    These iron swing tips will help you keep the swing on plane so you can hit your irons pure. Using an alignment rod is a simple way of creating a golf swing drill to keep the club in the right position. The iron swing plane is crucial to keeping the club in front of us so our path and face angle is more neutral.

    I’ve watched all of your videos in the last hour and half. WHO ARE YOU AND WHY IS THIS INFORMATION FREE?! My handicap has dropped strokes and I haven’t even played my next round yet. Your explanations are the best and I’ve watched days worth of golf videos in RUclips.

    I always love these little golden nuggets that are kind of after thoughts in the lesson..........."The set position is the slot going the other direction."........that never dawned on me before.

    Amazing stuff. I'm going to buy an alignment stick holder for my garage simulator so I can set something up a similar practice station. Don't take this next statement as a knock - it's funny how when Adam is doing the intro / outro and talking to the camera he's not quite himself but when giving a lesson you can tell he's in his comfort zone and his natural love for the coaching and the game just oozes out of him. Love this channel.

    Love this lesson. Question: does this apply to the driver as well. I am a unpredictable snap hooker at times. You are the best instructor out there keep up the good work! Thank you.

      Thank you! With the driver you have to stay back and try to release the club into the ball and you have to be sure to turn your body harder later to stabilize the Clubface and keep it from flipping!

    Great lesson Adam. Question: If at setup, you drew a line from the ball, up the shaft and thru your belly button, would the swing plane be on that line up and down the swing or be over (on top of) that line up and down the swing.

    Great video, Adam! So I should set the club with the butt of the grip pointing between my feet and the ball in the takeaway? Remember: I'm 6'10" and struggle with too flat a swing, around my body. Thanks!

    • @PorzakGolf
      @PorzakGolf  2 года назад

      Absolutely for someone at your height It’s even more important to make sure the swing is is working more up the plane instead of under!

      This is what I struggle with the most. I’m only 6’4 but my biggest swing fault is my backswing being extremely flat. It feels like a normal swing of course, but when videoing it, my lead arm is pretty much in line with my chest. I then shoot my lower body much faster than my upper so the clubs comes flying over the top. The only weird thing though is that I can work the ball really well with my driver but my irons are literally all fades

    How do you hold that angle and turn through the ball. I hit it fat or top it when I hold that angle through impact.

    I'm still not catching why the last second flip happens. Even if my downswing is on plane, why do i have a tendency to flip at the last second making my swing path steep? You started talking about it early in the video but I'm not sure you addressed it, or i didn't appreciate the explanation.

    Here's what I want to see, a shitty golfer who is flipping, and you fix him in front of my eyes. A drill: something. Seeing two people that have amazing golf swings doesn't do anything for me. You've affected this kids swing Zero. And mine as well.

      First, I think what you are asking for would require a series of videos. As everyone who plays knows, getting better takes time and reps. Second, you can absolutely see the move Adam was talking about at the beginning and then how it was becoming less pronounced through the lesson. If you want a miracle drill, there are thousands of videos on RUclips with such claims but I would be weary. I love Adam's approach of filming portions of genuine lessons. He also does do videos with lower level players if you watch his library of vids. It's fine to disagree, but I for one love this channel.
