    I think this is the prime example of how you are supposed to act in the music industry when there is a new act that is coming for your spot but they admired you and emulate you to an extent. James Brown looks like a proud father watching Michael dance. That was beautiful to me. Lil Kim and Bobby Brown needed to take notes...

    • @TheThatgirl007
      @TheThatgirl007 9 лет назад +2

      Talia Sproaps Lil' Kim always brought on other acts and she performed for free for up and comers so this comment didn't study Kim's history. She always pays homage.

    • @teerairan1
      @teerairan1 9 лет назад +1

      Micky Lewis I never said that she didn't pay homage to anyone nor did I say she didn't help up and comers. What I said is that THEY need to learn how to not beef with EVERY artist that comes out and rivsls their success. That shows weakness and insecurities.

    • @TheThatgirl007
      @TheThatgirl007 9 лет назад +2

      Talia Sproaps Well then expound further than Lil Kim and BB because Nas, Jay Z, P Diddy, ALL of hip hop is based on beef..it just didn't make sense in my eyes to only point out those two..sheesh even Pink, Christina Aguilera, plenty of others but only Lil Kim and BB were stated which was weird..oh and 50 cent is the top beefer with everyone..now that one would've made sense..Ok, I'm done playing musical chairs..carry on and enjoy the video.

      Talia Sproaps In 1983 Michael Jackson was far from being a "new act" but I know what you mean.

      James loved Michael. I mean, the man idolized him...and he knew about the video of six year old Michael doing the James Brown at Motown during their audition. But yeah, it's easy to be a jerk when you were a star as long as James Brown was. Instead, he was exactly what you said...proud. Proud of what that young man had become.

    There has been nobody that controlled a band like this man. Every note, every beat, was exactly the precise moment he called it. I first saw JB at a very small club called The Echo Lounge in Brighton, Mass. back in 1967 and he was mesmerizing. I was but a shoe shine boy at the age of 12 that squirmed my way in off the street to see James sing and dance. He was truly infuckincredible~!

    I find it ironic that in 2003, they will share the stage again on an award show and James died like....almost three yrs later? Then Michael died 3 years after him.

    • @The_torero

      TheColorOfCaramel .....What's even weirder is that James died on the 25th, Michael also died on the 25th exactly 2.5 years after!

    This man, James Brown, sing, lead, the really perfect example of a leader singer, he makes his orchestra "speak", interact and his 'moves' makes a sound that take the crowd to a whole new level of joy, he feels the music and make it contagious to everyone to see it, listen and watch it even after many many years later, wonder if any other get this same or better reaction from another artist..., we have artist now, but marketing artist...sad

    Atualmente há muito poucas músicas que podemos "chamar" de música, há sim, muitos "sons". A verdadeira música, aquela que pertence às Ciências Musicais, ricas em melodia, tons, arranjos, soam "musicalidade" aos ouvidos e nos levam a viajar por lugares, momentos e passagens marcantes, NASCEM, CRESCEM se perpetuam, NÃO MORREM. Música tem de EMOCINAR.
