I hope you don't mind if I ask what you smoked and how much roughly? The problem with any addiction is it's a vice that people enjoy to some degree or at least did initially. I personally think that "almost" all vices should be looked at very much the same way. Take a long enough break to get your body, heart and mind back to health. You'll see that you come to enjoy clarity and in many ways feel recharged/reborn, then get to a place where your strong enough accept it for what it is, you might find that your never able to go back to it for various reasons. But there is a lot to be said for the enjoyment, stress relief, feelings that various "vices" can help with. The problem is it's very easy for the odd ritual to become habitual. Obviously a lot easier said than done especially when it comes to certain highly addictive ones, although they say sugar is considerably more addictive than cocaine and certainly not healthy for us. Yesterday was my 100th day since quitting cold turkey. I managed to do it by telling myself I will just have one later. But Yesterday, we celebrated with nice dinner, and making a big deal about the days like this seems like it will make it impossible for me to go back to smoking, the sense of accomplishment so that there is actually something there not worth throwing away. And I went and socialized with friends who smoke, the place i used to chainsmoke, and kept strong. I came home, and I couldn't even bring my jacket into the house because of the stink! Doesn't smell good to me anymore, tastes gross, expensive,... you know all the reasons it is STUPID! The cigarettes really did make me "low" I would have to lay down 10 minutes after feeling like crap! Then your subconscious begins to question you, asking you why your destroying yourself!?
"Look at my eyes, I'm always stoned" ; funny at first glance, yet very deep. Thank you for this spiritual perspective, looking forward to quit after 15 years !
I haven’t touch liquor since last one month and I have drastically reduced my smoking and in the process of quitting from today. I am 50 years now and smoking since last 35 years. This time I am really quitting for good. And I haven't smoke for 40 days now and withdrawal are all gone now.

Nicotine was a heavy addiction for me. I quit 17 years ago. It was not easy, I returned a few times to the habit, even after half a year of non smoking. But once I did 2 years I knew for sure, that I will never ever go back again.
Psychedelics would help you achieve this feat more easily. You can go see how Psilocybin mushrooms can help with addiction control then come let me be your plug.
I've quit drugs. You can quit cigarettes, trust me! :) Also alcohol. Ive benn clean for 2 years now, and it feels amazing! You can do it too! Stop finding excuses !
I quit a year ago after a big battle against nicotine addiction for 15 years , i actually tried to stop before for 3 months but went back to nicotine, now im 1 year smoke free, what really convinced me to stop nicotine in all its forms is the fact that a non smokers mood is better then a smoker even while the smoker is smoking his cig and getting that buzz a non smoker is still feeling better unbelievable right?! I thought it was a joke and i said to myself let me quit smoking and find out and i can tell you this, me quitting nicotine is the best thing i ever did in my life i feel free i breath air instead of chemicals and smoke i feel very confident and my mood is very good dont get irritated or sad or angry quickly like when i was a nicotine addict, its amazing feeling i know you can do it just convince your mind and brain that nicotine brings stress and then traps you in a nicotine withdrawal stress your whole life if you dont quit

Don't think it's easy Because they already completely addicted to it There are many couples who taken divorce just because the husband have smoking habit and she don't like that smell And there are many families suffering economically also because people who earn very less amount per day and they spent a quarter of it for drinking and family face every negative consequences It's all because they know that's bad that's the reason for problems but addicted if he gets any irritation or frustration or any sad feeling again he approaches that way because that's give him somewhat relief Because he have never experienced a Great feeling that that feeling which comes by their addiction As my opinion 80 percent of people are having addictions Good or bad addiction is not good There are people with good addictions still ruined life because they can't quit It's time bring higher experiences in life without intervention of outside substances Yoga meditation and right food Right sleeping habits Enough life automatically comes into our hands May be you have high self restraining capability that's why you don't think it's tough to quit those addictions

You can do isha kriya or someother meditation techniques .It will be easier..I used to smoke now I don't..
Hey gl ..
It's been 55 days since I had my last drink.

Finally quit smoking weed, on my second month. The next thing to quit is drinking and nicotine. It’s been hard because of my situations but I know I’ll pull through
did you see an impromvet when you quit the weed?
Quit kratom 3 months ago, now I'm about ready to quit nicotine too. We'll do it together :)
You got this!!!💪🏾
Have you stopped

Did you stay on track?
I felt so incredibly calm while watching this
Thanku Sadhguru for making our live happier and blissfull.
Sadguru is right! But my father stopped smoking using another way! He stopped smoking just with sheer conviction and will power! But on his face quitting smoking felt so easy.
After watching this video, I am well motivated and have decided to quit smoking. This is my first day😊
Thanks for this great video

Nicotine was a heavy addiction for me. I quit 17 years ago. It was not easy, I returned a few times to the habit, even after half a year of non smoking. But once I did 2 years I knew for sure, that I will never ever go back again.
Really wish I could stop 🚬
I quit a week ago. 32 years of smoking. I'm putting this here as it helps to share my words. I can do this!
Psychedelics would help you achieve this feat more easily. You can go see how Psilocybin mushrooms can help with addiction control then come let me be your plug.

