Incase you haven't seen the Demolition Ranch video on Titanium...
ruclips.net/video/C3fBkNIROg4/видео.html
Titanium is also VERY BRITTLE. A metal's usefulness as armor isn't just dependent on hardness alone. The titanium used in MJOLNIR armor most likely has some softer metal like steel added to it.
@@andyfriederichsen It's an alloy. Its most likely not pure titanium
The weapon said that helmet thickness has 63mm not 53mm
For my armor composite that I theorize would work on a real suit of mjolnir I used your titanium 50 but I added a 1/8 inch composite that consisted of bilayer graphene that was separated by gold leaf sheets. When stacked in a bilayer configuration graphene will briefly become as hard as diamond when exposed to a large impact.
Each piece broken down piece by piece
A spacesuit is sometimes called a spaceship you can wear, but MJOLNIR takes that to the extreme. It only lacks a MAC and a slipspace drive, but I'm sure doctor halsey is working on that.
If they figure out a way to reverse engineer whatever it is that allows the Harbinger to teleport, that'd be one step closer
Technically if you're using a railgun, you have a mini-MAC.
I mean, a single suit already costs about as much as a warship already.
But on that note; since a single well-trained Spartan can probably disable or destroy most average warships once aboard, and considering how much it costs to produce a Spartan, could they be considered anti-ship weapons?
@@palladin1337 YES. I certainly would, makes it easier on the budget review.
@@palladin1337 Spartans are Anti-Everything weapons
two major things displaying the gen3's durability: where atriox was able to crush gen1 mark4, the gen3 took a lot of hits even without shields without permanent damage.
secondly, the gen3 shields is shown to shrug of monitor beam hits that were shown to severely stun gen1 mark 6.
i think chief with a full upgrade suite, drasticaly improving his mobility and options, as well as nearly doubling his shield, and a smart ai in the suits system (further optimising general suit function, drasticaly improving reflexes, and adding intel) would have a good chance in a rematch.
using weapons beside a lone sidekick would help to i guess
@@Chrisspru Even basic Chief could beat Atriox in a fair fight. He sneak upon a no weapons Chief.
@@diosbatman chief did have a weapon, and in a book (Don’t remember which one) had almost died to a Brute minor. And Jerome is definitely a more capable Spartan than John. So is Sam, Kurt, Fred. All John has is luck

Maybe the microgravity in the forging of the armor plates is used to eliminate any bubbles/imperfections in the crystalline structure that would make the plates weaker. It's most likely using microgravity to remove a variable in production. The ultrasonic treatment looks like it was used to remove a crust layer on the armor that is less dense than the optimized alloy.
Correct
Your most detailed breakdowns have inspired me so much as a 3D designer and innovator. I'm currently working on making a climate control system for commonly found BDUs (similar concept to the UNSC Marine BDUs after I saw your MDB for that). I was in the US Marines for 5 years and still do a lot of hiking and outdoorsy stuff, and I get excited to work on it every time I see one of your videos. Your content is what humanity needs to feel inspired to innovate towards a better future!
You should get a patreon and thank you for your service! (I know your probably sick of hearing that.) However i would happily donate regularly to see updates on your designs in the future
@@aidenmeakin8747 thank you :) I appreciate it! And I've considered lol. My goal is to get a prototype functioning so I know I'm actually capable of achieving it, then I will probably open up a patreon and upload progress onto RUclips of me improving the design. I don't wanna take donations for something I can't pull off lol. But thank you for your kind words of support! :)
We should have a chat some time. My Project: MJOLNIR is on the go right now and I've developed a climate control system. I expect we could likely share some information.
You can find me on discord if you're up for a chat. Either that or throw me a DM on twitter.
@@Installation00 I'd love to! I'm away from my setup for a couple weeks right now and will try to reach out (probably via discord since I don't have Twitter) when I get home
Semper Fi! I served my four years in the stumps as an 0331, so that sounds like a great idea. Good luck!
It's mind-blowing to learn how the GEN3 armor suit represents the pinnacle of MJOLNIR armor technology featuring the best of GEN1, GEN2, SPI & ODST's VISR combined. Not only it's built like a lightweight tank being more resilient to ballistic & energy weapons than previous generations, but also being surprisingly "stealthy", tactically & strategically more capable, and being incredibly smart with BIOS, health & armor monitoring, counterintrusion program & "survival mode" integrated into the armor system
I mean it is the third generation.. Soo... It would be odd if gen two was still the best..
