Paul Scholes: *breathes*
Joe Cole: Yeah
😂!!!!! Yeah, yeah!
If I had a drop of whiskey everytime Joe Cole said yeah I’d be dead after 5 minutes
HAHAHA wish I hadn’t read this comment before watching the full thing
Can't disagree with Cole there
Yeah
Scholes is an all time great and he always speaks of himself like he was a struggling journeymen.
Yeah
@@brodogoks2526 yeah.. yeah yeah…. Yeah yeah.. yeah
Makes me idolise him even more.
One of the best to ever play the game!!
@@wankasaurusrex7621 yeah
He’s so humble and always downplays his abilities. But he knows deep down how good he was
Absolutely, he was top drawer.
The way henry described him was the best. ‘When we play united, the man we try to stop is scholes. He makes everything tick’
He’s the goat but to many united haters blinded by hate than realness but hey his trophy cabinet speaks for itself
Yeah
Yeah yeah
Why did he retire so early then
Joe Cole doing his best Usher impression
😂
Matt Bianco
Best comment ever! 🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂
These podcasts are gold, keep them coming. What a legend Scholes is, "yeah yeah yeah "
⁸8⁸
So annoying
Scholes is up there with Pirlo, Zidane, Xavi, Iniesta, Seedorf, Alonso, Modric. This type of midfield player is very special.
Don't be silly
@@Mike-kt4qh he is exquisite
Yeah
He could pass the ball as well as anyone
@@Mike-kt4qh don't be silly
Paul Scholes is so down to earth earth. One of the best to do it. Baffles me when people say he's "overrated"
Paul Scholes, one of the greatest midfielders of all time
Yeah
Na. Not at all. Half the player of Gazza
One of the greatest, although I agree on Gazza and so would Scholes
Takes a drink every time joe cole says yeah.....2 minutes later I’m on the floor plastered
Could they not mute Joe Cole’s mic when Paul is speaking 😂 it’s just yeah yeah yeah. I know that’s what we sometimes do in conversation but this is basically an interview.
Scholes _”Gary Neville Overlap”_ was FUNNY 😂 as hell!!
The comment about Carrick being most underrated / appreciated... For years I wish an England manager would play carrick alongside any of Lamps, Gerrard or Scholes as he would have been the perfect partner for any of them.
Yeah
Carrick has played alongside Gerrard and Lampard
@@Karma2Babylon Wasn't saying he hadn't. He just didn't do it often, as managers consistently tried playing them both. Carrick didnt get many England caps but I feel the team would have functioned better if he had.
@@stuartabbott2307
Probably, but all three were kinda similar, Gerrard perhaps being a bit more dynamic. Ericksen’s team just didn’t have enough pace in it beyond Owen and Vassell and just didn’t have enough strength in depth
I watched Scholes later on in his career from 2007 until his retirement. His volley against Aston Villa in 2007 made me fall in love with United. He was special, always so confident on the ball. I don't remember him losing the ball, or giving a bad pass. He was exceptional player. One of the greatest and most decorated midfielders ever.
His greatness wasn't in goals & assists, he controlled tempo, dictated the game for his team, bossed midfield, etc...
Amazing player.
Yeah
Hearing how him and his wife were struggling shows we don't know anything when we are watching players playing games at the weekend and criticising them not know what is happening at how etc but how they have supported there son is such great thing to hear and for someone working in mental health its a positive and I love it
Just had to comment on this clip .
As a neutral I saw Scholes, Gerrard and lampard a few times - all great players , but all different .
No one ever brings up the golden generation and how they were coached for England.
The Spanish had javi , iniesta and busquets, and they were the backbone of that great Spanish side .
How in heavens name could we have Scholes, Gerrard and lampard , and the so called super coaches ,namely Ericsson and capello , who didn't build a team around them .
Playing Paul Scholes wide left in a 4 man midfield , was criminal .
The Spanish feared and admired Paul Scholes greatly .
Sadly we never saw the best of the 3 of them together for England , we should have won a major trophy
I blame the coaches at the time ...bloody sad .
