Absolutely gorgeous airplane! Thanks for the video, it’s a wonderful tribute to the builders and it’s nice that it’s still well cared for and loved.

You think one day it should go to a museum? Or it should be flown as long as possible.

Beautiful, but a Skybolt needs it's classic Round Tail. Not a Super Stinker.

I have a lot of time in Skybolts and one 300+ hp Firebolt. Lots of fun. I always prefer the Pitts. Lamar Steen copied a Pitts S2A to build the Skybolt (Curtis caught him measuring it). I don’t like your canopy combing as it really limits the visibility. I don’t like haigh tailwheels for larger biplanes although it’s excellent for an S1S. The 2-place biplanes just don’t need a locking tailwheel. How heavy is your Skybolt? They are super sensitive to wing loading. A lot of Skybolts became really fat and flew mushy. Skybolts are super easy to fly. They moved the engine breather tube to the side of the fuselage since a few were crushed when their tailwheel failed, and it blew out the crank oil seal. Not good.