@@khristopherheiss52 To be fair it is debatable if gen 2 was better than gen 1, for Spartan 2s and 3s at least
And on a soldier like SpartanJohn he’s legend
@Beeg Yoshi It is. While there are objectively beneficial improvements in gen 2 like thrusters for EVA, there are changes like the changing of the way gen 2 amplifies strength (which is mostly beneficial to Spartan 4s) which make a Spartan 2 or 3 weaker in a gen 2 compared to their old gen 1.
Funny how you can clearly ser thrusters in the back yet you have to use an armor ability like in Reach 💀💀💀💀
Thank you bungietards
I see in depth break-downs, I click
Pleasure seeing you here.
You guys are awesome!! Love you guys and love both your channels!!!
Same; if they're longer than a half-hour, I click. If they're an hour or longer, I save to a playlist to watch again later.
The spine armor is there probably there for prevention of flood infection and corruptor protocols, and there to take no fall damage... Considering john loves to jump, and it probably makes the spartan be his own odst drop pod
Given John has already been his own ODST pod a couple times in the past with the old Gen 1 Mark 6 armor, the upgrades to better resist such "incidents" is deffinitly a good call
I think your right
I think the armor is there for more protection of the exosuit spine than anything else. as the spine is visible in the Gen 2 techsuit.
they dropped for orbit and bear suits before and those weren't even as good as this one
The fact that they made the armor a part of the spartan so it can directly scale with their power level regardless of class makes me realize how much thought they put into unifying new and old players.
Just so you know, there are new developments in artificial muscles like Liquid crystal elastomers. They are a lot like the liquid crystal used in halo. Also for real life mjolnir it could be powered my a ferrofluid microfission thorium reactor. It's very possible just quite hard to do.
Can't wait to see where the technology necessary for MJOLNIR is 50 years from now...
@@BlargeMan I've been designing these parts and it won't take nearly that long. The LCE muscles I'm talking about are stupidly strong and have a lift capacity of 750 times their weight on average and they have a human level response time if they are manufactured using electrospinning to make the fibers really tiny.
@@luccagoldin5134 that's so fucking cool, where can I learn more? When will this technology be mature and cost-effective enough to use in armor suits?
@@BlargeMan It's currently expensive but we are getting a lot more effecient about producing them. When I saw that installation 00 was creating a mjolnir suit it inspired me to design my own take on what irl mjolnir would look like today.
@@luccagoldin5134 seems like those things would also be far more energy efficient than the current mechanical exoskeletons we've been testing out. And far less heavy and bulky. And wouldn't put a strain on the body's posterior chain and spine. Idk about strapping mini fission reactors to the backs of our soldiers though 😂 just seems far too dangerous and vulnerable, especially if there was a breach. Any other ideas for how they could be powered?
As a note, the base device for both shield upgrades/overshields and the active camo module are identical save for the central emitter, suggesting that the module uses the existing armor shields to project the cloaking field in some way.
Cool theory, but the active camo still functions while the energy shields are down. I think they have to be separate systems.
@@er1cdoom a separate cloaking field that is under or over the shields themselves most likely.
@@er1cdoom generating a layer of bent light wouldn't necessarily take that much energy in comparison to creating a shield. Completely plausible that the armor can run the cloaking even if shields are damaged.
43:11 Seriously though, did the UNSC just completely forget about Mjolnir compatibility with Promethean Vision? What about all the other promethean armor abilities? Also the first time I saw AI Scan I immediately thought “Oh so the Artemis Tracking System is seeing widespread use now?” Makes sense I guess.
The breakdown is at a time period of 2560.
Most of the Foreunner stuff is experimental & simulation games on Infinity.
@@tristanbackup2536 we used all of it in campaign
I don’t think there’s an ingame lore reason for that. Just that 343 basically removed all that for the sake of rebooting the story
A lot of things from halo 4-5 were just silently removed
Most if not all of those were technology found on Requiem. And Requiem was destroyed. Suffice to say the UNSC wasn't picking up every piece of dropped promethean equipment while fleeing the planet. Its easier to program something to let people see through walls in a simulation, than it is to mass produce a piece of technology, that in hindsight, may only have really worked for chief due to Who he is, and what the Librarian did to him.
This isn’t an empire, it’s the Installation 00 Ecumene
really tho, so proud of how far this channel has come, discovered it from that cross promotion video with EckhartsLadder years back, and now this is one of those channels i religiously check to see if new videos are up.
