@@thehurricanegodthe problem isn't about the OP but about how to c6 them. Xiangling has been released since the launch of the game. So by now a lot of players have alrdy c6 her. But chevreuse has only appeared on one banner in total. To c6 her u need insane luck or lot amount of pulls. But majority of players pulls only for 5* on the banner and she is on navia banner which a lot of people probably skipped her. So a lot of people at most only have c0 chevreuse which makes her c6 far from regular and is even further than c0 5*. Correction: chevreuse was on raiden/yoimiya banner. Which a lot of players should have alrdy have them. Which makes people pulling on that banner even lower than navia.

@@thehurricanegod xiangling is a free launch char though, and cons are both in the shop and available during every lantern rite. +due to age she's been in a bunch of banners (including the current one), it's pretty realistic for an average f2p to already have c6 chevreuse on the other hand is new, has only been on one banner and has never been given for free. if you didn't pull during that banner chances are very low you even have her, let alone cons. most f2p, even veterans probably won't be able to replicate the team

But on the other hand, I think it can be done with different 4 star teams without chevreuse, for example, setting up a hyperbloom or aggravate team on the first floor may be a good choice, melt teams can also be preferred on the second floor, even the burgeon team in the video seems more suitable for the 2nd part.

@@ahmadabdelwahhab3863they probably used crit rate circlet. 38K HP is easy to achieve for Yaoyao, she has high base hp and has hp% bonus ascension. Mine with 4 tenacity with triple hp% almost 44K HP.
Quickbloom works in 2nd half. Dendro rips through electro shields and the hydro unit takes care of the pyro shield, and the electro unit takes care of the cryo (and pyro) shield(s).
I swear hahaha Minding the final floor of chamber 2, I was prepared to have a Burgeon Team (to deal with the pesky shields of the last boss in floor 3 chamber 2), but then those fatui agents at floor one is so resistant to my damage. There's the mirror maiden who is resistant against my two hydro units, pyro gunslinger who keeps dashing backwards, and nahida who dies easily when I try to play her on-field with Yelan as bloom generator.
I did the first two floor .. and the floor 1 wasn’t easy and second one is worse 😅 now I am shucked at floor 3 for the 36 stars I need to wait for better cards bonus and it’s going to be okay but it’s hell 😢
I mean,for the average joe you might not get max stars in floor 12 but if you get atleast 2 per floor you only lose out on like 50 primos,aint nothing to lose sleep about

listening to him complain how it took him 2 hours to complete the abyss with 4 stars. meanwhile, i'm out here with my skill issue, 3 years in with some decent 5 stars, still unable to 36 star the abyss. 🙃
Don't feel too bad, sometimes it takes a few tries. Also, his artifacts are cracked. Update: honestly one of the easiest abyss 36* I've done. Xiangling is the true carry this patch...again. Just try it and you'll get the hang of it, definitely bring a lot of pyro.

@@Sirindilableim a day one player and even i sometimes cant perfect clear abyss. It usually takes some testing with diff teams to find what works best. But most people dont have access to multiple chars to work with.

I think I'll do the inverse of what you did: I'll do overload on 1st half, and burgeon on 2nd. Overload will kill Triple Kenki and Coppelius very fast while ALSO not kicking them around. Burgeon has dendro, pyro and hydro for all the shield breakig needs of 2nd side, while having aoe that DOESNT kick enemies around.

Used a Raiden, Furina, Xiangling and Bennet team for the first half (Raiden C0, Furina C1), and an hyperbloom with Nahida (C0), Xingqiu, Fischl and Kuki on the second half. The first team is really fast and leave enough time to take care of the double electro shield on the 12-2-2. Plus, double electro is pretty fast against the cryo shield of the baptist. Abyss is always designed to benefit current banner on sales. 4.7 will be filled with pyro resistance enemy and pyro lectors. Goodluck using arle there.

Thanks for the guide, i wasnt sure what teams to run at first and was gonna try Arle overload first half because the 12-3-2 shields scared me but you showing it can work anyway was really helpful. Ended up going with Navia, Albedo, Furina and Kokomi for first half and Arle, Fischl, Chevvy (c0 because PAIN) and Beidou for 2nd. Another 36 star abyss letsgo
I would be glad to have Chevy C0 for my Arle :(, I use also Navia and Arle. Arle first half (with yelan kazuha and Zhongli) and Navia second half (with furina xianling and bennett)
@RuffledFox I pulled on chevvy's banner and I was so lucky to get her, pulling for 4 stars is such a painnnnn. During 4.4 I wanted ONE Faruzan because I had c5 and I won my 50/50 for xianyun only to get Faruzan ONE pull after her. I don't really like plunging but she's good for exploration so it wasn't a total loss at least. I really hope you get Chevvy one day, she's very fun.

