As someone who has been to jail (I missed a court date for a traffic violation and had to sit for a weekend)
The FIRST thing literally everyone asks you is what you did. And if you don't answer, people assume it had something to do with kids. On top of that the people who have been there long enough have people on the outside who will look up new inmates and their charges.

I have not been to prison, but I have been in a psychward 9 times. And in many ways, it's similar to a jail (at least the ones I went to) and the first question I was asked every time was "so why are you here?" Like before they even asked my name..
As a teen volunteer in a hospital... i literally only sit at the desk and help people who get lost. I think with a little more training, i could answer phone calls, but it's pretty boring being a TV...

They wanted to make her sound smart here, but my doctor explained to me during that one time I stabbed my hand with scissors that the dissolvable sutures break off easily, especially in areas of the body that are moved around very frequently like I dunno… the arms.
also, with a cut that deep, i wouldn't be shocked if there actually were dissolvable sutures deeper into the wound, and the doctor used regular sutures superficially

I'm a nurse and we get calls at the nurses station all the time of people asking medical questions. Never once has anyone just called to ask "is this a disease" and then after you respond, just hang up. Like what was that lmao? Also I would try to get some kind of information from them, like why are you calling to ask in the first place? Are you having symptoms? How old are you? You can tell in these little Brat shows that the director is NOT doing his job well enough, the script is obviously written by two 40 year old white men who haven't heard a teenager speak in over 17 years, and the "actors" have no idea how to use facial expressions or sync their dialogue with each other to form a smooth conversation (which is also kind of the directors fault). Like seriously, I have 0 experience in the production side of TV but I could probably do better than what these idiots are doing.

This volunteer program is so much different than what I did in high school😭. In the hospital I was at, they had us do labs, wrap equipment and sort them, pack supply orders for doctors and nurses, help in gift shop, clean surgical tools, help in patient care( like keep them company, play games especially the ones who have no family and have been in there for a while). Basically we did so much there was barely time for us to sneak in the storage closet and make out. But this was so funny though😭

@@DriscolDevil oh I see, I remember doctor Mike saying something about malpractice when he was reacting to a scrubs episode, he said that it was a recurring theme in most "hospitals tv shows" so essentially tv executives don't really know what to do I guess.