I happened to see Scholes in his prime , and when he came back after his retirement .
He run the game like a " quarterback " , all the time in the world
Gerrard was like a " one man team " , at the time , a bloody thoroughbred racehorse .
Lampard always turned up at the right time to score - all great players
most humble guy ever ..What a player..cheers for the memories Mate
When have these episodes been out since, have I been hiding under a rock lol. Pretty humble and Joe does a fantastic job too
I toetally enjoyed this. It was nail biting.
Couldn't resist, could ya? 🤣
Expected the majority of the comments to be about Joe Cole saying "yeah" all the time, and I wasn't disappointed.
yeah yeah yeah
Another top interview, Joe....and Scholesy, is a very honest and humble bloke as great a player as he was...
These are brilliant!! Class guests so far 🙌🏻🙌🏻
The overlap with scholes is good too. It’s great to get to hear these mega players talk. So much respect for scholes. What a career.
Young ballers should take note n follow his example instead of being all ego driven
It's good to see Paul Scholes feeture here. Scholesy is always putting his best foot forward. He absolutely nailed it.
Joe “yea yea” Cole back at it again ohh yyeeaaaaaa
Brilliant interview. I like when Scholsey and Joe mentioned Beckham and how good he was
I think as time passes we start to remember Beckham more from a football perspective and how unique and amazing he was as a player. All the palava and hairstyles surrounding him really took away from Beckham the player.
One of the best. I admired his tenacity and quality to bring others in with pin point distribution.
Two top blokes, legends of the game.
Love listening to Scholes. I hope he keeps doing more podcasts.
Yeah
One of my all time favourite players. Love the guy ❤
Can someone please pull Joe to one side and just tell him to stop saying 'yeah' every 2 seconds when his guest is talking? Genuinely thought someone would have had a word after his first interview...
Me too . He needs to use other words in confirmation . Sure . Ok . A nod . Or better still . Say NOTHING and let his guest speak .
@@smyffmawzz definitely mate. Not even having a go as he’s clearly new to it and learning as he goes, but you’d think someone would just pull him to one side and tell him to wind it in 😂
@@dozz87 yeah
"yeah"
Joe "Yeah" Cole.
To think this guy is Andy Cole’s brother, they look so different.
Yes, his mother pulled a blinder with that yarn.
He looks more like the younger brother Carlton
If I was an England manager at that era I would have Ashley Cole , Joe Cole, Andy Cole, Carlton Cole just for the sake of it. It will be the Cole formation.
@@topcat6762 Good One.....
And Ashley’s
Two of my favourite footballers. Absolute class the pair of them.
Really enjoying this series also Joe Cole is perfect for this show
Until ypu notice Joe say yea every 5 seconds
yeah
He's the most humble guy I've seen
I see Scholes, I click
Agreed
The midfield talent England have had in 25 odd years is ridiculous and no manager except maybe Hoddle could find the best system with them.
Hoddle knew what he was doing!
Probably the most cultured footballer England has ever produced.. He was an artist on the pitch.. That goal against Barca🤤Messi, Xavi, Iniesta and all the lads just stood there watching the ball fly through the air in slow motion..A genius!!
New game. Every tine Cole says “yeah” take a drink. Oh I’m hammered in the first 2 mins
Joe yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah COLE.
Everyone loves Joe 'yeah' Cole
Yeah
This interview was YEAH
Joe "yeah, yeah" Cole. Geezer
Brilliant player and does not waste words, grounded
That steve sidwell portrait in the background looks good
Down to earth guy great player 💯
Joe ' yh yeah year YHYHYH YEAAARRRR' Cole
Good to see the Stan Chow portrait in the background 😊
Just a normal lad from Manchester but what an amazing player. That’s from a born and bred LIVERPOOL fan! YNWA.
Drinking game: Everytime Joe says Yeah take a sip
Drive safely
Not possible
@@jzilla1234 yeah...