12-2-2 is pain in the ass... it was so random for me when it comes to group heralds, but somehow after x try I did it properly. My second mistake was trying to run double pyro instead of my strongest team in 12-1. Also I still didn't built Xiangling properly so there is that too...

I wish they would add some fun new endgame modes instead of just coming up with the most annoying floors for abyss. I’ve been clearing Swarm V lately in HSR and having some fun doing it. Genshin feels archaic now.
Are they tho? As far as I remember, inquisitous baptist or whatever that mf is, has a cryo shield which Neuvillette teams generally can’t break due to the lack of pyro characters.
In case anyone forgets that Zhongli's burst exists like I usually do, it + his hold skill can get rid of most of Coppelius's shield quite easily without having to waste much skill/burst uptime on any other character.
Wait really? That's surprsing considering they are Designed around those fontain Units often. Zhonghli is just such a good character. Just for all those mechanics. He helped me through Geo Abyss and the Itto Geo Boss as well and is also good in non-geo situations or just that enmies don't get apart. Losing another element can be devastating though in my eyes he does have nagatives.
9:05 I passed the abyss 12 with 9 stars without problems until this impossible abyss arrived, the 2 Abyss Electro Reader on floor 12-2-2 cannot be eliminated in time, their shields are unbreakable and they eliminate the burst very quickly, my best DPS pyro is Arlecchino, I tried to pass him without shields and he dies after 30 seconds because his burst is removed and he can no longer heal, I tried another team with Xiangling + Furina and he lacks pyro damage... I will definitely stop playing this abyss until he arrives Natlan, this abyss forces me to use characters that I don't have...
Just wanted to leave a comment here to tell people to USE SUCROSE SECOND HALF! No matter what team, running her is great(driver, res shred, CC) and especially with that 4-star only overload team second half, she is the best there!
for everyone sseing this, if you dont want to run pyro on top just change the sword from the quest to ousia and give to to: Jean, Kazuha, Traveller or any other sword wielder you can fit on the top team, 1 hit from the sword and the shield instantly tops even with it being level 1.

They can't switch of their constellations and they need them for other content. Also, I'd hate to be that guy, but if he's just cutting it with C6 4-stars, chances are you can't 36-star without them. R.I.P. your luck on Xiangling and Xingqiu pulls. I started at 1.3 and they've been C6 for at least a year now, though I was strategically pulling to get them.
@@RezDK And it'd take 2 years. You don't use the shop to C4 Xianging from C0. But if you're at C3, and you do run teams than use her, then it could be worthwhile to get that last con. And if you are at C3 and could have shopped to C4, but chose not to, then, well, then that was your choice. That said, the content creators can't turn the cons off, and even if they could, then there would still be people complaining about how they are using weapons that are RNG dependent or the RNG dependent four stars. Oh, and that the artifacts they are using are too good. The simple reality is that these are not hand-holding guides. These four star clears are there to show that it can be done. However, it is expected that you'll run your own teams, with some of whatever five stars you have and such. The important thing to take from these guides is not what characters are used, but rather, why they are used, what enemy mechanics there are, and how positioning can let you do things like group enemies.
Having no Chevreuse really sucks for this abyss. Keqing and Fischl aggravate breezed through 12-1-1 and 12-2-1, even including Coppelia's Cryo shield, but the second half Hyperbloom wasn't cutting it for the Electro lectors and the Baptist's cryo shield.
Having no Chevrolet or Kuki is pretty much no 36* this abyss. Hyperbloom raiden is completely powerless if she doesn't have her burst ready against the baptist's cryo shield.
For a 4-star only clear I used overload side1, national side2. Overload was Fischl-Beidou-Thoma-C3 Chevy. The operatives are horrible without a grouper, so to maintain sanity you pretty much want to build some Sucrose-based team for side2. Then lectors mandate pyro/cryo. Then Baptist too. So national is kinda natural.
this abyss kinda hard when u lack characters/Constellations still cant 36 star it. Tried every character but the electro shields so hard to shred. guess ill just wait for the next Abyss rotation and just stop at 34 stars for the meantime.
Same here. I have completed the last abbys, but there are a lot of long waves of enemies in this one and it's very frustrating to reset and try again. 34 stars and I think the reward of the pain of 2 more stars doesn't worth it 😅
Mixed feelings about this one. I don't like when there are hyper specific requirements for shields etc, hard counter mechanics are never fun. At the same time, these sides do allow quite a bit of flexibility other than wanting pyro. I guess not the worst of the harder abyss cycles
I used 1: Zhongli, Arlecchino, Raiden Shogun, Kuki 2: Xiangling, Xingqui, Yelan, YaoYao. I only got 3 stars, but with my potato, I was happy to get them. I actually found grouping the preacher dudes to not be advantageous since they sapped my bursts too easily that way. I would just get them close enough that I wasn't running all over the place, but not right on top of each other
I preffered the previous Abyss. Mainly because I'm not planning on getting a 5 star Pyro DPS until the Pyro Archon comes out. It feels like Hoyo is locking Primogems behind "you must pull 5 star Pyro right now" so that you don't have enough Primogems when the Pyro Archon does wome out. And no, 4 star Pyro units don't count because they need too much investments and constellations to do the same job the 5 star equivalents do.

