Dude.. I don’t know who you are, where you’re from, etc. But there is something so alluringly pure about these videos that I just have to encourage you to keep doing what you’re doing. You remind me of how Phil Mickelson teaches golf. One can’t help but see genuine love for the game and zeal for making it attainable for anyone getting started. My first musical love was the drum. Never got real good and I currently don’t have a drum set but I digress. Strength to you and God bless.
I can't stop watching this as a new drummer I have been challenged to find suitable fills but this shows the simpler the better. Speed is definitely the key
It’s amazing… When I was younger, I had a 15 piece Acoustic, original Rogers, drum set, and I played pretty darn good - - I think lol However, I haven’t played in about 35 years - I just bought an Electric Rolland ( it’s quieter, given my living situation) It’s frustrating because all that time I spent so many years ago learning… I feel like an idiot now lol I can’t even deal with basic drum rudiments … Took me about a week and a half just to get back to learning how to do a Basic, para- diddle. I’m nowhere near where I used to be. But Thanks to videos like yours.- They bring me back and help me remember Thanks for your videos
Just brought a yamaha dd75, i know its not a proper drum set but have to start somewhere. And found this channel, So complete newbie. And loving your channel hopefully should get it delivered Monday and will definitely be using your tips.
@@30SecondDrumLessons Thanks for your reply, kit turned up this morning. I do have a question if you don't mind me asking? I'm left handed and when trying your tips I slip into using my left hand first instead of the right hand as you do. Am I best to persevere with starting right hand and hopefully get used to it?
This was indeed my first fill at the age of 11. Begged and begged the grand parents for a drim kit. Through out that year i was tryna get this dude to teach me because he said he would but he never showed to the oractices so i asked the teacher if i could practice at lunch time and she agreed and she would come and and teach me her self. Eventually my grand parents got me a drum kit so i practiced at home. At school i was beginning to be asked to llay with other performers that came to our school that played for different classes. Ill neverr forget this one time this old guy on a piano just said *make up a beat* so i went with a smooth jazzy type beat and lead him well. Eventually formed a small band with my mates and performed everyheere in our local area. I loved the experince of being able to perform infront of hundreds, if not thousands of people at times. It was aweomse and id do it again.

Hello dear
After 17 years of drumming and playing advanced rudiments and fills, now I am feeling that this is the best fill ever😂.
That fill never dies!!
Awesome
It's always nice to go back to the basics. It gets boring playing the same steady groove and fills in gigs though
Yesssss