@@alsou6 yeah
Both of these guys were wasted. Joe Cole was the number 10 we always needed, having the skill and invention to open up teams sitting back.
And Scholes had the technique and composure to control the tempo like a Xavi or Pirlo.
But all England wanted at the time was all action, slide tackling box to box midfielders.
carrick and Scholes were perfect for centre mid international football
And that's why he's appreciated more by people from countries like Italy, Spain than he is in England.
He was a superb a player
He retired before he became that Pirlo type player.
Absolutely Hugo , spot on
Preach!
Wasnt quite sure about joe Cole and podcasting but I'm glad I'm wrong, very simple questions but when asked the right way reveal the most information. Just a talk between the boys
769 yeahs, new Cole cast record!
One of my all time favourite player's. Loved watching Scholesy from the North Stand for 10 year's.
Yeah
right, really

2 of England’s most technically gifted players of their generation!
And Gerrard is still clear of both

I would love to watch this. I just couldn’t get through it with the constant…..yeah, yeah!
Brilliant love Scholes
See I'm not the only one getting driven insane by Joe Coles yeah yeah yeah yeah way of interviewing
really good video 👍, Joe maybe chill on the yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
For his size he used to score a lot of headers always surprised me.
Love Joe and these podcasts but is he getting paid per "yeah"? 😂
Yeah
It's Yeahsville Arizona!
It would make a good drinking game, every time he says yeah
He's not a journalist is he
@@bartpickford1836 you'd get alcohol poisoning by the end 😂
Cole sing mercy on karaoke “yea yea yea “
Nice one
Best midfielder I've even seen live
What’s going on with the MV7 mics just for show? Not a wire to be seen.
I could hear joe cole's "yeah" when the ads was on
“Yeah”
The name of the game is...
How many times did Joe say YEAH 🤔 😄 🤣 😂
Couted 837 “yeah” 👀🤔😅
Joe sure does say “Yeah” a lot!
Other than that, top notch!
The class 92 all use Mark Hughes as a reference point. Gary especially. Seemed to make a huge impression on his teammates
Yeah
If I had a pound for every time Joe Cole said "yeah " I'd be rich man. Jesus tonighhhht
Joe Cole getting a platform to promote a wasted career and get some dollars in the bank
yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Joe's constant use of the word "yeah" is distracting.
He was brilliant for england
Absolutely champion scholesy
Legend Scholesy,
Joe Coles favourite word is YEAH lol, how many times he say it.
Joe 'yeah yeah' Cole
Same questions in every interview, yet handles them like they’re novel questions. Seems like such a humble, decent dude.
@9:13 "nah nah nah nah" a glitch in the Joe Cole algorithm
Yeah, yeah, right, yeah, yeah, hmm, right, yeah.... FFS Joe! 🤦♂️
Scholes, a legend on and off the pitch!
Please don't say "yeah" a thousand times🤞
had to turn it off.
@@0badboy0 yeah?
New drinking game,,, drink every time Joe Cole says yeah 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Just drank a whole bottle of rum, yeah
He would have thrived playing under Glenn Hoddle in midfield in a 3 5 2 System as we saw at France 98 rather than being played on the left of a 4 4 2 under Sven
People think he didn’t have a good career with England… man was class for years for England in centre mid… I remember that double against Scotland and that perler he scored in the World Cup against Tunisia in 98…. unreal footballer… his peers knew it too…. Just ask Zinedine or Andrea or Thierry who the main man was!
yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
....yeah
joe 'yeah yeah' cole
Most normal man in football. And that should be celebrated imo
Yeah
I’m 6 foot 3. Growing up I was tall - but I had Scholes on my back
He is greatest player in EPL history
It’s a shame the national team manager kept trying to play englands best ever center midfielder on the left. I don’t blame him for retiring from international early.
Apparently Joe Cole gets a £50 bonus every time he says 'Yeah' on these interviews
Joe yea yea yea yea Cole!,
Joe "yeah yeah" cole
What is this beat? Wanted to know since episode one.
