I feel this so much because I have had a few days within the past month where I was just in a mood and could have benefited from taking a day off of work and tending to myself. Sometimes the weekends are not enough for that.
Silent days make so much sense because your profession takes a lot of energy, at least from my perspective, and life can be overwhelming. That’s amazing emotional intelligence!
Self-care for me that is free:
1. I do stretches; it releases a lot of tension.
2. Sometimes I drive in silence.
3. I watch documentaries and go down rabbit holes with the content.
4. I do something outside, like walking, working out, or gardening.
Oh and shoutout to you for getting baptized. I remember when I got baptized it was a renewing experience.❤

I’m glad you took the silent day and poured into yourself❤❤. This and self care days have been a practice of mines since my divorce 7/2018. I used to turn on ol school RnB clean because I can’t do dirty or unorganized. Take a warm bathe, while in the tub have my vibrator or cry whichever emotion that needs to be released. Once finished pour a drink light my cigar and enjoy myself with RnB in the background. I’ve learned for me being in my feels a whole day doesn’t work for me, I’m meant to be happy and shed light and ❤️ 🤗❤️🤗

I enjoyed that. The first time I just let it play while I took a nap on my lunch break, the second time I went back to catch the parts where you were talking. 😄
As an introvert, silent time is an absolute must for me. I enjoy going for a stroll at the park, finding a tranquil place to sit and people watch, or just playing some soft music at home and deep cleaning the house.

I loved this! It was so therapeutic. I feel like every now and again we need a nice, peaceful, relaxing vlog. You don’t always have to be on the go! I love seeing regular things. I def have to have some silent days and put my phone on DND. I feel so drained sometimes. At 65 my quiet days consist of me doing cross word puzzles. Reading books on my kindle.Baking and taking long soaks in the tub candles lit and a glass of wine. Followed by me polishing my nails and toes. I love me some quiet time.