One small thing I want to point out is that when you brought up the dead Spartans Chief finds in Infinite who didn't activate their failsafes, Weapon says "They never saw it coming, they were dead in an instant". The Spartan Hunter just killed them so fast they didn't even have a chance.
Installation 00: "Giving the blanket excuse of, because nanomachines, doesn't feel quite right"
Senator Armstrong: "Nanomachines, son"
If the systems are as advanced that it compinsates for injuries it detects in the wearer then that means ANY injuries including long lasting disabilities. (I.e. Admiral Musa who was an SII whose augmentation left him paralyzed and confined to a wheel chair as well as fhajad who also has Parkinsons disease) this armor would allow physically disabled spartan operators to maintain mission cohesion as long as the operator is wearing this generation of mjolnir. My theory
You make it sound like the suit can be used like the standard clothing of the Forerunners back during the height of their empire.
@@WolfeSaber9933 tbh I haven't delved that far into the forerunners outside the games. But the way its described its a possibility. Roady in the mcu uses his warmachine armor to do it as well as use special braces. So anything could be theoretically possible like most Sci fi stories.
@@WolfeSaber9933 it sounds more like nanosuit 2
More than likely not. Musa's not just disabled, he's also deformed, you still need muscles to move. If they're destroyed, moving the legs could cause further damage. Parkinson's would be ever worse, as the novels note that moving the armor before you get used to how quickly it moved bruised johns wrist. Parkinson's causes random uncontrollable movement. Imagine someone standing next you you, the next they have a leg spasm, and now they're halfway through the bulkhead like the world's shittiest hull plug.
@@aaronself2411 he bruised his wrist following him saluting and the armor did that. Musa's disability hasn't been explored much to my knowledge.
You talk about a lot of things being displayed on the HUD
However I think it is pretty reasonable that a lot of that information is actually provided via the neural link. The HUD only shows this kind of thing in the games because human neural interfaces haven't been perfected and widely adopted yet.
If I was wearing a suit I wouldn't want anything on the HUD that didn't absolutely have to be there. As it would be a distraction.
I would also say that the neural interface would be faster at providing information than requiring visual processing in the brain. Since it skips that step and is available in a more raw format.
Yeah i agree. The hud is only for gameplay, realistically it would make more sense to just feed the info directly to their brain
It sounds weird to call Spartans "cyborgs", but these breakdowns always remind me of such. Nice video as always
In Halo CE, the Master Chief is referred to as a cyborg in the chapter title that appears after meeting Captain Keyes on the bridge
@@IanThatMetalBassist dude you're 100% correct. Thanks for unlocking some memories
See, they are about as much cyborgs as a person with a pacemaker is a cyborg. It counts, but only just
@@Sigma-gb9yd Well just think about the augmentation process, its a necessary step before the suit is even considered. Out of suit, spartans are already beyond human limits due to biochemical and biomechanical procedures. But I do agree, its a pretty hardcore pacemaker.
@@Sigma-gb9yd You say that like the Zalemites are only technically cyborgs.
Imagine the day a Spartan retires and has to turn his armor in. Then has to wear normal clothes. Normal senses, pooping themselves, not being temperature controlled. Needing to do everything on their own. That is a big incentive to not retire. I can only imagine how dependent a Spartan would become relying on this armor for everyday things.
Well, I don’t think it would be too difficult to do everyday tasks, just the fact of reintegrating with society at large. Also, remember - Spartans are augmented and therefore better than any non-augmented Human in every way, shape, and form. Finally, I think ‘retirement’ of Spartans would mostly entail dying in battle.
@@migueltoledo1884 Depends on the Generation of spartan
2s would have no social skills and would probably be what the OP describes their challenges at(remember they were stolen as children around 5 or 6)
(Or would be Neutrally Anti-Social, they wouldn't be social nearly at all due to them being bored with society and would only talk to other, former spartans (IIs)
3s would be similar as most of them were orphans children and became Spartans(Aggressively Anti-Social, would actively avoid people not out of boredom but just not wanting to be around people at all. If you talk to one incorrectly, they'll snap you in half)
4s obviously have the best chance, as they grew up as children, became teenagers and finally made it to adulthood before then becoming a spartan, while also training and serving with normal people who became human
(If you strike a conversation with them, they'll talk back and might even crack a joke, and end up slapping and shattering your shoulder as they forget their strength)
The hell are you on about???
