Analogue motoring at its finest. Who wants giant screens, flappy paddles and switch handbrakes when you can actually enjoy the experience and be fully involved in the experience too
Just to clarify, Escort Cosworth headlights are NOT a standard Escort mk5 headlights. Genuine ones are really pricey in NOS condition (~300 £ a piece) and are hard to find.

Never seen one of these classic cars in this great colour what a stunner my dream car they sound good and drive like a Cosy Ford should this one is in near mint condition the seats are without any tears or cracks some of these beautiful cars can sell for upto 60,000 well worth it
typical now I can afford the insurance I can't afford the car, when the insurance companies put these in the top category they actually added another category for these, there used to be 20 categories at the time and these went to 21, and the price of the cars plummetted as only people over 55 with a clean licence and no 15 years no claims could insure them and they didn't want them so a lot got put away in garages, barns, lockups and shipping containers etc, we're now seeing them being recommissioned, and they look great, I wish ford would remake the XR series escorts, sierras fiestas, they would sell like hot cakes, all the old men with money who wanted them back then would be banging on the ford salesroom doors Monday morning.

Really nice car. But i would put the standard wheels back on it and maybe the standard headlights on it.
I was thinking the same, especially as - for investment reasons (at the prices these cars now command), it needs to be as the factory intended it