This abyss finally made me use my premium ayaka team for those electro heralds, but after seeing her in action against other regular mobs in the abyss il think about actually using it more
1st half: Nahida, Nilou, Kokomi, Furina. Furina is here to break the Icewind's shield instantly. Remember that meme where Nahida is "I'm in danger" between her 40k HP teammates and Nilou is there exploding nukes in front of her? Now add Furina just to see the cabbage archon suffer more. Ehe~ 2nd half: Raiden, Yelan, Bennett, Xiangling. Nothing new, it's just to deal with the last boss' shields without a sweat. Deals with the rest of the floors quite efficiently too.
I used Cyno Furina Nahida Baizhu on the first half, and the only thing I had to care about was using Furina's normal attack to break the Coppelius shields. Luckily the timings coppelius puts up the shield just line up with Cyno's downtime so you can do it at the end of cycling through supports! For 2nd half I used Ayato soup team with Kazuha Fischl and Bennett. Nothing much to say about this one, just make sure you use kazuha's burst inside of Bennett's burst for pyro infusion and everything should get deleted with otherwise normal gameplay!
Are you gonna do a Arlecchino build guide? I know you did one where you explained her kit and a small c0 showcaase, but I'd love an actual guide comparing weapons, artifacts, etc.! Edit: im aware of the details guys, I just love seeing all the calculations and numbers for every weapon artifacts etc lol
her best weapons: signature weapon, homa, primordial jade and after that, 3star white tassel. For artifact choices, signature artifacts is obviously better but if you dont have you can give 4 piece gladiator which is great option for her, if you dont have gladiator you can give shimenawa's temporarily. And substats should be atk sands, pyro goblet, rate or dmg circlet according to your stats. For teams her best c0 team is bennett, kazuha, yelan. If you dont have yelan or cant use without shielder, you can use xingqiu, zhongli or even layla whom is great options.
Great teams recommendations from IWTL! I'd actly suggest to swap the team sides as to what he used. So probably use the burgeon team on 2nd half, or even a hyperbloom team there should work
first half - yao yao , furina , xinqui , kuki second half - neuvi , bennet , nahida , kazuha ( the first half team performed very well i felt it was the best hyperbloom team i have used and furina will break the cryo shield of the copllieus in an instant , the second half was pretty good too but had to dodge few shots )
It was quite hard for me, i cant imagine running 4 star only. But pyro absolutely dominates this abyss cycle. I ran hutao plunge first half magu kenki melted, 2nd half was arlechinno national was finally enough for those electo shields with triple pyro
No need to waste time for just 50-100 extra primogems every 2 weeks, it's just bad for your mental health. Abyss is pure cancer and has a high dependence on great artifacts for high dps, which is another cancer on its own that also requires an insane amount of time investment.
i’m currently banging my head against a wall trying to do exactly that… i keep missing the 12-2 clear by a few seconds. it’s absolutely a skill issue unfortunately (and also occasionally a ping issue lol)
I just finished the abyss right now while I am in my 15 minute break in my work and this is what I will say, fck 12-3 first chamber where there are 4 waves of enemies. They purposely did that floor to stall you for the 2nd chamber like wtf. Good thing my Neuvillette is strong enough to kill that boss.
This..... was a really difficult abyss 12. I like it. Unfortunately, I know a lot of friends who are gonna rage. They already struggled getting 33+ stars the previous abyss hahaha
The teams that worked for me were the Neuvi-Furina in the First half, and Alhaitham Hyperbloom in the second half. If necessary Kazuha Furinational might also work for the first and third Chamber I think🤔
It would make 100% more sense if you switched teams. Overload team would have no issue at all with the shields in 1st half. and the Burgeon team would have no issues at all with the shields in 2nd half.
