JESUUUUS! This episode started off so intentional. When this women talks about witnessing the softer side of herself in her daughter and allowed her to open up!! 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨
I appreciate both of you be women for this podcast and using this platform for these conversations. 🙏🏾

Really enjoyed this episode, these are the raw truths that me and my mommy friends have had. To hear y’all speak of some of those same things really helped, because sometimes as moms we’re afraid to say how we really feel. Me and my daughter don’t have any family photos together that conversation hit home!

35:29 and that’s why I always tell people I’m not pressed to have a child .. I’m looking forward to having a family.

This was a great episode and it’s so true about childhood trauma not wanting your kids to go through let alone see the things you’ve been through. Having a healthy relationship in a household is very important. It definitely plays a major part when having kids. It’s impactful as we become adults, Ppl don’t talk about these kind of things because they are ashamed or trying to forget things that happened to us as kids not realizing that affects us as adults especially in relationships with ppl. I’m so glad y’all are speaking on things like this because it truly matters whether we know it or not. I truly enjoyed watching this episode ✨

Such a great episode. I wish Mama wouldn't take over the conversation so much. But loved it.

This was a great episode! I have been a follower of Dretta's for YEARS, literally since she was pursuing fashion with RUDEdenim. I truly appreciate the transparency and vulnerability around motherhood/ parenthood. It is extremely important for us to have these discussions as family, and a community. Like ma said, we are all victims of some sort of trauma, and the only way we heal is to share our experiences. Thank you all for being obedient and doing Gods work. As we know most of us are on our own when it comes to healing these traumas, so platforms such as this are 100% necessary. 💖

Love your podcast, a little advice when your speaking to/about your guest try not to fiddle with your fingers and look down. Make eye contact, it comes off more confident 🩷🩷
