Just an update as of 4.33 U3. Note: only the following F-16s carry the LANTIRN pods: Block 32 EAF, 40 EAF, 30, 42, 52+ HAF, KF-16 and F-16I (Sufa). Any of these blocks, if the TGP box is highlighted in the LOADOUT screen, will be fitted with both LANTIRN pods; all other blocks will be fitted with the Sniper targeting pod.
+Tim Morgan Yea cheers found out in the end. I had no idea where or what it was, mainly due to there being no command in the bms setup for "paddle switch" found out its' AP override.
Cool vid, comprehensive yet short. I have been fooling around with the TFR in mission TR433_08_TFR as well as some TEs and for some reason, whenever I switch the TFR to NORM, I get an avionics fault, a TFR Limits warning, and Betty keeps freaking out with a "Pull up...pull up...etc". I have not found a way to stop this after the fact; turing TFR back to standby does not shut off the warnings nor does it fix the faults. It actually seems like something on the plane gets damaged when I select NORM. Did you experience this before your got your TRF routine dialed in? Any help is appreciated!
+DarkF1b3r Disregard. I think my problem was that I was not boresighting the FLIR properly. Once I did that, TFR worked fine and I did not get the weird behavior.
This is literally almost the same control as was in FF5. I could use that. Now in TFR training mission TFR gives me only tons of warnings in case I trun any mode, it says yellow box TFR LIMIT, and sometimes I got and voice warning what I cannot turn off...
+molnibalage83 you can just use the Voice Inhibitor. It is located on on screen bottom and then right. I think it is close to the ejection seat POWER switch but remember Betty will say nothing in terms or warnings anymore.
I honestly think the tfr training mission is bugged :)) I follow everything the manual says but I don’t get that bar in the middle of the tfr screen and when I press norm Betty goes nuts and pulls my aircraft up until I run out of airspeed at a 40 degree angle
Brilliant information. I was search for FLIR and TFR tutorial and found this great tutorial.
Thx brother :)

Great stuff.
Thanks for the video !
a tutorial on the new buddy laser would be useful!
What/where is the paddle switch? great vid.
+cns180784 It's the large paddle operated by the pinky on the stick.

Do you know if (and if so: how) the TFR works with other in game planes than F-16 that don't have the LANTIRN?
Nicely done

+DarkF1b3r please share this knowledge on the UOAF forum. A bunch of people were having this issue.
+Krause Done. And it was not a FLIR boresighting issue at all, I simply forgot to turn on the radar altimeter :-)
you are a cool dude.
+DarkF1b3r If betty goes crazy you can fix it by resetting the FLCS, switch is on rear left, next to trim.
I want to create a mission, in night-time in the TE-BUILDER.
How do I change
the time?

+molnibalage83 Read the manual. This is all accurate behavior for the TFR.
+molnibalage83 Likewise

What is the role of TFR? (Sorry starter only in Falcon).
+Lokal Gangsta Terrain-following radar. You can see in the video that the autopilot follows terrain.
Just Great
I know you do your own real life flying these days but do you ever still play BMS/DCS?
Yep, every week with JTF-1 and the 72nd
It drives me crazy hearing FLUR. FLEAR like Lear jet except FFFlear.
Hotas setup?
X65F, MFD Cougar, Pro Pedals
Impressive, I have the full set up to fly in BMS but I have yet to find the time to practice. This is more hands on than what I'm use to in DCS.