@@sleepyhead_648 yeah, in the sense that I have her functioning on a burgeon team. However, I keep her build balanced and well rounded with a 4-pc Voroushka set. She's not a burgeon one trick pony. I have her functioning as a balanced burgeon/Sub DPS/burst support/support for now, but will start to explore her as main DPS soon when I get better artifacts.
Arlecchino made quick work of this abyss. Arle c0 r1 pjws 4 glad na tl 9, benny c6 r1 mistsplitter 4 noblesse, kazuha c0 r1 fs 4 vv (952 em), zl c0 4 totm. This was with the na & ca dmg +15% (or was it +20%, idk) abyss card. Arle cleared 12-1-1 in 23 seconds. 12-2-1 & 12-3-1 both in under 50 seconds. I'm blown
C6 of a 4 Star unit who has only been on one single banner and who performs completely differently at C6 should *not* be considered "free to play friendly," sorry. The average amount of wishes for one particular rate up 4 star on any given banner is 40 wishes. This means even if you lost 50/50 for the 5 star unit and also went to 80-ish wishes both times on a single banner, the average player would still only have C3 Chevreuse in 160 wishes. And that's not even counting the people who didn't pull on that banner. So yeah, sorry, but C6 Chevreuse is, at present, completely unrealistic for a F2P showcase. But appreciate the effort nonetheless.
I used Raiden/Xiangling/Bennet/Chevreuse first half and Kuki/Furina/Nahida/Xinqui Second half. Those Kenkis one shot my Raiden my first try ngl😭😭 but some tips I have are, try to get the kenki's to second phase at the same time so you can dodge them all easily, preferably at the end of your rotation too. And if you can bring an Ousia character for first half to easily break Copellius' shield, for me it was Chevreuse but Furina and even Lynnette works. I think burgeon would probably do better than Hyperbloom in the second half but I don't have any burgeon characters built so... Good luck to all of you trying this abyss!
For the first half, i used hyperbloom comp, i just equip the the sword we got from that one fontaine quest for kuki, one normal attk to disable the robot couple’s shield easily
As someone who has lots of characters despiet being f2p was able to complete this abyss with ease, time does it`s thing At first started top half with Nilou bloom and was pissed after realising that it`s Copelius, not Copelia, so I used Xingqiu, Hu Tao, Yelan, Zhongly - Top Half Furina, Neuvillette, Kazuha, Bennet (for shields) - Bottom Half After that tried to change my Nilou team and did 2 more runs Furina, Nilou, Nahida, Baizhu / Xingqiu, Hu Tao, Kazuha, Bennet Furina, Nilou, Nahida, Baizhu / Neuvillette, Kazuha, Bennet, Zhongly Sadly, if you are Nilou enjoyer you are screwed unless you have Furina, or, I guess, Kaveh, but I still gonna test him, cause I'm not sure how efficient claymors is in breaking Copelius shield and whether they can break that Avatar's cryo shield. Oh, just remembered, that hydro mc exist, but that's just cope. Hu Tao works great on both sides, I guess 'cause abyss is designed for Arlechino. Neuvillette is great as ever, still gonna test him on top half, but doubt their could be any problems. Ayaka... Please don`t... Without her signature was just unable to clear top halh of last abyss on time, and it seems this one isn`t much better. If you use Lynnete or Furina there is chance for top half, but Coplius has insane cryo res, so it`s kinada sad, and bottom half requires pyro, so no freez :( Still gona test Alhaitham, but it seems there will be no problems. Will test Wanderer and Xiao, IF I WILL GET THOSE HECKING FARUZAN CONS. I guess thats it, can update if anyone is interested.
It took me 2 runs. I used neuvi, kazuha, furina and bennett on the first half to deal with the cryo shield of coppelius. For the second half I first took bennett, nahida, yelan, xiangling for the baptist. After that, since I didn't get full stars on the 12-2, I went with alhaitham, nahida, yelan, kuki for more dmg to 36 star it.
i found international and hutao double hydro to be comfortable this abyss, both are pyro teams so they excel :3 (though obviously arle makes a good sidegrade to hutao, they fufill the same role, i just dont have her >.
Honestly, C6 Chevreuse is the furthest from a "regular" 4 star there is right now, at least for another year.