How i want to i need to for my health and its costing to much
I quit a year ago after a big battle against nicotine addiction for 15 years , i actually tried to stop before for 3 months but went back to nicotine, now im 1 year smoke free, what really convinced me to stop nicotine in all its forms is the fact that a non smokers mood is better then a smoker even while the smoker is smoking his cig and getting that buzz a non smoker is still feeling better unbelievable right?!
Great words! Thanks!
its day one without smoking weed.
wish me luck on this journey to a better life.

Seriously guys. I quit all addictions like smoking and drinking coffee or tea or any nerve stimulants! And now I can see clearly. There’s a high when you can see better, feel better, taste better. There is tremendous high 😊
The best talk on weed and smoking everrr , the one who would pick even 10% of what he said , would quit smoking for sure .
Every word he says is just priceless 🙏
I have been a father for nearly 3 years now and a husband of 7 while I have been smoking for over 10 years. I am very aware I am stealing time away from them when I choose to go off and have a cigerette which takes away life from me and time away from them when my top5 most important aspects of life is health(mind, body, spirit), fatherhood , being a good husband , friendships & career. I need to stop lowering my quality of life. Thank you Sadhguru for your wisdom and knowledge.
Ok. Here. Thank you for helping me.
I quit smoking last night. It’s been almost 24 hours. Weed and nicotine. I want to introduce myself without a scented filter. Without glossy eyes. And with more energy. It doesn’t bring your life up it brings it low. Like he said anything you become dependent on isn’t any good. I GOT THIS! And so do you!!!

Its been 3 months i quit smoking and its easy, just requires the Will power n motivation! I was a smoker for 10 years but I did it! Starting few days could be tough but once u r into 4th week , u hv said goodbye to cigs. Also, I achieved it with the minimal use of nicotex. I used 7 tablets in the first month, that’s it! Now i feel proud of myself! Will definitely pen down this milestone in near time.

Looking for help to stop smocking, and this video helped. I want to be like before ❤️❤️
Have quited smoking
I quit smoking and drinking at 2022 16 June. That makes a little bit over 4 months now and i feel strong!
I think I can take of smoking after this great argument.
No arguments can't do anything
You may gain somewhat information about it but nothing else
Instead just do yoga, meditation, right food, right sleeping patterns.
Automatically you give up yourself any addiction
alaje777
I did one session of Hatha Yoga and my body just didn't felt like smoking, 1 session reduced the compulsion 3/4, it's amazing.
I don't know why people ask how can quit smoking... If I wanted stop so it arrived from inside of me like a decision. I threw pack of cigarettes to bin and it was everything how I stopped smoking. 🤦♀️🙈😅😅😅❤ All others things are excuses going out of mind. Like a: "I should stop smoking." But yoga was helpful...🙈
Don't think it's easy
Because they already completely addicted to it
There are many couples who taken divorce just because the husband have smoking habit and she don't like that smell
And there are many families suffering economically also because people who earn very less amount per day and they spent a quarter of it for drinking and family face every negative consequences
It's all because they know that's bad that's the reason for problems but addicted if he gets any irritation or frustration or any sad feeling again he approaches that way because that's give him somewhat relief
Because he have never experienced a Great feeling that that feeling which comes by their addiction
As my opinion 80 percent of people are having addictions
Good or bad addiction is not good
There are people with good addictions still ruined life because they can't quit
It's time bring higher experiences in life without intervention of outside substances
Yoga meditation and right food
Right sleeping habits
Enough life automatically comes into our hands
May be you have high self restraining capability that's why you don't think it's tough to quit those addictions
explain me pls. Due to Yoga is there any punishment for bad people (for example criminals) while life and after the death?
If I say "I love you"my faculty will go up or down....(:--)
That word stupidity stood in my mind and I am proud to say the moment I completed watching this video I made my mind to quit smoking right immediately and it’s been 2 months since I away stopped smoking can’t tell how I feel motivated and happy about it .. thank you Sadguru ji for inspiring me and guiding me the do something good for myself and my family
The problem of bad habits like smoking, drinking or doing drugs fundamentally fault of our memory.
03 January 2023. I know it's a little late for resolutions but I'm ready for mine. I've been smoking weed and cigarettes for 4 years. My attempts to quit have been countless. The stress to finally give it up and live to see the best version of myself is growing each day. I feel weak mentally, physically and financially but today I am inspired to change. I will change today. Now. I will be happy, healthy and clean by 31 December 2023. Wish me luck! I'm going to do it. I know you can too.

Through listening to and watching Prof Sadhguru talk, I am able to identify that a majority of us do things not aware of the reasons around that. But I am glad that he is able to bring light to us, instead of judging, he offers a way for reasoning and putting one in a spot for reflection.
