Thanks for the video, I just did a similar installation. One recommendation, I put a PVC coupling on both ends of my check valve. That way, if I ever need to get to the check valve, or replace it, it’s an easy swap by unscrewing the coupling. It’s also easy to look at in the event it’s stuck open. Just a single unscrew. Just a thought, but that was my approach. Again thanks.
What do you recommend for a check valve I replaced a brass one this weekend and have lost 1/3 of my pressure. I see you are using a 2" PVC one... I am going under ground with mine assuming my issue was the new one has a crappy flow rate or something. I went 1 1/2" as thats what I had prior but the casing is smaller. Long story short epic fail thanks
My check valves ALWAYS leak on that middle seam. No matter how loose, tite, clean, monster sealer. Even tried unscrewing middle and using PVC cement. PLEASE HELP! trying to install 1 1/2" check valve for solar water heater on pool system
Hi, do you have any specific 2” filter that you would recommend or where to get it from? Installing a new system at my house and trying to plan it all out.
Just had a guy walk away after installing my pump after he was having trouble priming said he had to go get a check valve u still around? im in hollywood fl
my 1 1/2 " PVC line gradually rises up about 5 feet over 15'feet before the 30'foot run to my pump. Should I use two check valves? One close to the filter in the lake and then a second check valve before the gradual rise?

Great tip!
Could you share a link to the products you show? I basically need exactly what you explained, lake filter and all! Super helpful video!
Why do you use a threaded check valve versus just a slip coupling check valve

Hi Daniel. Good question. Yeah, it's okay to have two check valves. I have done it on a few jobs.
@@tjyoursprinklerguy8846 You are the BEST! I installed two check valves and it works! Thank You!