Minding the final floor of chamber 2, I was prepared to have a Burgeon Team (to deal with the pesky shields of the last boss in floor 3 chamber 2), but then those fatui agents at floor one is so resistant to my damage. There's the mirror maiden who is resistant against my two hydro units, pyro gunslinger who keeps dashing backwards, and nahida who dies easily when I try to play her on-field with Yelan as bloom generator.
@@bst6677 just completed the abyss, and they are easily countered by dendro, hydro and pyro combo. And later for the boss it helps very much.
I did the first two floor .. and the floor 1 wasn’t easy and second one is worse 😅 now I am shucked at floor 3 for the 36 stars I need to wait for better cards bonus and it’s going to be okay but it’s hell 😢
I cleared this abyss but I gotta say 12 -2 is wayyyy annoying than the 12 -1
10:10 I think there was an abyss 12 where they summon 4 waves of ruin enemies. 2 waves of ruin guards, and them the ruin sentinels.

Update: honestly one of the easiest abyss 36* I've done. Xiangling is the true carry this patch...again. Just try it and you'll get the hang of it, definitely bring a lot of pyro.

I think I'll do the inverse of what you did: I'll do overload on 1st half, and burgeon on 2nd.
Overload will kill Triple Kenki and Coppelius very fast while ALSO not kicking them around. Burgeon has dendro, pyro and hydro for all the shield breakig needs of 2nd side, while having aoe that DOESNT kick enemies around.
You're right about the overload team. Used Arlecchino, Fischl and Chevreuse on that side and easily cleared it.

Used a Raiden, Furina, Xiangling and Bennet team for the first half (Raiden C0, Furina C1), and an hyperbloom with Nahida (C0), Xingqiu, Fischl and Kuki on the second half. The first team is really fast and leave enough time to take care of the double electro shield on the 12-2-2. Plus, double electro is pretty fast against the cryo shield of the baptist. Abyss is always designed to benefit current banner on sales. 4.7 will be filled with pyro resistance enemy and pyro lectors. Goodluck using arle there.

Thanks for the guide, i wasnt sure what teams to run at first and was gonna try Arle overload first half because the 12-3-2 shields scared me but you showing it can work anyway was really helpful.
Ended up going with Navia, Albedo, Furina and Kokomi for first half and Arle, Fischl, Chevvy (c0 because PAIN) and Beidou for 2nd. Another 36 star abyss letsgo
I would be glad to have Chevy C0 for my Arle :(, I use also Navia and Arle. Arle first half (with yelan kazuha and Zhongli) and Navia second half (with furina xianling and bennett)
@RuffledFox I pulled on chevvy's banner and I was so lucky to get her, pulling for 4 stars is such a painnnnn. During 4.4 I wanted ONE Faruzan because I had c5 and I won my 50/50 for xianyun only to get Faruzan ONE pull after her. I don't really like plunging but she's good for exploration so it wasn't a total loss at least.
I really hope you get Chevvy one day, she's very fun.

12-2-2 is pain in the ass... it was so random for me when it comes to group heralds, but somehow after x try I did it properly.
My second mistake was trying to run double pyro instead of my strongest team in 12-1. Also I still didn't built Xiangling properly so there is that too...

In case anyone forgets that Zhongli's burst exists like I usually do, it + his hold skill can get rid of most of Coppelius's shield quite easily without having to waste much skill/burst uptime on any other character.
Wait really? That's surprsing considering they are Designed around those fontain Units often. Zhonghli is just such a good character. Just for all those mechanics. He helped me through Geo Abyss and the Itto Geo Boss as well and is also good in non-geo situations or just that enmies don't get apart. Losing another element can be devastating though in my eyes he does have nagatives.