They're military operators, not babies.
They'll live like normal people for the

@@thatoneguy7715
2s have social skills, I'm tired of seeing this exaggerated misinfo. And 3s might do that if they're from the later classes where they need meds and if they don't get them, and may want to get it fixed.
I was not seriously making any comment on the Spartans or the lore. No specific generation in mind. Just a funny thing that I thought of is all. Thinking about how my life changed when I got out of the military I could only imagine how life would be different for the Spartans was all.
Chief's GEN3 Armor possibly having cryostasis tech was what I assumed was the case too. Was the only way I could figure how he possibly survived out in space for 6 whole months. . .
Was ONI able to reduce cost per unit? Given the vast post-war expansion of the Spartan program it seems they've finally made Mjolnir cost-effective.
most likely gen 3 is an improvement on gen 2 that was designed to optimise mass production. so cost-effective made not but maybe so we just don't know the cost of the suit.
All this incredible technology allows the mighty Spartan to survive enemy fire for an additional 0.2 seconds.
To a spartan 0.2 seconds is an eternity
I never knew that the little lights on armors were shield emitters until I started watching your videos, I thought they were just added for looks, make it more sci-fi
Elites also have little shield emitter lights, probably where the UNSC got the idea from
@@IanThatMetalBassist I know that elites have it as well but I was talking more from a game design pov make it look more sci-fi, I didn't know they had an actual in lore reason to be there

This is something I have been eager to see. There is a lot I have been looking to know about the improvements on GEN3 MJOLNIR, and this channel is the best place for detailed Halo lore on the MJOLNIR armor platform.
The Gen 3 has armor thickness comparable to a Panzer 3 Ausf. F or an M4 Sherman! That’s impressive!
Basically anything under 90mm won't penetrate it. Depending on velocity as well.

Escharum: "why wont you die!?"
Chief: "Nanomachines, son!"
Literally! But in other news, this comment is hilarious and scary since recently, my feed has been inundated with MGR memes for the past week.
My favorite thing about Spartans is how they're not beefy idiots in a fancy suit. They are educated to a college-level at least in physics and math and science, etcetera, so that they are even more effective at using the highly technologically advanced Mjolnir armor. Sure, you could stick a strong guy in this strong armor, and have him punch things... But imagine how much more effective they could be if they could creatively calculate outcomes based on what they know their equipment is capable of? Add to that an advanced AI and you have lightning-quick on-the-fly effective action and reliability.
MJOLNIR armor in the lore: Very strong and practically bulletproof.
MJOLNIR armor in the game: Literally can not protect the wearer from a pistol round to the head.
Bold of you to assume the 10mm pistol IS a 10MM Pistol SMH SMH.
The detail for this Mjolnir proves Chief needs no plot armor.
You do the best breakdowns on the tech in halo great job 10/10. I love the real life comparison to the tech in the game, since I’m a materials engineer. 👌 Hands down the best breakdown of video game tech I’ve ever seen.
Why do I always get a chuckle out the scene where chief returns to In Amber Clad and makes a *clunk* sound on impact?
I just watched your breakdown for gen 1 and gen 2 an hour ago and I checked for a gen 3 but I didn't see any. I started watching some of your other videos and checked your channel again and, here it is!
I would imagine that AIs would be able to detonate the fusion reactors in the suit, but so far I think Chief is the only one that's actually had an AI inside his suit
That’s not how the fusion reactors work. It isn’t like fission.
The logs you can find in the campaign confirm all the Spartans now have an ai(of course not nearly as smart as Cortana/the weapon) but nonetheless they’re there. BUTT I’m game dialogue also confirms that if the spartan dies so does the ai in a way
Sounds like no other suit of armor in videogames comes close to the level of detail and power that Mjolnir has put into it, truly amazing.
I think warhammer 40k power armour is the only other thing that comes close
@@Bananabob3even then, it relies more on sheer bulk than advanced technologies; in addition to that it can hardly handle plasma damage
Praetor suit
I think the crysis nano suit does
I just realized that Chief's armor in Halo Infinite is very similar from Halo Legends (The Package), anyone else see the similarities?
It was inspired by that armor
I love Master Chief's Mark VI Gen 3 in *Halo: Infinite.*
Btw, I love that intro soundtrack. Definitely was a great fit! Keep it up!
