Your home looks so cozy and earthy yet playful - I love it! It was delightful and inspiring to hear the stories behind the fabrics. My mind is humming with ideas. 😊
I love the cupboard curtains & I'm definitely going to make the strips of scraps fabric bunting. I also love the cupboard drawer as a shelf, its amazing what we can do with very little. Anything imperfect especially homemade,is made with love & that's all that matters, its being imperfect that makes it special. Thank you for sharing & giving me inspiration 😊💖
You've made your home so inviting and it looks so comfortable. I adore bunting and patchwork too. I need to decorate with them more. I noticed you had a quilt behind that pillow with doilies on it too , I've been saving doilies for a quilt I want to make too❤❤. I for one , would much rather have homemade, imperfect things in my home that are made with love for lived ones than any cheap store bought items. That's not to say I don't buy some cheap things but if I can make it , I prefer to . Thank you for sharing the beauty ❤❤❤❤
Hello friend! That quilt you mentioned with the doile is actually a TV cover I made years ago... It's basically a pillow case made to fit your TV size. I was tired of looking at an ugly black box! I agree with filling our home with homemade things when we can. I remember the sign you told me your child made about comparison being the thief of joy... I love that! Love that it is homemade and the truth it shares. ❤️
So darling! I made bunting years ago. I pulled it out recently and washed it. It then vanished. I later found it hanging in the children's room. LOL Now I need to make more. I love hearing where bits come from! When things aren't perfect and not matching I love it all the more!
Oh that's sweet! Your kids appreciate beauty too. Bunting is such a simple but happy addition to a room. I agree with loving something more when it is Imperfect and not staged. Most of what we have (furniture wise) has been found in the trash, thrifted, or given to us and it just "goes". ❤️
Such cute projects! I used to have some of that Waverly fabric that you showed in the curtain for your cupboard. At one time I even had the matching wallpaper on one of my walls. Great idea about using the drawers for book shelves.
Oh that's so neat that you had the same fabric! It would make a lovely wall paper. I discovered a wall in our living room used to have beautiful yellow floral wallpaper, I wish they had not covered it up.
love love it
This video was recommended to me, I've never seen your channel. Your home seems so cozy!

@@WifetoJohn I just recalled the name of the fabric, it's called "Quaker Lady". Waverly used to give all of its patterns the nicest names.