9:05 I passed the abyss 12 with 9 stars without problems until this impossible abyss arrived, the 2 Abyss Electro Reader on floor 12-2-2 cannot be eliminated in time, their shields are unbreakable and they eliminate the burst very quickly, my best DPS pyro is Arlecchino, I tried to pass him without shields and he dies after 30 seconds because his burst is removed and he can no longer heal, I tried another team with Xiangling + Furina and he lacks pyro damage... I will definitely stop playing this abyss until he arrives Natlan, this abyss forces me to use characters that I don't have...
Just wanted to leave a comment here to tell people to USE SUCROSE SECOND HALF! No matter what team, running her is great(driver, res shred, CC) and especially with that 4-star only overload team second half, she is the best there!
Except having her on the team nerfs Chevruse buff (which is better res shred in overload). If you don't use Chevruse though, absolutely!
for everyone sseing this, if you dont want to run pyro on top just change the sword from the quest to ousia and give to to: Jean, Kazuha, Traveller or any other sword wielder you can fit on the top team, 1 hit from the sword and the shield instantly tops even with it being level 1.

13:28 it took me a second to realise what happened here. The burst wasn't meant for the Cryo FATui dudes, it was for wave 2. Arlecchino's C2 blast dealt with those 2 by itself

I wish ppl like u and sevy who make these 4* only abyss vids wouldn't use only c6 units cuz some of these cons drastically push the teams dmg output and most player simply don't have that kind of luxury i'm a day 1 player and up until the current arle banner i never pulled any xiangling cons same for xinqiu he's only c1 cuz lantern rite exists

They can't switch of their constellations and they need them for other content. Also, I'd hate to be that guy, but if he's just cutting it with C6 4-stars, chances are you can't 36-star without them. R.I.P. your luck on Xiangling and Xingqiu pulls. I started at 1.3 and they've been C6 for at least a year now, though I was strategically pulling to get them.

@@RezDK And it'd take 2 years. You don't use the shop to C4 Xianging from C0. But if you're at C3, and you do run teams than use her, then it could be worthwhile to get that last con. And if you are at C3 and could have shopped to C4, but chose not to, then, well, then that was your choice. That said, the content creators can't turn the cons off, and even if they could, then there would still be people complaining about how they are using weapons that are RNG dependent or the RNG dependent four stars. Oh, and that the artifacts they are using are too good.
The simple reality is that these are not hand-holding guides. These four star clears are there to show that it can be done. However, it is expected that you'll run your own teams, with some of whatever five stars you have and such. The important thing to take from these guides is not what characters are used, but rather, why they are used, what enemy mechanics there are, and how positioning can let you do things like group enemies.
Having no Chevreuse really sucks for this abyss. Keqing and Fischl aggravate breezed through 12-1-1 and 12-2-1, even including Coppelia's Cryo shield, but the second half Hyperbloom wasn't cutting it for the Electro lectors and the Baptist's cryo shield.
Having no Chevrolet or Kuki is pretty much no 36* this abyss. Hyperbloom raiden is completely powerless if she doesn't have her burst ready against the baptist's cryo shield.
For a 4-star only clear I used overload side1, national side2. Overload was Fischl-Beidou-Thoma-C3 Chevy.
The operatives are horrible without a grouper, so to maintain sanity you pretty much want to build some Sucrose-based team for side2. Then lectors mandate pyro/cryo. Then Baptist too. So national is kinda natural.
this abyss kinda hard when u lack characters/Constellations still cant 36 star it. Tried every character but the electro shields so hard to shred. guess ill just wait for the next Abyss rotation and just stop at 34 stars for the meantime.
Same here. I have completed the last abbys, but there are a lot of long waves of enemies in this one and it's very frustrating to reset and try again. 34 stars and I think the reward of the pain of 2 more stars doesn't worth it 😅

Mixed feelings about this one. I don't like when there are hyper specific requirements for shields etc, hard counter mechanics are never fun. At the same time, these sides do allow quite a bit of flexibility other than wanting pyro. I guess not the worst of the harder abyss cycles
I died only once to Magu Kenki, other floors on one try. Used Childe and Neuvi teams
I used 1: Zhongli, Arlecchino, Raiden Shogun, Kuki 2: Xiangling, Xingqui, Yelan, YaoYao.
I only got 3 stars, but with my potato, I was happy to get them. I actually found grouping the preacher dudes to not be advantageous since they sapped my bursts too easily that way. I would just get them close enough that I wasn't running all over the place, but not right on top of each other
I preffered the previous Abyss.
Mainly because I'm not planning on getting a 5 star Pyro DPS until the Pyro Archon comes out.
It feels like Hoyo is locking Primogems behind "you must pull 5 star Pyro right now" so that you don't have enough Primogems when the Pyro Archon does wome out.
And no, 4 star Pyro units don't count because they need too much investments and constellations to do the same job the 5 star equivalents do.
It's only 150 primos. And if you 2 star each chamber you lose only 50 primos

