Practice pad is great tool for learning but still you cant learn everything from pad. Personally i cant have acoustic drums because i dont own good place to play. I bought myself electronic kit and use practice pad half hour per day.
I'm 57 and been playing over 40 years on and off and consider myself a decent drummer. But I'm not disciplined with my rudiments and would you believe it I've just bought this very same pad....I'd better start using it..😂🥁🥁

Alejandro, I love this. I am learning to play the hammered dulcimer instrument. It requires the use of 2 hammers ( right hand, left hand) just like a drummer. I am going to use your exercises to help me with playing my instrument!

Most of my life I’ve been just jamming along with songs for fun and never really took it seriously until recently cuz I wanna be good enough to be jamming with friends. I’m gonna try taking these seriously and work on my technique and speed so I can keep up with the speed of all the 2000s alternative rock songs 😂 thanks for the video we can play along with!
I always wanted to play an instrument but wasn’t sure what I would be good at. Started with guitar and while I can play some basic stuff it’s just hard remembering everything. Recently got a practice pad while getting more strings for my guitar and I gotta say it’s a little more fun than playing guitar. It feels more natural to me like I don’t have to think as much I just feel the beat and I’m able to follow along and do all these patterns with ease. Paradiddles gave me some trouble at first but I was able to do 16th notes within an hour. I don’t think I’ll be able to do the 32nds any time soon tho lol with practice I’m sure I can. Thanks for the video it was extremely helpful.
