Big fan of your videos. I'm a controller and seeing everything from a pilots perspective really helps me appreciate what I can do to help make your lives easier while working. Beautiful plane as well!
Very enjoyable. I'll probably never fly something that sophisticated so really appreciate being able to vicariously experience it through your videos. Thank you! I especially enjoyed the split screen with 4 views on the approach. The view of the PFD was excellent, while also seeing the outside views. I understand the effort in creating these videos and want you to know how much that effort is appreciated.
Maintaining a sterile cockpit with a little one in the right seat must be a challenge, kudos to you sir. I"ve had IFR rated pilots I couldn't get to shut up!
At the beginning, seemed that cart wanted to aim for the 604. Another Great ride with ya. Nice approach, log it. That's a shock from sunny Florida to the Cold north country, but always good to get back home.
You are so fortunate to get to fly. I lost my medical shortly after learning to fly at a young age because of the disease I came down with. Still on the meds many years later. My goal was to become either an airline pilot or work for a private company or a charter. What do you do for a living? You must own a company or a lawyer. Perhaps a doctor or an Indian chief lol.
Thanks Franco! Don’t know if you noticed, but you can see the clouds rolling over the Appalachians during the cruise portion. It’s always cool to be able to see the way the air flows over the mountain ridges there!
@@GrantBaker Now that you mention it ... I'll have to go back and have a look !! Like you said it's always interesting to see the air flow over mountains and ridges
Thank you Grant for the stats. This flight had a bit of everything. Blue sky's, thunderstorms, rain and ice. Great flight. Grant how many passenger seats are you running? Thank you for your time you put into these videos. Looking forward to next video. 👍👍👍👍
Thanks Mark! I usually have 6 executive seats in a club+2 arrangement, but we have weight and balance numbers for any number of seats so we can adjust pretty quickly if the mission is different than normal.
Beautiful approach. I am IR PPL but have not been in actual IMC that low presently. Love the videos and hope to someday fly at least right seat ballast in a PC12. :)
Thanks Grant. Great video and interesting to watch with the weather considerations and your usual excellent flying skills. What a great trip you guys had! Thanks as always for sharing.
😂😂HAHAHAHA I just found your channel this morning, and I'm really enjoying it! Honestly, I'd prefer to hear more from your ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE daughter hahaha 😆 she's so cute my goodness 😍 I've already watched two of your videos, and this is my 3rd! I subscribed to your channel as well. Retired police officer from LAPD and living full time in Bacolod City the Philippines 🇵🇭 Stay safe always and God bless! And MORE of your little princess 👸 hahaha 😁 😊
@GrantBaker absolutely 💯 my pleasure and to give credit and kudos where I see them are due! Looking forward to experiencing all of your past and future journeys...
Thanks William! I did mention it at 31:40 but yes it’s because of icing. You’re limited to F15 if there’s visible ice on the airplane. There’s nothing wrong with always landing F15 assuming there is enough runway but I generally use F30 unless there is ice on the airplane.
We're looking at a PC12 so I've been watching YT videos and came across your channel - I've spent a fair amount of time in GSH with the helicopters! Great video and good look at the avionics.
Aside the difference in payload, how does it differ in performance with the TBM? Is this a popular business aircraft. I live close to a very busy bizjet airport (PTK). I see Pilatus aircraft on the approach often. Most often I see jets. I live across the street from the outer marker.
Range, especially with much of a load, is far better in the PC12. There’s a lot of trips where the speed advantage of the TBM is gone because it needs a fuel stop. The PC12 also outperforms the TBM on takeoff and landing distances.

Thanks for bringing us along.
Another great flight Grant and a lot of work to put all the screen together for more detail on take off and landing. Thanks for bringing us along.

Yeah it’s about impossible but ya gotta try!
Another outstanding flight my friend! Appreciate the time and effort to produce your videos...not only entertaining but very informative as well!
Thanks Diesel!
Awesome flight and pilotage. Keep the videos coming!
You sounded a bit bummed the weather was better than expected. 👍
Haha I was looking forward to an approach!