This abyss finally made me use my premium ayaka team for those electro heralds, but after seeing her in action against other regular mobs in the abyss il think about actually using it more

1st half: Nahida, Nilou, Kokomi, Furina. Furina is here to break the Icewind's shield instantly. Remember that meme where Nahida is "I'm in danger" between her 40k HP teammates and Nilou is there exploding nukes in front of her? Now add Furina just to see the cabbage archon suffer more. Ehe~
2nd half: Raiden, Yelan, Bennett, Xiangling. Nothing new, it's just to deal with the last boss' shields without a sweat. Deals with the rest of the floors quite efficiently too.

This was the first abyss I actually had to beat 2 times, one to get 35 stars and a second one purely focused on 12-2 because of Coppelius
I used Cyno Furina Nahida Baizhu on the first half, and the only thing I had to care about was using Furina's normal attack to break the Coppelius shields. Luckily the timings coppelius puts up the shield just line up with Cyno's downtime so you can do it at the end of cycling through supports!
For 2nd half I used Ayato soup team with Kazuha Fischl and Bennett. Nothing much to say about this one, just make sure you use kazuha's burst inside of Bennett's burst for pyro infusion and everything should get deleted with otherwise normal gameplay!
Are you gonna do a Arlecchino build guide? I know you did one where you explained her kit and a small c0 showcaase, but I'd love an actual guide comparing weapons, artifacts, etc.!

Her weapon and the new set are her BiS, then Jade and Glad are the 2nd best option, level up her normal attacks first then either burst/skill
her best weapons: signature weapon, homa, primordial jade and after that, 3star white tassel. For artifact choices, signature artifacts is obviously better but if you dont have you can give 4 piece gladiator which is great option for her, if you dont have gladiator you can give shimenawa's temporarily. And substats should be atk sands, pyro goblet, rate or dmg circlet according to your stats. For teams her best c0 team is bennett, kazuha, yelan. If you dont have yelan or cant use without shielder, you can use xingqiu, zhongli or even layla whom is great options.

Great teams recommendations from IWTL! I'd actly suggest to swap the team sides as to what he used.
So probably use the burgeon team on 2nd half, or even a hyperbloom team there should work
first half - yao yao , furina , xinqui , kuki second half - neuvi , bennet , nahida , kazuha ( the first half team performed very well i felt it was the best hyperbloom team i have used and furina will break the cryo shield of the copllieus in an instant , the second half was pretty good too but had to dodge few shots )
It was quite hard for me, i cant imagine running 4 star only. But pyro absolutely dominates this abyss cycle. I ran hutao plunge first half magu kenki melted, 2nd half was arlechinno national was finally enough for those electo shields with triple pyro

No need to waste time for just 50-100 extra primogems every 2 weeks, it's just bad for your mental health.
Abyss is pure cancer and has a high dependence on great artifacts for high dps, which is another cancer on its own that also requires an insane amount of time investment.

So i used in top half Arlecchino Vape and in Bottom Half Childe National worked pretty fine
i’m currently banging my head against a wall trying to do exactly that… i keep missing the 12-2 clear by a few seconds. it’s absolutely a skill issue unfortunately (and also occasionally a ping issue lol)
For the Coppelia boss, you can cheese it using the sword of Narzissenkreuz to get free ousia hit so you don't have to bring a pyro unit to first half
Oh if only I had that I guess... But also, I don't get the ice shield thing because I take care of her with Alhaitham hyperbloom team swiftly

I just finished the abyss right now while I am in my 15 minute break in my work and this is what I will say, fck 12-3 first chamber where there are 4 waves of enemies. They purposely did that floor to stall you for the 2nd chamber like wtf. Good thing my Neuvillette is strong enough to kill that boss.

