I have seen this incredible band twice. First on the Agætis byrjun tour in 1999 in Oslo. Then on Primavera Sound seventeen years later. Probably the best band in the world. Really.

I first saw Sigur Ros at the Latitude festival in 2008, and was was lucky enough to have been at Alexandra Palace on one of the two nights that Inni was filmed later that year. I have seen then several times since but the Alexandra Palace gig remains my favourite.
The support bands they choose have usually been very good and introduced me to some interesting music. The band who supported them at Wembley Arena in 2013, a Swedish band called I Break Horses, has become one of my favourites, and I have all of their albums and seen them in concert a couple of time since. I would also say that the band who supported them in 2008, an Icelandic band For a Minor Reflection, were excellent and, while I have some of their albums, I haven't yet been able to see them do a full gig.