That skinsuit creates the superhero problem of overheating. You have a person who uses more energy per second at sometimes a magnitude or more of the energy of normal humans but lack any additional cooling.
The skinsuit would require a very sophisticated cooling system. In fact that might not be enough as the cold required to keep something like the MC from overheating could just freeze the skin. It might be necessary for a few connections to the bloodvessles and letting blood flow freely between the skinsuit and body, allowing the skinsuit to cool off the blood more directly and also perhaps store some extra over time to help save the Spartan if he's injured. It could also support the heart by pumping should the heart be compromised somehow (and the heart not broken and heamorraging).
Gen 4 is just gonna be a heavy version of the crysis nanosuit 2
Wasn't the gel lair designed to solve this issue?
@@01eksii 1: no, its designed to absorb and disperse heat from weapons.
2: I literally explain that whatever cooling you put on there, if it is just on the skin than it might need to freeze it. So I propose an alternative: connect blood vessels to the suit and cool the blood directly. It means you can add the surface area of all tubes entering the suit to your total cooling.
Eh better than any baggy realistic stuff plus it's 500 hairs in the future it would be boring to have baggy androgynous modern military crap on Spartans
@@jackdeviluke3969 the point of these Halo breakdowns is to show the depth and add realism to Halo lore. Unfortunately some things aren’t realistic.
But the point is: they could be. In this case instead of just a skinsuit, the suit is directly linked to the cardiovascular system and can cool the blood directly. It would also mean easy access for stimulants, nutrients directly in the bloodstream, filtering toxins, filtering and recycling waste, supporting the organs functions.
Its a simple addition that helps make the Mjolnir suits far more realistic and useful. Why does the MC never go to the toilet or need to eat? Well because his suit is filtering the waste directly from his bloodstream (means less blood needed to go to the kidneys) and and processing it using the energy from his suit. This means he can stay alive without food for much longer, if not almost indefinitely, depending on how efficient the recycling process is. On top of the cooling and all the other things it could then realistically do. Hey you lost blood in the last attack? Well the suit has stored some of your blood over time and is now injecting it.
This is an awesome video man. I am hearing this while im doing my literature project talking about real/fictional experiments that could affect humanity (Surprisingly i requested my teacher to talk about the Spartan augmentation process and how they could affect the world if they existed. AND SHE FUCKIN ACCEPTED)
Currently taking a break from my engineering courses by watching another video that is really a lecture on Halo Lore, science and engineering.
"Taking a break"
You sure it is a break? Just sounds like another lesson, only more interesting.
@@WolfeSaber9933 lol yes but ik more passionate about this topic simply because its related to a game I cherish since my childhood. Which is partly why I chose engineering
Yep. 😅 I go to work making cabinets only to come home & make my table. 😆
One thing I've always wondered, since we never see Chief eat or drink. Does the armor have like a built in canteen or water unit, with a hose that connects to the helmet like a camelbak or something? I mean. I get that its a fps but even in most other games you see a canteen or something on the body armor or backpack or whatever. And being in the Marines, they push hydration. They could care less if you're eating enough, but you better be drinking water! And Chief is still human. A super modified human, but a human none the less.
One of the things being looked at on the research side of exoskeletons is how powered support offsets the metabolic requirements of the human body. Dehydration is a side effect of exertion, brought on by higher blood flow rates pushing water out through the urinary tract as well as sweating. If the suit plays a significant role in reducing loads (thereby allowing heavier combat loads to be lifted, or an average load carried for longer), the operator can go for longer on a small supply of water. Not to say water is unnecessary, but a water supply integrated into the armor carries less than a camelback anyway.
A refillable water bladder under the chest plate might be more accessible (for serviceability and refilling), and routing the drinking tube up to the mouth would become trivial.
The suit filters fuilds and recycles it
@@SteveVi0lence I keep hearing this..... Recycling urine is not nearly enough water to satisfy hydration needs. Humans excrete less water than they drink, because most of it is stored in body cells (hence the function of hydration).
@@BattlesuitExcalibur it's the future
I've been waiting for this, so glad you've done it. An hour video of gen 3, it's like Halo Infinite's release all over again

hey bro why are humans not freeing ancient humans from their cylixes .......if they have superior genes having them on our side help later down the road?

