs, you can with a running start but its kinda brute forcing it. for your height you will definitely want bar risers and maybe to lift it an inch or so too. overall its a much better bike than the R for woods.

    I recently bought a CRF230F to ride with my son (TTR125). My 230F is a fun bike and is enough for me to get back into riding. It's not as powerful as an R or RX but I'm not racing either. I'll probably pass it to him when he outgrows the TTR and look at a CRF250F or maybe a WR250F or CRF250RX.

    • @notsoupmoto
      @notsoupmoto  Месяц назад +1

      that would be an awesome stepping stone for your son for sure! the wr was on my list when I was looking into dual sports but never got the chance to ride one. looks like a really nice bike! have fun rippin with your son!

      Definitely a good plan. Had both. both are great bikes but the 250f is just a bit beefier all around, the fuel injection is great, and the disk rear brake makes a big difference. Great aftermarket for both as well.

    Hola. Te escribo desde Uruguay. Tengo una CRF250F y me parece que es más que una moto para aprender a manejar. Es una máquina muy digna para paseos cortos o largos y para divertirnos por mucho tiempo si no pretender correr profesionalmente. Es de gran calidad y muy personalizable. Mido 1,8 metros de alto y peso 100 kilogramos y puedo usarla perfectamente sin modificaciones, aunque le coloqué alzador de manubrio y voy a ponerle alzador de suspensión.
    Hace una semana la usé en un paseo de 70 kilómetros en colinas y barro y no gastó toda la gasolina y no me cansé para nada.-
    Un saludo y espero que el traductor pueda traducir mejor que mi inglés (por eso escribo en español)

      Gracias por el mensaje! Estoy de acuerdo de todo que escribiste sobre la máquina. Eso paseo de que te mencionaste suena muy divertido!
      Entendí perfectamente tu mensaje jaja
      Puedo hablar español un poquito y entender más
      Saludos desde los estados unidos y que disfrutes la moto en Uruguay! Espero visitar este país en el futuro!

    Is there a rider weight limit for the crf 250f?

      Is there a 450f version? I’m a bit overweight for the 250f

    • @notsoupmoto
      @notsoupmoto  Месяц назад

      @@xBlackHawkxBlackHawk they do not make a 450f unfortunately but you could look into upgrading the suspension on the 250f or even check out the 250r or 250rx models if you want to stick with honda. Although there are plenty of other options with different manufacturers out there too

    • @jamescoburn6191
      @jamescoburn6191 Месяц назад

      Your primary concern is gonna be suspension so you could probably just get stiffer springs but if you’re not too far over that 220lb weight limit I wouldn’t worry. I weigh 240lb and my smallest bike is a Yamaha ttr125L that I use as a stunt bike and trail beater and to let less experienced folk ride on. The only mods on the ttr are a BBR frame cradle and taller/wider bars. I’ve had no problems exceeding the weight limit of several bikes.
