Still to this day I'm shoked of how Halo 5 did Blue Team dirty. Their first appearance in a game and they were only in 3 missions. Only 3!!! I wonder what 343 were smoking when making that game.
It was also sad that they weren't utilized in cool ways. Sure one has a special sniper, but Linda should been off taking out HVTs while you're approaching an area not just wandering around near you. And Fred should've had his knives and explosives expertise on display while Kelly is running ahead and scouting etc. Just a bummer they didn't/couldn't lean in to the characters.
I first played Halo's campaigns after i got an XBone and all the games from my first pay. Pretty much played them each game in a day from Saturday to Sunday but i do especially remember how frustrated i was playing Halo 5 because the levels felt so repetitive and the enemies generic. I regulary play Halo MCC on my living room PC but i never play H4 and H5, i dont hate them but i just dont remember them being fun for me. I really do like Halo lore, same for WoW that i dont play for a decade now, but i cant really agree for me personally that H5 is worth playing anyhow lol.
Finally at the point in the mythos where the lore between the games are messy and in different directions. I do like how you explained it at the end though
I'd really love to see, if done and written well, Team Osiris given another chance. Be it some sort of spinoff or side DLC missions or something with the next Halo game that follows Infinite. I don't hate Agent Locke nor his team (in fact, I really like them) but debuting in a divisive mainline installment hurt both their potential and that of having a story focusing on Blue Team. There's so much fun ideas you can do with a Spartan-IV doing god-knows-what under direct orders of ONI. And still a LOT more that can still be done in the future with Zeta Halo's setting in another game with both Teams. Halo Infinite's botched handling aside, work something out and have most if not all of the sequel set on various parts of that installation. It'd be perfect and would actually feel like a natural continuation from one modern Halo game to the next instead of feeling unconnected like 343's trilogy that was all over the place. . .
One of 2 remaining s2 teams?.... Black team, Omega & Grey team were active at this point.. altho not sure if grey team had been re discovered yet? Also had Red team still active altho again unsc aren't aware yet
From the perspective of the state of the Galaxy after 'The Next 72 Hours' in Escalation: Black Team had just gotten one shot by the Didact, Grey Team were in Cryo and would remain so until some point in 2558, Halo Wars Red Team was considered Lost With All Hands alongside the rest of the Spirit of Fire and Omega Team remained active with a trio of Spartans.
Black team was KIA in between halo 4 and 5 and grey team would have been freshly reawakened from cryo. Red team also technically isn't active as the UNSC considers them lossed with the spirit of fire.
@@Killian749no because he said when blue team were reunited being 1 of 2 active teams but black team were active literally just before blue team were reunited and they weren't aware that they'd been killed yet so my point stands
So this Mythos episode covered the events of Halo 5 and the opening of Halo Wars 2. Halo 5 had a lot of neat concepts but terrible execution. Though Halo Wars 2 and it's DLCs were great.
I would love to see the Banished obtain a Forerunner planet building machine and use it to restore Doisac and its moons and then use the machine to go after and target human planets which would then get the Banished into major conflict with the UNSC
I was about to say it hasn’t been too long since the last update, but sure as shit, it’s been 4 months. Whew, I concur, we need an update. At the very least every quarter.
@MatthewYoink thats what I'm saying, I just hope he didn't stop, I can careless if its him talking I just want to know whats going on, all we got last time was we aren't quit ready to show or talk about this and a helmet witch is sick but I'd like to know, yk
Sorry, but just like halo 5, most of this video is not even about blue team, its about Osiris. Its not a blue team video, its a halo 5 recap. And halo 5 was not about blue team.
Ya know, watching these cutscenes years later. I stand by that Spartan IVs are complete shit. Their armor doesn’t even look like powered armor, it looks like Lego pieces that are clipped together like old brass armor and somehow gets special abilities. There’s nothing special about them. Literal power rangers, meanwhile, the old Mjolner looks like heavy, dense, real thick titanium powered armor… God I fucking hate 343/Halo Studios
Like it or not, the story of Halo 5 is mostly about Osiris following Blue, and even saving Blue from stasis. Osiris’s story needs to be told too to not be clunky and lazy on 00’s part.
3:25 Who? 3:30 Who? It really bothered me that instead of pulling known Spartans from say.. Halo 4 or the novels they made a new team with people seemingly unknown. 4:05 All that build up as the big bad in Halo 4... only to off him in seconds. Hated that cut scene. 5:55 The most disappointing super soldier/child soldier fight - ever. I only hope the story in the next game is the focus point and not PVP... leaving the campaign abandoned and story on life support.
@@gavinwhite984 yes but you can't expect the masses that only played the games to know who they are. Even Locke came from a basically failed tv series and a book. I think they had a lot more planned, but were unfortunately cut for time and budget, along with pressure from Microsoft.

Are you sure this blue team ?, the members of blue team I know are church, tucker, caboose, Washington, Carolina and Andy the bomb
And technically Grif’s Sister and Tex
Blue team and Alpha-Nine are top tier.
Halo Wars 2 is still to this day my favourite thing that came out of 343 industries era of Halo. It vigorated my interest in the halo universe.

@brockgundich Agreed. Stuff of legends and what the heroes are made of. Forge and Jerome some legends.