Incredible, what an amazing breakdown, loved to learn more about the armour that protects our spartans
I don’t mean to sound rude or angry at all I just noticed this but alpha is not a threat at all really unless consumed (it only goes a an inch in air and can be blocked by a single sheet of paper) and just a normal humans skin and thick clothes is usually enough to mostly stop beta radiation so the fact the suit blocks them isn’t exactly impressive but still an amazing video
I know its probably done for an artist's aesthetics but I really wish the armor came with pouches for ammo and other kit again
I've been watching your most detailed breakdown series for some time now, and i'm continuously blown away by the research and effort that you put into not just your breakdown videos but all halo lore videos. I've been waiting for Gen 3's breakdown ever since the new Gen 3 platform was shown in lore. Abolutely love your work and i look forward to what else you have in store for us! =)
These break downs go great with model building
I just realized. Chief was not had a bath for six months in space and the Weapon says he smelled fine. What does make the Banished?
14:58 odd because gen2 was stated to use force multiplying circuits as well as reactive circuits
Gen 3 Mjolnir armor wasn't good enough to stop Atriox from rofl- stomping chief like Mike Tyson in his prime vs a 2nd grader.
Nice! Watching now. I hope this provides an answer to how the chief was able to survive in space for 6 months.. it's been bugging me since the game came out that this is never clearly explained
I mean the suit seems to have a built in mini personal cryo-stasis device for emergency use......also it has a built in life support system for matters such as this.
I vaguely remember one of the proposed upgrades to Mark 7 being a cryo survival mode, so I was pleased to see it's inclusion.
Course, another of those updates was a Micro-Slipspace drive to allow the armor to teleport without needing to hijack a Halo Ring's teleportation grid, it would be fun if that was included at some later date perhaps in a further update of the Mjolnir Gen 3 platform (though for gameplay reasons it would need to be limited to avoid making other abilities and vehicles redundant, perhaps only used as a backup option for traveling during the story due to extreme power draw or risk)
This detail is ridiculous and I live for it
One question: is there any indication you have encountered as to whether the fusion reactor is like the previous generations or a pinch fusion hybrid as seen in the Mk 7? If I recall your breakdown of the Mk 7, the increase in power output and lifespan did not justify the increased complexity and cost, but I would imagine that further advancements could have been made by the time of the Gen 3's implementation.
So, does the Gen III armor make a S-IV as strong as an S-II in-armor?
No it does close the gap but the two are stronger
@@chrishill3536 Well, even if the gap is completely closed, that still doesn't change the fact that the Spartan-II's and Spartan-III's are far more experienced and well trained, not to mention loyal than the Spartan-IV's are.
I like to know if all Spartan armor is immune to regular fire? You know the fire that we lit up in our camp.
They're definitely immune from a lore perspective. In-game is a different story altogether.

My biggest question is, what is the bar that appears when the shield bar has taken damage supposed to be? Structural integrity and the overall condition of the suit or user vitality? Maybe both, but then how can it fill up so quicly? Both healing a serious injury and reaparing the suit using nanomachines would take a lot more time than a couple of seconds, i think we can all agree on that. Of cource i know it's for gameplay reasons, i just want to know if there is any lore explanation
Maybe shield capacitors or a second shield layer?
Please lore daddy, give me that fix

I never liked the halo infinite music but that intro made it sound epic. Wow when you hear music in context it really changes a lot. Seriously hearing the music in the multi-player lobby I turn it down. But that intro..... Good job bro it was super cool.
Watching this got me thinking, maybe M Gen 2 was a stop gap iteration? While superior to the SIII's SPI armour it was inferior to the SII's M Gen 1 and possibly Gen 1-B. But the main issue with Gen 1 was the cost, a single suit was the same as a cruiser.
Perhaps Gen 2 was created to be a cheaper alternative and to arm up the SIV's quickly to fill vacuum left by the fall of the covenant, at least until they could take the lessons learned from Gen 1 and Gen 2 and pull it together into a platform that is superior to Gen 1 and 2, with a much cheaper overall cost?
Couldn't Chief's 6 Month survival in space have been aided by his Forerunner enhancements?
If chief only has a “class 2 battle skin” when 343 guilty spark suggest he should have at least a “class 12” then I really wanna see what a class 12+ can do
Are you still building armor? Haven't seen any updates lately and got a little concerned.
Nearly two years later, I would like to ask Yoo; would an update or supplemental vid be on the horizon?
This was a great video but dude, how many ads did you put on this video, felt like two every three minutes..
