Okay so I saw a comment saying "Take a shot for every time Jeremy Renner is said in this video." I was bored and I wanted to know how much alcohol that would be. The average shot size in the US is between 1.25 and 1.5 fluid ounces, so I took the average of that to get 1.375. Jeremy Renner was said 82 times in the video, meaning that that would be 112.75 fluid ounces of alcohol. I'll assume that we're drinking shots of vodka, and the average vodka has about 40% alcohol content. This works out to 45.1 fluid ounces of alcohol. My next question is, would this give you alcohol poisoning? You know what, it definitely would. Let's just see if it would kill a person. So, it takes 5 to 8g/kg of alcohol to kill an adult. Converting fluid ounces to grams, we get roughly 1334 grams. That is nearly 3 pounds of alcohol. Assuming that you're a roughly average person of 60 kg, we get 22 grams per kilogram of alcohol. Even if we assume it would take the upper end of the lethal dose to kill you, that is enough alcohol to kill three people. So basically, you'd fucking die. I made this at 2am and I need to sleep.

Almost 3 years later, I finally figured it out. On 12:45, you can see at the bottom that it says "1 superstar = 10 stars". So, the reason the number that appears in the "leaderboard" is 10x less than what you spent in stars is that it's counting in "superstars", which is almost impossible to tell from the symbol because it's just a star

There is no way that these apps aren't designed to scam the disabled and mentally ill. I am developmentally disabled / neurodivergent (ADHD + autism), and my instinct has always been to take people at their word. I have learned the hard way that people lie and manipulate. A LOT. But there are still many ND people in the world who haven't learned that lesson, and some never will. Not all brains are capable of understanding the difference between words and intentions. The difference between a celebrity saying they care about their fans and a celebrity performing actions that show they care. I also have dyscalculia, and there are so many numbers in João's post that it just washes over my brain like a wave. It's like trying to read something written in a language I don't understand. Historically, society always blames the victims. How could we be so naive? How could we be so trusting? How could we be so stupid? Some people are stupid. Almost 3 years later, I finally figured it out. On 12:45, you can see at the bottom that it says "1 superstar = 10 stars". So, the reason the number that appears in the "leaderboard" is 10x less than what you spent in stars is that it's counting in "superstars", which is almost impossible to tell from the symbol because it's just a star

There is no way that these apps aren't designed to scam the disabled and mentally ill.
I am developmentally disabled / neurodivergent (ADHD + autism), and my instinct has always been to take people at their word.
I have learned the hard way that people lie and manipulate. A LOT.
But there are still many ND people in the world who haven't learned that lesson, and some never will. Not all brains are capable of understanding the difference between words and intentions. The difference between a celebrity saying they care about their fans and a celebrity performing actions that show they care.
I also have dyscalculia, and there are so many numbers in João's post that it just washes over my brain like a wave. It's like trying to read something written in a language I don't understand.
