The 80's music generation has yet to be matched. From the 80's rock to the music of Michael Jackson and Prince could be heard going on everywhere. I was so fortunate to have graduated in 1980 and enjoyed going to concerts, and music festivals with these great bands and artist. Little did I know how blessed I was to be enjoying and experiencing the greatest music era of all times as a young adult 😎. Music added so much more enjoyment to ANYTHING we did. I was fortunate to have a boss who allowed us to have mp3 players while we worked. I worked there for 30 years because of that and then retired. Once I realized I had been there 30 years I wondered why it didn't seem that long 🤔. It was because of the music. I had enough songs on that MP3 player to last 16 hours. I sang my favorite songs that all had a good memory of my childhood. Or to something I enjoyed as a young adult. Those memories and singing made my day go by so much faster and kept my adrenaline going. One of the rare moments of Michael not working and just enjoying himself
All three men are absolutely iconic and legendary. What a total treat for those fortunate enough to have seen this in person!
Michael-greatest entertainer of all time.
I really love the stark difference we see in these two artists here, yet they are both unbelievably revolutionary to the field.
Wow, Micheal was able to sit in a crowd like that and it wasn’t pure pandemonium. RIP KING❤

Yeah, his star was rising, but this was before he blew up.
You can tell prince was not happy being calling up there. He is true to his feeling. Respect! And rip to him
I’m here in 2023 and let me tell you absolutely chills going down my spine right now nothing but extraordinary talent and human beings ! They don’t make em like this no more!!!
There is some great talents still. Bruno Mars & Ed Sheeran are two who produce quality tracks and sound just as good live on stage & make songs that will will go down as greats. Most artists are just here today gone tomorrow though.
He threw his glove in the crowd and someone threw it back at him 😂😂😂
that glove would probably be worth a fortune now too, not only cause it was princes but cause it happened when these 3 legends were all on stage at once
@@tomgday1093 when you are right you're right. Because I would have kept it. This '83 they ain't know what prince was going to be
That's his glove.
Saw that shut too and had me dead.
Michael was savage for this 😂 he KNEW prince was high and insisted James called up prince
This video was the moment I got to know a person named Prince. Even at this time, I thought he was a comedian. Then one day, I started composing and soon realized that he was the god of songwriting.
He is one of the greatest guitarists ever. It was overlooked because of his many talents. We just expected Prince to be the best at everything.
What a terrific singer and entertainer and dancer with a beautiful soul. Alot of his music was about healing the world and loving and to think of and protect the children. And Prince was great too 💗
Anybody here from drink champs 😂😂
Literally just watched it on a short n came here 😂
😂yes ..yes I am
I saw this before but I am here again because of Drink Champs 😂
Me 😂
I literally was watching it in drinks champs now with Will I am😂😂😂
This is one of the luckiest crowds in showbiz history 💯🥹
Look at James how happy he is and how he is laughing like a good father when he is seeing MJ dances like him .
Michael Jackson's moves feel unreal
I love how James Brown stated Michael Jackson told him to acknowledge Prince.. they were competitors but real recognize real... 3 legends #RIP
He did that to embarrass him. Supposedly Prince was drunk. :)
@@normanjohnson5921 not MJ style. he did not tell him to call Prince so Prince to be embaressed lol
@@melodyal3357 not according to Prince! :)
@@melodyal3357 of course I was not there! The most shocking thing to me in that video is MJ is in the crowd watching JB; maybe his last moment before super-stardom
@@melodyal3357 yes it was. They had a known, admiration and rivalry towards each other...
It’s insane how literally all eyes in the building are on MJ when he performs. Like when he starts dancing, he even had JAMES BROWN’s band looking like they’re trying to focus on not messing up when MJ starts dancing bc everyone is tryna see what move he’s gonna do next.
James Brown.
Michael Jackson.
Prince.
All THREE OF THEM on stage.
Now ALL THREE OF THEM in heaven.
The smile on James's face when Michael took the stage! Magic. The Band keeps the pulse going HARD!
Can't help but feel bad for Prince, imagine going on stage with you idol and your (somewhat) rival and completely embarrassing yourself. It's so sad because Prince was such an amazing talent. What hurts more is all three are gone. R.I.P Legends.
@@xeno.s248 He really didn’t do nothing he play the guitar just a little and then took off his shirt and left stage
No he didn't.
He couldn't touch Mj
Child, you don't know what you're talking about! None of us back then thought anything was embarrassing about it. Prince was always taking off his clothes. Did you see his album cover him wearing a thong? See him in concert? You don't know Prince! Your "fan" title has been revoked. LOL!
Apparently Prince, being incredible competitive as he was, was biggg mad about Michael's showstealing performance
You can tell how different these two artist approach the stage. MJ is very deliberate ? And Prince loved a bit of the chaos … amazing!
This Is Amazing....Three Legends closed together

Wow... Prince looked high on something 0_0 but that must have been an amazing show. James Brown will always be one of my favourite influences of all entertainment and music. Same with Michael Jackson. What a lucky moment to be in present with all 3 at the same time.
coke looool
Prince was stuck between a rock and a hard place. He can't say no to James Brown and he can't outperform what MJ just did before him. MJ oozed class and talent, even from this video watching on my phone you can sense the raw talent and charisma of MJ.
Micheal knew prince was wasted drunk and has James brown call him up there on purpose!!! That’s what was said in James brown ear being prince up here he can’t follow me and he knew he was wasted and after this micheal Jackson swears princes tried to run him over for embarrassing him
This night 😂😂😂 true story!
Prince off that oooh weeee😂😂😂
@0:11 Lucky dude. He must have kept this photo until today.
😂

No Phone, no Pictures, Just fun and dancing people around. Peace!
that lil clip proved how great MJ was. On the spot to sound that good
Mjs voice is unmatchable
That's multi million dollar spin move & moon walk 💰💰💰
" I LOVE YOU" ...goosebumps...
Somebody made a comment on another video that said “Let’s bring Prince up here Tee-hee”…..the way I yelped, hollered, and cried 😂😂😂😂
I love all 3.. they are the GREATEST. ..but Prince had to be high as hell...🤣🤣
He was intoxicated off the funk
They handed him a busted guitar it's sad as hell lol
@@alkalinkintriopark they handed him a fine guitar he just wasn't prepared
@@SoldierOfLoveForNow that's a really weird thing to lie about! I can assure you it was clearly malfunctioning! But thanks for your feedback!
He was drunk, mike knew he’d embarrass himself on stage and ask James to call him up
Don't know what drink champs is just three of the greatest performers of my lifetime on stage together !!!
Imma be real... There never be a time where a beyond belief legend of a teacher will be on stage with students who took what he did(which was beyond belief) and took it to the next level!! There was beauty and grace in this show!
It’s spiritual.