If a Spartan was unconscious could an AI walk the Spartan away if permission was given?
Ah yes, my day is complete. New video from my favorite youtuber
Would love to see a breakdown of each gen of Mjolnir. Great video as always.
3:12 just for the video to start?
I know it is low compared to the length of the video but still.
Are the various Gen 3 armor cores ( Mark VII, Mark VI and Mark V[B] ) a canon in-universe thing or is just a non-canon multiplayer mechanics ?
If the fight with Atriox where he basically launches an uppercut to his face and does jck shit is anything to go by, it's as useless as a wet paper bag.
Isn't Chief's armor the Mk 8 that was a proposed mention in Halsey's Journal?
Can you do an augmentation breakdown on the ORION Project? I like writing down augmentation procedures from your channel and I've heard all augmentations except for the ORION Project
at this point I'm pretty sure you work for ONI or something.
First
Could the polymerised lithium niobocene be like a sol gel of lithium niobium
been waiting for something on gen 3, hell yeah!
Here is my issue. There is no legit reason that makes sense why they would go backwards on the thrusters. It was so useful and suddenly they removed it from the next Gen.
Hey guys you know that system that gave our super soldiers the ability to be twice a mobile and survivable? Yeah go ahead and remove it and put a hook on a string instead.
yea I thought that as well.
Saw the intro and thought we might have gotten an update on The Cartographer. :(
Still! Looking forward to watching it!
Also does this imply an AI can take control of a full spartan since there is alot of engineering to allow the human to move the suit? Does this mean spartans can go rogue and AI's can control them if they go in standby mode? Seeing how master chief can heal 10 times faster due to the suit and the tech included... is this suggesting AI controlled spartans? It would make sense because AI are funny to play against sorry im just being a nerd this is really cool I love it.
In Halo Combat Evolved, Cortana says that Chief’s suit architecture isn’t that different from the pillar of autumn, and he tells her to not get any funny ideas, so I’d say with a little experimentation a smart AI could eventually figure out how to walk the suit and then eventually move the suit like a spartan
Getting lost in the woods Spartan?
Yo after all this time I finally realized he look like DR. Who cross with a British spy lol
@Installation00 do you remember when master chief just felt from space like an asteroid in halo 3?
Way to reference Demo Ranch. It's amazing to see a Texan's curiosity be used for an amazing video like this one.
Never thought I'd see Demolition Ranch cited as a source in a video like this, a very welcome surprise
Amazing, well done! The quality of this breakdown, editing, and presentation is breathtaking!
That was the coolest opening ever.
One thing that threw me about the weapons ability to smell via suit sensors is that surely via access to the neural interface, an AI could decode what the brain picks up on. But then this would likely be useless inside the suits filtered air systems
Given the fact that the AI shares "space" in the Spartan's own brain, with some practice and the Spartan or opening their helmet (or having a filtration failure) the AI might be able to read our own senses too.
Given the more advanced capabilities of the Nueral interface and our own modern research into such systems it in fact could be easy for the AI to read the Spartan's own senses, the AI might very well see the world partly threw the Spartan's own eyes in addition to cameras in the armor (and Spartans have darn good eyes so there would be plenty to see)
Love the amount of creation and work that goes into breaking down the mechanics of this armor set and lore. Very inspiring to watch with a creative mind!
Dr. Haley's greatest masterpiece
This was most detailed my dude
The explanation for Chief surviving for 6 months in space is the best explanation I've heard
I would love a gen 3 Anubis armor lore video.
This was a great video btw!
31:27 They forgor 💀
I’m very much interested in why the UNSC didn’t use some sort of variation on Sangheili or even the Forerunner’s own armor growing process. Using massive vats of bulk liquid nano-suspensions and variable electrical/magnetic/electromagnetic and ultrasonic vibrations or wavelengths to create a single crystal by forcibly growing it molecule by molecule, or atom by atom. Using a bulk borosilicate or even some type of osmium crystalline structure as Installation has already stated is the bulk base material for the Covenant in their nano laminate plating, is now potentially absolutely within their capacity to manufacture. Using materials in addition to titanium such as tungsten, silicon, carbon, iron, iridium, osmium, nickel, gold, copper, chromium, molybdenum, platinum, silver, various lanthanides or tantalites, beryllium, zirconium, zinc, magnesium, aluminum, or
When Grace died in First Strike, Chief had to manually turn her suits self destruction on. So yeah, i guess its not automatic.
