The "eating sugar for breakfast" girl worries me. Like, that's the diet of somebody who is (working on becoming) malnourished and underweight. People who are extremely underweight often eat a LOT of sugary sweets, tee with tons of sugar, or just plain sugar, and basically nothing else. The sugar keeps you going, gives your body a little kick, but without any fats and carbs and proteins etc you're never gonna put on weight. Or get any nutrition.

The "eating sugar for breakfast" girl worries me. Like, that's the diet of somebody who is (working on becoming) malnourished and underweight.
People who are extremely underweight often eat a LOT of sugary sweets, tee with tons of sugar, or just plain sugar, and basically nothing else. The sugar keeps you going, gives your body a little kick, but without any fats and carbs and proteins etc you're never gonna put on weight. Or get any nutrition.

He's not in medical school, he's a premed student and a pretty shit one at that since he hasn't done any research on how to become a dentist. This is because dentists in the US take a different course of training than physicians, with different undergraduate requirements, different application processes and different admissions tests. Lastly, they go to dental school and not medical school.

@@JonGearComics It's a common negative stereotype about black people spread originally to justify slavery and then racism. It's not always clear cut what is an isn't a microagression, which is why thry said they thought they were reading too much into it when they thought it was that (which I also did) but I'd argue this is one because he told everyone else to be themselves except Jada, the only black woman in the group.

Normally, I roll my eyes at those in older generations who condemn kids these days and lament the new trends of culture they can’t keep up with.
But in this instance, I think I understand why they feel there is no hope for the future.
It’s hard to remember sometimes that we only show the wealthy and/or most ridiculous people we can find on TV. It’s gotten harder with the rise of “reality TV” because it’s presented under the false pretense that it’s genuine interactions. But we need to remember these aren’t representations of a generation, they’re outliers and that’s why they got picked to be on camera.