This is my job! 😁 I fly this for a private company. I am very blessed to be able to do this for a living!
The "FIVE HUNDRED" literally made me jump! You're right, that's definitely loud 😅
There’s no missing that callout. Which is the point I suppose…
Great video with great cloud formations, and yet another greaser of a landing. Thanks for showing the approach setup ... loved it !

Nice approach, well done! Glad to see the airport I learned how to fly on.
An enjoyable real world flight
Thanks Terry!

Another quality production. Thanks for sharing Grant!
Great video once again Grant 👏
Thanks Cole!
Best co pilot ever😀
Yes, I love it when I’m able to bring the kids along up front!

Nice flight! It was cool seeing you and your baby girl in the cockpit together. Definitely fun sitting in the cockpit of a Pilatus. Fly well brother!
Thanks Russ, it’s always fun having the kids up front with me when I can!
Was interesting to watch the ice build up on the boots at 32:04 Excellent video

Awesome videos and awesome aircraft!
could of swore i saw your tail# and paint scheme in Ft.lauderdale this morning at my local airport.
Nope, I’m here at Goshen. Going back to the beach sounds nice though!
As usual very nice and enjoyable video....Just why do you land F15, is it the standart setting on PC12....?due to icing or...?Thanks.

@@GrantBaker Many thanks, Grant, for your accurate and quick answer..Next time I will be more attentive!!
Nice flight, do you always have to reload the airport code when you load an approach?
Yes, if you want to continue navigating to the airport. It doesn’t put it in “standby” like Garmin does.
@@GrantBaker
Gotcha, I thought I recalled that on a previous video and when I saw it here as well, I figured that was normal…..
As you were landing Emma was taking some pictures. Have you ever taken a look at her work? 😊
The tablet she has doesn’t take good quality photos, but maybe I should give her my phone next time and see if she gets some keepers!😁
We're looking at a PC12 so I've been watching YT videos and came across your channel - I've spent a fair amount of time in GSH with the helicopters! Great video and good look at the avionics.
Thanks Jason! I’m right across the ramp from the helicopters. 😁
@@GrantBaker I’m hoping to be up there Friday - one final chance to get free food from Randy this year! 😁
Shoot, I won’t be out there on Friday. Every other day this week though! 😅
0:50 - Was it just must me that was triggered when the cart moved! Don't ding the wing!
Nope, I was when I edited it!😬🫣

Just flew into fountainbleau yesterday. Nice fbo
It is!
Too bad you didn’t go by GSO, I would have waved! Enjoyed the ride along
If you ever fly into kvrb or kfpr in Florida I would love to see your aircraft!
Right seat in a PC-12 would be cool but I don't think I have chance against this competition.
😁They’re tough to beat!
OPF ground controller was not the sharpest tool in the shed plus a little snappy.
Yeah not sure what was going on that day. I left out the 5min where several of us were trying to raise him.
What would ATC do if you used the call sign 21 National Guard ?
Not sure…won’t be finding out either. Lol
Might have to check the co pilots credentials, looks a little young!
Gotta get them involved early!😁
Who do you work for ? Or are you flying your family around ?
I work for a private company, but every once in awhile I’m able to bring my family along on a trip!
@@GrantBaker that’s awesome
Good good for you. I fly the NG’s in Western Australia
Awesome! Royal Flying Doctors?
@@GrantBaker yes sir
Jesus a lot of you tubas fly out of this opal ochre place. Is it in America?
Yes, Florida is in America.
@@GrantBaker Florida. Nice! Ron DeSantis. Now that man should be the next Republican President.
good video, but it would be nice to get rid of the popping sound when you release the push-to-talk button
That popping is really loud!
Did you make a note in your flight log that you added about 5,500 pounds of CO2 to the atmosphere?
That aint nothing compared to the methane you release every time you eat taco bell
Why don’t you use a GPU? you can cool the aircraft do all of your preflight procedures, and be ready to go when your passengers arrive.