I've given up when I saw they put cryo shields in both sides.
The teams that worked for me were the Neuvi-Furina in the First half, and Alhaitham Hyperbloom in the second half. If necessary Kazuha Furinational might also work for the first and third Chamber I think🤔
It would make 100% more sense if you switched teams. Overload team would have no issue at all with the shields in 1st half. and the Burgeon team would have no issues at all with the shields in 2nd half.

I have her functioning as a balanced burgeon/Sub DPS/burst support/support for now, but will start to explore her as main DPS soon when I get better artifacts.

Arle c0 r1 pjws 4 glad na tl 9, benny c6 r1 mistsplitter 4 noblesse, kazuha c0 r1 fs 4 vv (952 em), zl c0 4 totm.
This was with the na & ca dmg +15% (or was it +20%, idk) abyss card.
Arle cleared 12-1-1 in 23 seconds.
12-2-1 & 12-3-1 both in under 50 seconds. I'm blown
C6 of a 4 Star unit who has only been on one single banner and who performs completely differently at C6 should *not* be considered "free to play friendly," sorry. The average amount of wishes for one particular rate up 4 star on any given banner is 40 wishes. This means even if you lost 50/50 for the 5 star unit and also went to 80-ish wishes both times on a single banner, the average player would still only have C3 Chevreuse in 160 wishes. And that's not even counting the people who didn't pull on that banner. So yeah, sorry, but C6 Chevreuse is, at present, completely unrealistic for a F2P showcase. But appreciate the effort nonetheless.
I used Raiden/Xiangling/Bennet/Chevreuse first half and Kuki/Furina/Nahida/Xinqui Second half.
Those Kenkis one shot my Raiden my first try ngl😭😭
but some tips I have are, try to get the kenki's to second phase at the same time so you can dodge them all easily, preferably at the end of your rotation too. And if you can bring an Ousia character for first half to easily break Copellius' shield, for me it was Chevreuse but Furina and even Lynnette works.
I think burgeon would probably do better than Hyperbloom in the second half but I don't have any burgeon characters built so...

My c2 neu 300% crit dmg can’t beat this for some reason
For the first half, i used hyperbloom comp, i just equip the the sword we got from that one fontaine quest for kuki, one normal attk to disable the robot couple’s shield easily
As someone who has lots of characters despiet being f2p was able to complete this abyss with ease, time does it`s thing
At first started top half with Nilou bloom and was pissed after realising that it`s Copelius, not Copelia, so I used
Xingqiu, Hu Tao, Yelan, Zhongly - Top Half
Furina, Neuvillette, Kazuha, Bennet (for shields) - Bottom Half
After that tried to change my Nilou team and did 2 more runs
Furina, Nilou, Nahida, Baizhu / Xingqiu, Hu Tao, Kazuha, Bennet
Furina, Nilou, Nahida, Baizhu / Neuvillette, Kazuha, Bennet, Zhongly
Sadly, if you are Nilou enjoyer you are screwed unless you have Furina, or, I guess, Kaveh, but I still gonna test him, cause I'm not sure how efficient claymors is in breaking Copelius shield and whether they can break that Avatar's cryo shield. Oh, just remembered, that hydro mc exist, but that's just cope.
Hu Tao works great on both sides, I guess 'cause abyss is designed for Arlechino. Neuvillette is great as ever, still gonna test him on top half, but doubt their could be any problems.
Ayaka... Please don`t... Without her signature was just unable to clear top halh of last abyss on time, and it seems this one isn`t much better. If you use Lynnete or Furina there is chance for top half, but Coplius has insane cryo res, so it`s kinada sad, and bottom half requires pyro, so no freez :(
Still gona test Alhaitham, but it seems there will be no problems.
Will test Wanderer and Xiao, IF I WILL GET THOSE HECKING FARUZAN CONS. I guess thats it, can update if anyone is interested.
For Nilou team, you can equip any sword user with Sword of Narzissenkreuz to proc ousia and instantly break Coppelius cryo shield.

It took me 2 runs. I used neuvi, kazuha, furina and bennett on the first half to deal with the cryo shield of coppelius. For the second half I first took bennett, nahida, yelan, xiangling for the baptist. After that, since I didn't get full stars on the 12-2, I went with alhaitham, nahida, yelan, kuki for more dmg to 36 star it.

i found international and hutao double hydro to be comfortable this abyss, both are pyro teams so they excel :3 (though obviously arle makes a good sidegrade to hutao, they fufill the same role, i just dont have her >.
