Mary, You will want to take the lessons from SRF Mother Center, Mount Washington, CA., then apply after 6 months for 'Kriya' meditation technique, the Kriya practice will take you to the higher state of meditation awareness (awakening). Please read Autobiography of a Yogi, by Paramahansa Yogananda, chapter 26 The Science of Kriya Yoga.

Lost my mom 4 days ago on 21st January. She was suffering from advanced colon cancer throughout the last year and inspite of getting treatment she couldn't make it and passed away at an age of 46. Maa, may your soul rest in peace and please give me strength so that I can fulfill your dream by becoming a good doctor. Thanks mom for everything and I promise I will make you proud in future.

My father .. I wasn't there with him but that day I cried hopelessly , No one told me about him until a week later when I came back to see him .Last I saw him was before leaving . It didn't left any hole in me .It shattered me completely. The truth is I survived 5 heart attacks and am improving only because of your videos available on the internet . He resembled you completely .🙏

The feelings of sadness are just moments of love that I will never get to give to you again. I hope that one day we will meet again. Until then I will carry this hole as a reminder of the person I was because of you. See you soon dad

Dealing with loss of parent is a crushing experience...I'm 30 years old, I've not been myself ever since my mom left us. The grief struck me physically, emotionally and mentally. I've not been able to focus on life as it is. I pray to God, to keep everyone's mom alive and well. So that they don't have to live with unresolved feelings and unfulfilled dreams. As many of you mentioned earlier, I do feel the resentment deeply towards God for not answering my prayers..not sure what to pray for anymore. Just being there for my dad n brother. But can't deny everyday thought does cross my mind that it should've been me not her..

You being here is no accident. Just make you mom proud by being the best person you can be. She is not gone, she is just absent. Losing a close loved one is like driving a nail into a post. You can remove the nail, but the hole remains. Fill that hole with love and you will be fine. I send much love to you❣️🥰

My greatest fear through life was losing my parents, when it did happen it wasn’t as bad as I imagined, it was worse. Nobody ever tells you about the vacuum created, the deep and powerful void which then exists after they go. You don’t ever get over it, but you do get used to it, the void starts to fill but never completely. So much pain and suffering is caused not by death itself, but our attempts to deny its existence.

I remember my parents with a smile, the happiness that they brought to my life. I enjoy being a recluse and hopefully I will start my journey to travel the World again. Love, respect and be kind to people and when they are gone they are gone for ever. Each day, create beautiful memories and live your life as if it is the last day on Earth. Parents always want happiness for their children, so start living your life and make them proud on the other side as soul never dies!

Sadhguru, we understand life is mortal but grief becomes so much a part of life.. please post some videos on how to cope with grief better, thanks

My grandfather died when I was 18 years old, I remember the next day I went to school and I didn't talk to anyone, I kept my self alone for about a week and tried to withdraw as much as I can, it may seemed strange, but at that time for me somehow it felt right. After watching this video now I know why it was the right thing to do and probably it was the thing that saved me. My grandfather was very close to me he was like a father to me, I learned a lot from him... He will always be a part of me.

I lost my grandparents 8 months apart both from lung cancer when I was 23. They raised me. My grandma was basically my mom my grandpa a second father. I took care of them full time and was always super close to them from the day I was born. That physical pain you feel is unbearable and indescribable. I’m 26 now and there are days when the grief will pop up as the day when they died and I will feel that pain. I miss them daily. I think I will always at some points feel that pain as the grief pops up over the rest of my life. It will probably lessen, but never completely stop. I just love them so much. so true.
And I would disagree with Sadhguru completely on a few things... one of them being distractions. It's ok to distract yourself for a short while and have family and friends do stuff for you. We need to know that this is temporary and ultimately we will have to sit with ourselves alone and deal with our pain, but I also think it's ok to use crutches here and there as we get through what is one of the worst possible things to happen to us emotionally. Give yourself the space to not do all the right things, call on friends and neighbours if you need.

Take care of them very carefully just like we take care of our own childrens ,even our aged parents r our own children, I say dis bcuz recently I lost my beloved daughter (mom) .. once gone and never she ll return ...but death is also bitter truth...stay blessed

Why do u want to see them in misery? Life is not easy for 100-year-olds. May parents live a full and happy life .Not a life that's too long filled with pain .

May her departed soul rest in heaven with peace. May she achieve every happiness in the world which none has experienced. May she is living the life of queen in heaven with lots of positive souls. May she becomes the most happiest person ever. Don't feel alone without her. Feel like she is the owner of this planet and we are living on it. She is unexplainable. She is a queen. This is her era and we are living on it. She is a mother of the world and specially she is loving you

I lost my mother yesterday to radiotherapy side effects after she got the all clear of being cancer free. However, the doctor was going to inform her that the cancer was back on Monday. I'm glad she never got to hear that it would have broken her. Thanks for the video. rip mum, I love you❤
